Going through forgiveness training can be humbling and difficult, but it will be one of the most rewarding things you can ever do to set yourself free and clean up your heart. In Matthew 18: 21-35 we see a perfect example of forgiveness and what happens when we allow our corrupted hearts to make decisions for us.


If you are in an abusive relationship or struggling to forgive someone close to you who has hurt you through their mental illness or addiction, I hope you will take time to look into the following websites and seek help for yourself.


The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is a great resource in helping to support families and educate them on mental illness. You can find help through nami.org.


If you have a loved with dealing with addiction, Al-Anon is an excellent group to help you find a way to help your loved one as well as yourself. Please don't let your Christian beliefs or free of your future and finances keep you in an abusive relationship.
