The Healing Project

Mike Giongo has the heart of a lion. Actually – in his own words, it more closely resembles that of a dog. Full of love, and always willing to both give and receive it.

Growing up as a person with Autism, Mike faced unique challenges. Through self-reflection, a positive spirit, and a family that always had his back, Mike learned to appreciate his strengths, embrace his neurodiversity, and overcome what one doctor said was impossible.

In this episode, Mike joins @PeopleTalkingSittingDown to discuss how his brain processes information, the advantages and disadvantages that come with it, how we can increase empathy in future generations, and much more!
