Hey there, jetsetters. It is June 13th, and you know what that means. Yes. I was up at 3 AM Eastern Standard Time to see the final 4 episodes of season 3 of Bridgerton that dropped this morning. I am obsessed with all things Bridgerton. The stories, costumes, the wigs, the sets, the acting, Julie Andrews' Lady Whistledown, the podcast, and, of course, the hot and steamy sex scenes. Who's with me? Come on. Be honest.

Who did not get a little hot and bothered watching season 1 with the Duke and Daphne in the library? I mean, Simon is one hot man. I heard on a podcast that that was the first scene those two actors had to film together. Upward. Okay. And the recent carriage scene with pollen? Come on. I cannot see you, so you might as well raise your hands and be honest. Now before I share all the juicy details about how jet setting with me is going to go behind the scenes of Bridgerton together in 2025, I do have a personal favor to ask. I'm really especially proud of the recent episodes of just setting with me.

I'm finally starting to find my groove, and I really need your help. Follow, download each episode, and listen. And if you're so inclined to leave me a review on Apple Podcasts, well, who knows? You may just get a shout out on a future episode. It really does help others find this podcast. Now onto some fabulous locations that you can visit that have to do with bridgerton. So the bridgerton family home, the exterior, kind of the center of the bridgerton world. Their family home is definitely the center of the Bridgerton home, but we see a lot of exterior scenes when important things happen. Daphne and Simon announce that they're gonna stay in London at the very end of season 1.

In season 3, everyone's there when Colin comes back into town. So it is in London. The real life location is Ranger's House, and the magnificent stately home for the interior scenes is Hatfield House, and it is in Hertfordshire. So we have London for the exterior and Rangers House, and Hatfield House in Hertfordshire for the interiors. Now the Featherington House exterior is in Bath. It's a Royal Crescent Hotel and Spa. And in Bath, there were other scenes that were filmed there too. For example, Gunter's Tea Shop, where Daphne and Simon have their faux date in season 1, is at 12 Trim Street, and there is now a recently opened hair salon.

So let's all go get our hair done. Blowout for sure. And the Abby Deli at 2 Abby Street is where the Modiste is located. Bath has so many different locations that they actually the city of Bath recommends 2 different tours for filming locations. So you can take a 2 hour walking tour of their filming locations, and there's 2 different companies that visit Bath recommends for that. Bath is known for its beautiful Georgian architecture. It was used extensively as a filming location for the Bridgerton series, as I just said. It includes iconic scenes of the Holman Museum and the Royal Crescent.

Again, you can see those on the walking tour. Now, Buckingham House. The real life location of the Buckingham House exterior is Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. We saw it used as a stand in for Buckingham House in Queen Charlotte. It is UNESCO World Heritage Site, and I'm all about UNESCO World Heritage Sites. And it's got a sprawling 7 acre grounds. It contains sir Winston Churchill's birth room, a walled garden, a massive maze that we can see bits and pieces of when Penelope rushes to the garden and where her first kiss is with Colin. It also has a miniature train that tours the palace property.

So very cool location in Oxfordshire. And they have a lights, camera, action trail that gives a guided tour of the locations that are used in the TV and film sets, including Queen Charlotte, Bridgerton season 3, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and James Bond Spectre. So tell me that is not a set jetting place that I have to go. Now the Queen's House interior actually has several different locations, and there's very few that the locations director of Bridgerton said could work for anything that has to look as grand as Buckingham. It is filmed at the Wilton House in Wiltshire. It has also been used, that same house was used in The Crown and also in 20 nineteen's Emma. It is a Palladian style house, and there are many rooms in Queen Charlotte's Buckingham House that are used as filming locations at the Wilton House, and also various interior shots of the Duke of Hastings, Clive Dunn Castle. Hello.

Flashbacks to that library scene again. And some of the chambers in Lady Danbury's home are also filmed there. The estate actually belongs to the Earl and Countess of Pembroke who have opened it up to public visits. So for anyone paying attention to the peerages, we have the queen and king, prince and princesses, and then we get down to our dukedoms. So Daphne becomes a duchess when she marries the Duke of Hastings. Then we have a Marquez, and at least through season 3, I haven't found a Marquez. And I've read many of the books too, and I know that there is one in a different series that Julia Quinn has written. But so far, I haven't seen, Bridgerton who marries a Marquess or a Marquess in a side story so far.

There is a Marquess who is in Julia Quinn's side story, how to marry story. Okay. We have an earl, the Earl of the Kilmartin, who Francesca eventually marries. Spoiler alert to the series on TV, but not for us book lovers too. Now earls don't have a lot of political power, and their titles are not given, but only inherited, which means someone who is an earl has a large estate and is from very old money. Then we have the viscount. Obviously, the Bridgerton. Anthony is a viscount and Kate is the viscountess.

And Anthony's father was a viscount, and he inherited the title from him. And then we have the baron. Our new baron is Mandarche's son, Nikki, Will, and his wife, Alice, and they just inherited the title and the estate in season 3 part 1. The mantras are not in the book, so that was created for the series. Now about the real Earl and Countess of Pembroke, it was created by King Henry the 8th for his future queen Anne Boleyn. And the honor was in recognition of the king's great uncle, Jasper Tudor, who had been the Earl of Pembroke, and his own father, Henry the 7th, was born at Pembroke Castle in January of 14/57. So this beautiful home, Wiltonshire, has been around for a while. Now season 3's first garden party was filmed in Southern England and the Squires Court in Seven Oaks.

And when we visit there, we can do a wine tasting at the estate's 36 acre vineyard. The sparkling wine is considered some of the best in the world, and in 2 20 Squires Court took home gold in the champagne and sparkly wine world championship. We also have Primrose Hill that stands in. That's where all the promenades, and the picnics, and the various outdoor scenes take place. That is Haines Hill Park in Surrey. This historic landscape garden has exquisite follies, lakes, we've seen Anthony fall into 1, was transformed into a romantic setting for many of the outdoor scenes. As I said, Daphne and Simon promenade, and it is also where in season 3, the first half, Ward Hawkins makes his disastrous attempt to take flight in a hot air balloon, and Colin saves the day. We have Lady Danbury's residence, which is filmed in London at Scion House with lavish interiors and gardens that add to the show's Regency era charm.

And then the Royal Naval College in Greenwich, which has grand buildings, expansive grounds, and it provided the backdrop for many Bridgerton scenes, particularly those that are set in the gardens and outdoor areas. Now, summer of 2025, get ready, because we are going in search of Bridgerton's Britain. We are doing it all. Some of the highlights include the atmospheric world of Regency Britain and bridgerton in the heart of England's capital, we are going to take in the most impressive sites of the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We are going to have afternoon tea at the Lanesborough, one of the most highly acclaimed teas in London. So get ready for those scones. Oh, yum, I can't wait. Honey, potting cream tea in London is the best.

As I said, the former home of King Henry the 8th and the venue for another clutch of Bridgerton scenes is in Hampton Court Palace. We're going there. We're gonna promenade like Daphne and Simon, and the Duke and Duchess of Hastings around the picturesque lawns and lake of Paine's Hill Park. We're gonna revisit some of those memorable fabulous tours in Bath, exploring its picture postcard Regency streets, and finally, immerse ourselves in the rolling Wiltshire countryside, and recall some of Bridgerton's most famous scenes at Wilton House. So imagine this, you arrive in London, and you overnight at that fabulous Lanesborough with the great tea. Next day, we go and explore Greenwich. Next up, Hampton Court Palace and Painshill Park. Grand Country Estates West of London, and then we explore Bath and badminton, Wiltshire and Wilton House before we all return home.

Now if that excites you, then I highly encourage you to get on the waiting list for the further details, including the dates and the cost. And the way to do that, very easy, just send me a DM that says bridgerton on my Instagram at jetsetting with michele with one l, and you too will get all the details. Until next week, folks.
