Managing Your Energy for Maximum Results with Brand Strategist and Copywriter Michelle Simons PART TWO
In this episode of Business Models for Creators, I continue my conversation with brand strategist and copywriter, Michelle Simons. Go back and check out part 1, if you missed it!
Michelle and I talk about marketing and monetization, specifically how she makes money in her business and how she finds her clients. It’s all in the emails!
We go deeper into Michelle’s life as a business owner with a chronic illness and chat about how she stays on top of work, keeps to deadlines, and handles new ideas, all while taking care of her health.
We also discuss AI and whether copywriters are at risk of losing their jobs to this new technology.
Michelle notes that “copywriters are probably not going to be replaced, but copywriters who don’t use AI will be replaced.”
Michelle says that she doesn’t feel threatened by AI because she spends her time as a strategist which requires her human brain and her “ability to understand all the aspects of my client’s business, …and I don’t think we’re there yet with AI, so I don’t worry that it can do that part of my job for me.”
In the episode, you’ll learn:
- How Michelle makes money as a brand strategist and copywriter
- How she packages her services
- Some super-niche businesses Michelle works with
- Why she likes cold-email pitching
- How Michelle manages her business with a chronic illness
