The road is to acceptance is usually lead by resistance. We resist the things in life we don't want. And there is nothing wrong with that because no one wants a bad outcome. But a large amount of resistance will lead to suffering no one should have to endure. Life is a game of Tetris, you have to adapt to what pieces you are given if you want to win.
