In this episode, the hosts(Pastor Matney and Bro. Rich) begin discussing the uncomfortable but necessary responsibility of identifying hinderances to following the truth wherever it leads us. Each of us must maintain humility and honesty in our approach to understanding God's Word. There are many obstacles to objectivity in our interpretation of the Bible. Christians recognize that in order for a sinner to be saved, the sinner must be willing to admit wrong/error, repent, and receive the change that Christ brings. All of this is expected of the sinner when he/she is confronted with the light of God's truth. As Christians, it is needful to ask ourselves: "How do I respond when further light of the Word shines on my path? Am I as willing to admit error and adjust my beliefs/practice?"
