This series is meant to give conversation about abuse and to start the movement to have it a conversation in our homes, among our families, friends and communities. If we can have these conversations in ease and make it easy for our children to come to us with trust and judgement free, we can start the movement of prevention.
My brothers and I share a conversation about some of the abuse that we encountered and how we dealt with it as children and how we do now as adults. The more we talk about what happened in our childhood, the more we are able to grow and be better adults. I think the more we converse about this subject it helps us heal and be better for the children in our lives.
