Follow along in an open King James Bible as Brother Scott Evans teaches on the meaning of the word, "Complete," found throughout God's word.
Grace and Peace!

I hope you enjoyed this episode of Brother Scott's Look in the Book, and most of all, I pray you learned from it and that it helped you dive deeper into God's word, which he places above his very name.
(Psalm 138:2 KJV) (2) I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

God gives us instruction on how to study our Bibles:
(2 Timothy 2:15 KJV) (15) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Please do not only go by what I say, but do the work and study for yourself.
"Anything I can talk you into, someone else can talk you out of."

Hi! This is brother Scott with another Truth Time, Look in the Book!
Today is part 11 in my series, “Bible Key Words and Meanings A to Z.”
We continue with the letter “C.”
The word today is:

Complete

(Colossians 2:10 KJV)
(10) And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

You, too, can be complete in Christ. So, what does that look like?
(Colossians 2:11-14 KJV)
(11) In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
(12) Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
(13) And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
(14) Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Complete means just that, complete, not partial.

Looking at a different reference to the word, “Complete,” in scripture, let’s examine
(2Ti 2:7 KJV) (7) Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.
Is Paul saying for the Lord to give us understanding in a few things?
No, quote, “…the Lord give the understanding in all things.” Unquote.
How is having understanding in all things possible for us?
Because we have the full, complete, perfect knowledge of the Son of God.
It’s found written in our King James Bible.
The revelation of the mystery.
We could not have been complete, brought into the full stature of the fullness of Christ until that which is perfect had come.
Paul's revelation of the mystery had to be completely revealed.
And it is.
(Col 1:25 KJV) (25) Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
The word of God could not have been fulfilled without the apostle Paul.
Paul's revelation fulfilled God's word, made it complete, made it perfect.

As always, I urge you to be like the noble Bereans and search the scriptures rightly divided to see if what I am teaching is true.

So, before I go, please hear me out. Life on this earth is short.
(James 4:14 KJV)
(14) Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

How many times have you asked yourself, “Where did that last 10 years go? Or 20, or 30, or 40 years, etc?

And now you have THE two most important questions in life to ponder:
Forever be with the Lord, or tribulation, judgment, and wrath?
So how can I be saved, you ask?
Please listen carefully to the word of God:
(Eph 1:12-13 KJV)
(12) That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
(13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

And referencing Jesus Christ:
(Rom 4:25 KJV) (25) Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

And what is the gospel of your salvation?
Notice the words, “the gospel,” in verse 1 that our apostle Paul declares unto us:
(1 Co 15:1-4 KJV)
(1) Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
(2) By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
(3) For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
(4) And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

(2 Co 6:2 KJV) (2) (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

We all need hope to get through this life, because it can be difficult at times for all of us.
So, look at the hope you will be able to look forward to, but only if you are saved:

(1Th 4:13-18 KJV)
(13) But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
(14) For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
(15) For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
(16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
(17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
(18) Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Finally, God himself longs for each and every one of us to be saved:
(1Ti 2:4 KJV) (4) Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Please don’t delay. Today is the day of your salvation… if you so choose!
