There has been a lot of talk about the 70/50 rule lately and people questioning it's merit. While I do think there is a place for the 70/50 rule in our pre-takeoff briefings, it is not a situation which should arise often and there are many other factors that need to be considered when doing a proper briefing. Today we dive into the departure and abort plan briefings and all the things YOU need to consider to make safe decisions.
