It's hard to make a movie.
It's even harder to make a movie that accurately depicts a specific place and set of characters.
That said, if you DO make a movie in which you hope to portray a particular place and people, it's perhaps important to get actors who sound like they're from that particular place and time. That said - this movie is extremely Dad friendly, featuring such notable Dads as Nice President Dad (Martin Sheen), Angry Yelling Dad (Alec Baldwin) and Generational Icon Dad (Jack Nicholson). Other Dads represented: Film Dad ("It's based on a Hong Kong cinema classic!"), Boston Dad ("Look, it's the ugliest City Hall in America!"), and Scorcese Dad ("Sure, it's not Raging Bull but it's better than The Irishman!"). We do a Big Boston Dig into Marty's 2006 Best Picture winner THE DEPARTED.
