Episode 7: Understanding Sensitive Skin
In this episode, sponsored by Savlon Scar Prevention Gel, Kate talks to Joanna Jensen from baby and child personal care brand Childs Farm. You’ll probably have a bottle of their baby wash by your bath and you might even sneakily use their conditioner yourself! The brand was inspired by Joanna’s daughter Bella who suffered with sensitive skin and eczema, as did Joanna herself. This podcast is a must for families battling with itchy, uncomfortable skin and the pain this can cause their child. Joanna shares her advice, and some inside information on some of the nasties that appear in family bath products!
Joanna Jensen is the founder of the British multi-award winning, baby and child personal care brand, Childs Farm. Childs Farm was created in 2010 by Jensen as a result of her own daughters’ sensitive and eczema prone skin. Jensen is also a Sustainability advisor to The British Beauty Council. Childs Farm is the market leader in sustainability, and recently became a certified B Corp.
