In this episode I speak with someone who grew up in the South, where being gay wasn't an option. Though he felt like something was missing from his life, the Southern Gay Scientist didn't start to realize what it was until he hit college, and a lot of things started to fall into place. Now, in a long committed, and recently-ish open relationship of more than a decade, we talk about opening up without premeditation, how they have navigated this, and how it feels to be able to call someone home.
