On December 8, 1941, Bob Brown, a 17-year-old U.S. Army Medic found himself in the middle of a Japanese military attack just hours after Pearl Harbor. The devotion is based on this historical event and is grounded on the words of Jesus found in Matthew 28:20. Jesus said at the time of the Ascension, "I am always with you even to the end of the age."
