We're back with Margie Florimbio, and I am still just glowing about our first episode which I am considering was introduction to Reiki and Welcome back. Thank you. This is so much fun. I appreciate your time It is really really fun. And I hope that you will have your own podcast sometime and then you'll get a chance to talk to people that are in this spiritual realm and to let people out in the world know about what it's all about because you have an awful lot to share and I appreciate it You're sweet james. Thank you. I appreciate it. And so in between our Recordings we talked about personalized directed Reiki, and that is not, oh, I just want you to do a general thing on me. now it's focusing in on something. Correct. Who decides where the directed efforts are going? I think it's a, it's a group kind of energy. When you come for your first Reiki session, you never know what you're walking into, you never know what you're going to get. And, you know, the Reiki practitioner is just kind of feeling around. When you set up kind of the energetic circle of coming back to a specific healer, time and time again, you're trusting that healer more. And so the energy can go a little deeper. And it starts, you're kind of letting those veils down so that the Practitioner can kind of get in there and feel and see and touch more. And I see so this is really not it cannot be done in in the initial No, the first time clears for me. I don't I don't even put a time limit on my clears my theory with clearing is i'm not one 45 minutes and it's so much for an hour My theory is you're paying me to clear you, and if that takes me 20 minutes, which they never do great. If it takes me two hours, great. I'm going to go in there to ensure that you are clear when you get up off the table. And what does that mean, clear? It means all seven of those major chakras are firing. The auric field is nice and high. I've got you rolling in that energy, and you're vibrating at a good frequency. I don't want any stagnant energy and sometimes I can't get them clear and I'll tell the clients I got you rolling better than you were and I usually show them at the end, I show them at the beginning at the end with the pendulum where their energies, their baseline was and when they're cleaned up and I'll say, I got you rolling, but watch, it's going to go down at your solar plexus and slow, that energy will slow down that spin. So they get that now once you get into it, it's The first one is just a general kind of what I teach my students, it's triage. Where are the chakras bleeding out the most? Right, right, right. Which is a horrible comparison, but it's true. No, but this is a person that has not been treated. Right, exactly. And you don't know how long these things are festering. Once they return to you, the trust is built. And then you can direct the energy of the Reiki. So, for example, let's say it's showing their body, their energy system of their body is showing real kind of energy systems where there's some real inner child wounds and inner child trauma. You could read that with a good Reiki master. You can read it out of the hands. You can read it out of the feet. The whole energetic system. You'll find it. So, I will not only give my clients maybe some packets to do that help connect to the inner child. I might offer some books or some podcasts or some YouTube videos that will help connect with the inner child, some meditations. I'll give them all that. But then I might say, maybe in two sessions from now, once you've done, your side of the street, your inner work, I would like to direct the energy. And I would like to see if I can call up the inner child because sometimes I will see them pop up on the table That's usually a telltale sign that they want to be healed because they'll pop up and sometimes they hide sometimes they're very curious and then you can direct the energy to kind of reconnect to have the inner child show you Where their deepest wounds are and take you back to that kind of time and place Let's stop right there because that's that's a lot. Yeah that you talk. It is only one area of, of, of healing, the directed energy, energy is the inner child. Now, as I'm, I'm sitting in this chair, you're sitting in that chair and there were only two people here in this room, right? Physical body, right? I hope so. The other spirits here, but not only do human beings. And what you're saying is when you can see, The inner child. What do you mean by that? When the client is on the table during a Reiki session, certain things may or may not pop up. It depends on if the client's ready. So this will pop up into your mind? Yeah, sometimes. And sometimes I'll see like the shadow of the child. Sometimes I can You'll actually be able to visually see it. Yeah. They'll sometimes pop up. So you have Claire What do they call that when you can see things? Clairvoyance. Clairvoyance. Yeah, clairvision is clairvoyance. But you, you eventually, you have, my theory is you have one lead clair. And then the rest kind of trickle, trickle in the more healed you get and the more connected you get. And the more your trust grows with healing, feeling, seeing, smelling things that you can't physically touch, see, you know, that are not in this reality. Okay, because when I had my first and only so far past life regression. I was, it was a clear cognizance. I knew it. I knew it. And, and as I sit here and I think back on it, it's like, wow. And in a way, in my mind's eye, I could see things, but it wasn't visually out of my human eyes. Yeah. It was in my mind, but it was very clear. Yeah. And I could see that. So that would be kind of what you're saying is that you will either see it or it'll come in your mind. Correct. Some other way. Yeah. You will become aware as a practitioner. That there's a inner child. Or it could be a past loved one that has crossed over. I usually do a lot of my Reiki healing with my eyes closed. Cause I'm trying to stay in a meditative state, but I'll feel the energy shift. And I'm like, Oh, and then sometimes I'll open my eyes. I don't often, sometimes I'll see spirits, but not normally I have kind of. Guides in my Reiki healing room. Certain energies have to stay on one side. Certain energies, dead people have to stay on the stairs. Give me the message and get out. But the inner children, they'll just kind of pop up at the table. And sometimes I can actually see the shadow. But then I get a clearer vision in my In my mind's eye, in the third eye, and I will describe them, or the dead loved one that's crossed over, or whatever it is, it could be a guide, I've seen a lot of, energies, especially with some of my students, I'm like, I see your guide, and I will describe them, and then they're like, oh yeah, I've seen that person in a dream, or, oh, you know, that's so funny, you know, and it all kind of comes together. But you can direct these Reiki healing sessions to do an inner child reconnection where the inner child takes you to the most traumatic parts. And sometimes I've had clients that are like, holy crap, I didn't even remember that. Until we went there, but it makes sense and sometimes they're like, I knew that was bad. And then you bring, you love, you re parent, you re love that inner child and you do a reconnection with some of the Reiki symbols to seal that bond, to make that inner child feel more secure. You can also do it with past lives. You talked about having a past life regression. I've done past life regressions with the Reiki energy. We directed it and we set the intention of, I want to see what. This client's past lives are and why it's stopping them or holding them up where there's fear we have Weird fear that just came with us on this plane that is not always In this existence you'll have weird kind of Issues that you're like, I don't know why I have this innate fear of snakes or fire or whatever it is so you can reconnect the energy and redirect it to get the information you need Because sometimes in this lifetime things will bother us We're sometimes not even aware That it is bothering us. A hundred percent. And then sometimes we're really not aware that, well, this must be why I'm so anxious, for example. I have a lot of anxiety. Yeah. And it's like, well. Why am I so anxious? Yeah, and that was one of the things that we were hoping to see in the in my past life regression We just didn't happen this time. I mean, it's not a it's not a One time fix, but what you're saying is is that that in your in the Reiki? You're going to get a look. Yeah, you can direct the energy. Now, what I'm going to be shown, I don't know, because I'm not in charge of the energy. Reiki is in charge of the energy. So, but I've had very profound healings with that. And when you talk about some of it isn't ours, if you really do some research on, I think it's called epigenetics, there was a scientific study where they studied rats. And they basically had male rats. And I teach this in my Reiki One class. I showed the video of this. They had a male rat. that was bred, and he basically, before he was bred, he was shown, or given the smell of cherries and almonds, and they kind of shocked him, which isn't nice, so we have this fear response to the cherries. Okay. Well They bred him and all of his descendants had the same fear response, even though they were never shocked. So we often discredit that we come here with innate fears that aren't that may be ours, but I've traveled with us on the bloodline in the DNA genetic code. And people discredit that, that some of what you're battling. It isn't even yours. And I often send that video to a lot of my clients and my students because you really don't understand why you're afraid of water or why you're afraid. And some of it's past life and some of it's DNA. This is why poverty and codependencies, it will travel from addiction will travel. From bloodline to bloodline. And the science is finally kind of making the connections with the mental health aspects, the addictions, the things like that, that we also don't we haven't really hit the surface of the other things like anxiety and some of these like abundance issues will travel from bloodline to bloodline. It's more than just the mental health. Now you are not a beginner Reiki practitioner. No, not anymore, but I was at one time and I, know that you believe that all of us have the ability to connect up with spirit and connect with our higher selves and with spirit guides and people on the other side and that sort of talk a little bit about that would you yeah i don't believe that i'm special in fact i kind of get a weird cringy feeling when people say you're gifted or I need to develop my gifts. I don't view them as gifts. I think that this is our natural state and society and dogma and shame and all these other, the food and all this other rigmarole has watered that down. Indigenous people knew that this connection was there. Monks, Buddhist monks, Tibetan, they knew that this connection was there. They knew that it was bigger than just what. we're putting out there, go to work, eat, sleep, die, you know, it's not about that. There is a greater source energy. And I don't think like people call it new ageism. And when I worked in a lot of the metaphysical stores, you have your skeptics come in and say, Oh, it's just a new age or store. Well, it's not. new ageism. It's old wisdom with new students. We're relearning it. So I don't think it's about coming into your gifts. I think it's coming back into alignment with your authentic self. I think this is our natural state. There have been gifted teachers throughout history. Yeah. Spiritual teachers and leaders that basically were in touch with the spirit. Yeah. And I do think that it does travel on the bloodline. Like you know, sometimes it comes a little easier and a little fast and furious. And sometimes with denial and, trying to logic it away it It does get diluted. And some people can't dilute it if they tried. If it's really strong on your bloodline and it's really a part of your life purpose and your soul contract, you couldn't dilute it if you, if you tried, you couldn't dilute it. So you get all kinds of variances across the board. But yeah, the goal is to make you connected. I don't care what you do. I don't care what you. Define as your career. There's not a job out there where your intuition won't serve you. Period. Even in your daily life. Or a relationship. Yeah, 100%. You know, that whole trust issue and, and being divinely guided and protected have saved my ass on more than one occasion. And, you know, you're, you're at least aware of it. Yeah, 100%. It happens with a lot of us. Yeah. We're not aware that that thought that came in our mind, was Yeah, or sometimes the hard no. Cause then you think you're manifesting something and the universe is like, no. And you're like, what in the hell? Why don't you love the universe? Right. But then, you know, a couple months or a year down the road, you realize, Oh, that's why I didn't get that job. That the owner of that company was doing some really, you know, nefarious, illegal stuff. And I would have gone down with the ship. Like you don't know the big picture. I often think of thank Garth, Garth Brooks. I thank God for unanswered prayers. Sometimes we don't realize not getting what we want is hugely divine protection. Let's go a little bit more into some of the other areas that you can work with in your Reiki. we talked a little bit about the child or the inner child and that I would define that as. Something that happened in this lifetime that was trauma. And it could be a perceived trauma. Perception is not always reality. I mean, it could be mild as my parents worked three jobs and they weren't emotionally available. Not because they were bad or abusive. They just couldn't physically be there. But the inner child. views that as there's something wrong with me. Why am I not lovable? And that's not necessarily reality. Their parents were working two, three jobs because they loved the child. But perception is not always reality. So it doesn't have to be something horrific, although I have done some horrific healings where there's been Physical abuse, sexual abuse, you know, things of that nature, which is not easy. But it could just be your child needs to feel safe and loved. And, and sometimes it's, it's that, you know. Well, let's just touch base on that a little bit. I spoke recently with someone who was in, their family was very religious with a, with a particular religion. That caused harm to this person's siblings and where women were not valued and it was very difficult for them. That is a, harm that the parents were well intentioned. Mm hmm. They were not setting out to do anything But just raise their family and a good moral way fine upstanding religious beliefs But what happened was for this individual that it was very tough on them, correct and Let's say that there's somebody that's listening to this podcast that has been a victim either of a cult Or a group of people, well meaning people that really turned out to be harmful for them or a sexual abuse. Can Reiki help them? Yeah. I mean, Reiki and therapy. I'm a huge advocate for actual therapists. I love my therapist. I got her on speed dial. And I have another therapist that does other things too. But, you know, Reiki and therapy. It helps you face the energy that you have not. Been looking at and you don't understand how those lower frequencies of guilt, shame that radiate Off of the auric field, you know, I was a victim of sexual abuse and I carried that guilt and that shame for 30 years before I divulged. And I can't, when you're at a vibration of 20, 30 hertz, the healing frequency of love is 500. Abundance is above that. So how could I manifest abundance? And we're not just talking about money to pay the light bill, we're talking about, Love, bliss, abundance encompasses all of that, not just money. And so when you're vibrating for 30 years at a Hertz frequency of 20, of course my life was kind of crappy at that point. I couldn't manifest. I didn't understand. The universe speaks in frequency. It is literally numbers. I never thought that my dyslexic ass would deal with as many numbers as I do. Between numerology and Hertz frequencies. It's all number codes, the music, it's Hertz, the, the essential oils, it's Hertz, the crystals, it's Hertz. They all have a vibrant. Frequency that is a numerical code, if that makes sense. It makes Perfect sense. And you're cheating the frequencies. You're raising the vibration. The higher you vibe, like they said in the 60s, You're, you're high vibe man, you got a good vibe man. They kind of knew what they were talking about, because the higher your vibration, your personal vibration, your personal frequency, the better your life becomes on multi levels, on multi levels. Mentally, physically, spiritually, abundantly, you know, all of that. Okay. It is fascinating to me and so important that you, as a professional, Reiki practitioner and teacher and promoter of ancient Chinese medicine also are a strong advocate for conventional Western I am. I mean, I can't negate the fact that Western, you know, Big Pharm, Western Medicine has saved my life. I was a sickly kid. I have a weird blood disorder that I'm not supposed to be here. I was told I'd never have children. I almost died having both of them for different reasons. Western medicine has healed me, and I will never negate the healing powers that it has. Is there corruption in it? Yeah. You know, I'm not gonna say there isn't. I'm not naive. There's duality in everything. There's good and evil in everything. That's duality. But I think the best kind of healing practice is when the two of them come into alignment. Be it mental health, be it physical health, be it any type of health, I feel like the Reiki can only enhance the healing. I'm a recovering alcoholic and at the beginning of my recovery, which is some time ago, thankfully at the beginning of my recovery, there was a lot of messages in the AA program that I attended, which is, If you remain the same exact person, Mm hmm. you're going to go drink again. Mm hmm. You have to look at yourself and you have to figure out Why. how to live. Yeah. And why were you drinking? So, I vowed to make a change. And I went, luckily had a fantastic therapist and I worked hard at it. I worked hard. I faced a lot of things. I would never have been able to face those things without that counselor. Oh, yeah. And I am myself. Yeah. A strong advocate of that. I don't look at it as a weakness. No. To the contrary. No. I look at it as. I was brave enough to go forward and look at those problems that weren't my fault. I didn't create them. Inner child wounding! Trauma! I had that I was able to make significant progress of being able to feel my feelings in a lot of other areas. what you are saying is, is that can be augmented. Oh, a hundred percent. Significantly. By Ricky. Yeah. I love my therapist and in fact, we swap clients. I pass out her card just as much as she passes out my card. Isn't there something I've never heard of that? Oh my God. I love my therapist. She does believe in energy. She is a licensed C counselor. But when I go to her office and I say I had a weird dream, and it, it happened just as I saw it in my dream. She believes me. She doesn't doubt it. She does energy work herself. But she is a licensed therapist. And I truly believe that that is in the foreground. In fact, my whole family has seen her and my youngest is actually going to college. She said, I want to be like Tracy. I want to, and my youngest is also trained as a Reiki master. She was like, I want to merge the two. I want to help children at the youngest of age. And I want to use energy work and psychology to merge the two. And I was like, go, the world needs that. The world needs it. Yes, the world needs it. Thank you for speaking out. So strongly in favor of healing. Yeah. And there's so many different ways, none of us are getting out of here unscathed. We're all going to get traumatized in some way, shape, or form. And we don't compare trauma. Your trauma is just as traumatic to you as it is to me. It's never this, well, hers is worse or theirs is worse. No, it's trauma. It's how you're affected. Our physical and energetic body receives the information and we have to lower, get those lower frequencies out of there. And I don't care how you define healing. If it's Reiki, if it's therapy, if it's acupuncture, if it's Qigong, if it's past life regressions, they're all great kind of energetic tools to help move the energy. I would never advocate for one. But my goal is to help everyone kind of take away the negative hooey blooey of it and just try it. Just have it all in mind. Try it. And if, like I said, when I did my first Reiki session, if it was, I could honestly say it felt something and it did something, it would stay. And if it didn't, okay, some were one and done. They weren't for me. But it doesn't mean that they're not gonna help someone else down the road. Absolutely. and it's funny because you said I had to try new things. In Reiki I always say you cannot get new energy with old action. In order to change the energy you have to take a new action step. You have to step outside of your comfort zone. You have to do a different type of healing that you haven't done. And I get frustrated when I have clients that are like, Oh, I tried therapy. How long did you go? Two weeks. I didn't like the therapist. Okay, well, a therapist is just like a friend. Like, you have to connect with them. So you have to be open minded. And just because it didn't work one time doesn't mean they're all terrible. In talking about healing and in looking at what are the sources you had mentioned earlier about DNA and that DNA can be a source of, of a problem. I, I know that I used to work with families and with children young children who had been abused and they actually found that there's a real effect on the brain that this person is never going to be able to get rid of that because their brain has been changed. They're living with, that change I believe in reincarnation. I believe that, that we come back and that I believe that there's been so much study and so much proof. There's so much factual information that it's really not, is it true or isn't it true? It is true. It's been, it's been established. So if I'm gonna go from one life to another. I can have problems in this life that may affect me in my next life. Yeah, 100%. And, and does that ever come up to you when you have a patient on the Reiki table? Yeah. You can have weird, innate, physical pain. That you've had your whole life and you don't know why, like your knee always hurt or your hip always hurt from the time you were a small child, you can have innate weird fears of water or snakes. And when you're on a directed kind of Reiki session, you can direct the energy to figure out where that came from and often. It's not this life. Often, it's a couple lives ago. And so, with some of the Reiki symbols, there is a distance symbol. 22 steps long, it's a bear to memorize, it's a bear to write. I'm constantly counted down with my students. But basically, it's the distance symbol. And it's not just, I can send distance Reiki to my clients that are in New Jersey or Florida or wherever they are. It's I can send distance to my past lives or my future lives. It also thins the veil so that you can see past lives. And to a certain extent, to what you're allowed to know, you can see future lives and you can see where the energy is impacting. All of the lives, if that makes sense. It does make sense. Yeah, and so you can direct the energy and figure out why are those fears there? Why is that pain there? Oh, well, you know, in a past life, you drowned. And that's why you have this weird fear of water. And I saw you falling off a ship or whatever it is. But it can get really deep and really miraculous. And a lot of those birthmarks that we have on our physical body. They're usually telltale signs of a past life wound or injury and a lot of people don't make those correlations. If you really meditate over Some sort of birth marker or a weird scar that you were born with sometimes you can get the answers a good reiki Master can sometimes pull up the answers of how long how many lives it goes back and what it's correlated to when you've got someone that you're providing reiki services to directed services and you have something come to you as a practitioner that, that this perhaps happened in a previous life. How do you find people's acceptance of that? Not everybody is a firm believer in past lives or future lives or anything like that. Well, how do you handle that? Well, once I'm going into directed Reiki sessions, that's usually an established client and there is the established trust between me and that client. So they already know that I kind of speak that wackiness already. They knew what they were getting in. But beyond that I mean sometimes when I'm doing readings and it comes up because I read for a lot of metaphysical stories I read crystals and I do numerology and sometimes it'll come up in that and my theory is if I'm given the information I need to relay it. It's not my message. I am the messenger and they work through me. I know nothing. I am told, shown, given a puzzle piece and I'm trying to put together the puzzles. And I just kind of verbally vomit whatever I get. And my, I used to be all, you know, in the beginning I don't want to seem like the wacko. But now I'm like, whatever. The universe gave me the message. I'm going to just throw it out there and where it lands, it lands. And, and if nothing else, I like to have in my life, and I also like to create what I call brain bombs, where you plant the seed and it just ticks, ticks, ticks, ticks, and it gets kind of stuck in their head until the point where they really do some research on it. So maybe they won't kind of comprehend what I'm talking about. I see. That you have. A galactic kind of spirit guide. And that sounds weird that I'm saying that, but I know it's true. And then they're like that wacko lady, she told me I had a galactic spirit. What the hell does that mean? And then they Google it and then they research it and then they realize, Oh, maybe there is something to it. And then they'll come back and they'll say, you know, I did some research on that. I'm like, did you? What'd you find? Was it interesting? Because I don't want to push my beliefs on anyone else. I just kind of want to plant the seeds and see where they grow. Like you said, once you've worked with someone for a while, that level of trust develops, and then They can help themselves. Yeah. I'm not healing anyone. I am helping you to heal yourself. I am helping you to empower yourself. I am shining light on what has kind of been neglected and I'm saying, Danger Will Rogers, this knee pain is because, you know, but I'm not, I mean, I am using energy to move the energy and to release kind of the tension and give it more flow. You have to heal you. You have to take the steps to come to a Reiki practitioner or to go to therapy or go to acupuncture or whatever it is that is your choice of healing., I've always wondered about communicating with people on the other side. When I was a 16 year old bus boy in my first job, I had a chance to bring room service up to people in the hotel. Was a big thing for me. I prepared this table with the stuff. I rolled a rickety table up to this one room. And this, older lady was there. And I'm pretty good at striking up conversations. So, we struck up a conversation. She was too. And she told me that she was reading a book. Learning to talk with the world beyond oh, I've read that book hundred years ago. I know that book This is from the perspective of a little small town Catholic raised kid who's now venturing out into the world. Mm hmm. He gets this now to me that was spirit. Or blasphemy, depending on which religion you, you abide to. It was true, it was true. But that was, to me, that was spirit just planting one of those, those thought bombs. The seeds, yeah, those brain bombs, yeah. Brain bombs. That was spirit, planting a brain bomb in me to say, You're not ready to process it, perhaps right now, but think about it and it'll come to you and, and over time, yeah, it has. And so I got a chance to to do a podcast with two mediums and I got to know them and they had had spirit coming to them since they were children. And. I looked at YouTubes of children remembering past lives and that combination of a child and the world beyond, for me, signified reality. This is something that can be trusted. And so, I'm very interested and I believe strongly in the fact that there is a world beyond And there are spirits there that can communicate with us, and I'm wondering whether there's a time in your Reiki that that that type of issue comes up. Yeah. I do not Claim to be a medium, like some wise, beautiful women. I cannot just sit and talk and pull up loved ones that have crossed over. That's not my jam. There are beautiful souls that can do that. God bless. But I will. Pull up sometimes if, if it's needed, again, Reiki energy goes where it needs to go. A loved one that has crossed over and they will have a message or two. Usually it's only a quick little message or sometimes it's an emotion that I will feel pride or sadness or confusion or something. Sometimes it's more descriptive. You know, I've had clients on the table where I told one of my friends slash client, I was like, there's something that your mother wants you to know about a hutch. And it's, you know, and I described the hutch, I said, there's something in the lower drawer that she wants you to have. And I didn't know. Okay. But the client was actually going back, they don't live in this country, they were actually going back to their country to remove the mother's furniture who had crossed over. So sometimes you'll get beautiful messages. I've also had, where I kept seeing the, loved one kind of vibrating in and out and in and out and in and out and I, I got the description of her, but I was like, I can't, she's not speaking, but it's in and out and it's in and out. I don't understand what's going on, but I know that it's a grandmother. And I know that it's on your mother's side and she, she's going in and out. I couldn't get any messages. And the client, when I gave her that message at the end, she started hysterically crying and she said, unbeknownst to you, I'm actually going to see my grandmother. She's in hospice. She's only got a few days left. So she's in between the veils. She also has Alzheimer's. So she doesn't know, you know, knee deep dementia, Alzheimer's. She doesn't know whether she's in this reality or not. So you can get some really profound. information and healings. I've also seen angels that are protectors. I've seen guides. We have a whole team of crew that we don't even know is working on our behalf. So sometimes Each of us. Yeah, all of us, all of us. And sometimes they're ancestors, sometimes they've never been living. They're just there to help and, and Keep us moving and keep us on the right path. So yeah, and sometimes they're galactic. I hate to be that wacky one, but sometimes they are. So sometimes I'm describing some weird energies, but you know, people take it with what they need to take it and they get what they need to get. I'm just the messenger. So yeah, you can pull up a lot of different kind of energetic systems and entities. But they're all good. It's always been for their highest good. It's nothing to be afraid of per se. But yeah, you'll see different guides and some you may know and some you may not and different kind of loved ones that are crossed over. Some you may know and some you may not, angels, all kinds of energy. These are things that Are part of the Reiki practice they can if you go deep enough They can be if you go deep enough and that trust is there with your healer. It's never my goal to have lifelong clients It's my goal to get you to understand your own energy and to understand your own frequency And then just kind of come to me when you need a little spit and polish so to speak No, I understand. This is not a How can I provide income for myself? Yeah, it's, it's about, I want to teach you about your energy so that you can heal you. And like I said, 80 percent of my clients become my students. So that's an honor, that they feel.
