Fix the World

Episode 3, What Is an Educated Person?

Doug

An educated person is one who knows what's more important and what's less so, and lives accordingly. What is most important? To achieve fully the eight Millennium Development Goals: End hunger and poverty, establish universal education, and gender equality, reduce child mortality, improve maternal health, fight HIV, malaria, and TB, achieve environmental sustainability, and form a global partnership for development. How can we know this is the highest priority? Because the vote at the UN General Assembly in 2000 approving the Millennium Development Goals was unanimous. Why have these Goals not been achieved? Because they weren't taught, not in school, college, church, synagogue, or home. How can we fix the world? By achieving fully the Millennium Development Goals. And how can we do that? By encouraging people everywhere to listen to this show. Remember, I don't get paid, and I'm not selling anything. I have no ulterior motives. I'm just here to tell the truth because it's not being told, at least not truthfully. And the truth will fix the world.
