Air treatment products with air purifying technology have been growing in demand in recent years. The global air purifiers market registered 6 percent year on year growth, reaching 20 million units in 2018. High levels of indoor air pollution across major cities have been an important factor driving this demand. However, consumer concerns of other health risk factors that are not necessarily pollution-related, such as allergies, have been another driver of sales growth in this category.
