Doc Mac...the myth, the man, the legend. Husband, Dad,  37-year Veteran spanning Coast Guard, Navy, Air Force, rescue swimmer, avionics, search and rescue, and Emergency Medicine guru for 20+years...and still going strong. He loves to learn, loves to teach, and hates bureaucracy and bullshit. His entire career has been one transition after another, and is also what keeps his life interesting.

Dee Tox and MZ were able to nail him down and talk about his unconventional journey to becoming a physician, his thoughts on nurses, the struggles he saw and dealt with during COVID, when he is the calmest, getting kicked out of training, life after the military, and what makes medicine most enjoyable. Listen to the end to hear a few of his more interesting ER escapades.
