In this episode we attempt to pair wines with Filipino food, specifically Chicken and Pork Adobo! Jason was very excited to do this episode as it ties in with his Filipino heritage. The wines that they tried to pair with the Adobo were a 2019 Smart Grenache, S.C. Pannell, Clarendon, South Australia ($63 at Prince Wine Store) and a 2022 Primavera Pinot Noir, Stefano Lubiana, Derwent Valley, TAS ($40 from Dan Murphys). During the episode Jason explains why the Philippines is not known for wine, and the alternative wines they produce. Trent tests hyper-decanting on-air and the results were surprising!
