Metamorphosis occurs when we mourn our losses, release the shame of who we are NOT, and forgive ourselves and others. The metaphor of the butterfly transformation emphasizes the idea that personal growth involves discomfort and a willingness to let go of the familiar. It symbolizes the courage to embrace change and the potential for a more vibrant and expansive existence.
