Speaker 0:

Hello and welcome. Today I'll be discussing fear. When you know the purpose that God has outlined for you, you have prayed over it, but time and time again, you're not able to just arise and do it. You're gripped with fear because of the overwhelming purpose that God has put inside of you. That is so similar even for me. I've been going through a journey where, yeah, I do understand that I'm supposed to pray and pray online, but the reality is I've just been gripped with being overwhelmed. I've been unable to just sit down and do what I actually enjoy doing, which is communication with God, and this is true prayer. And so, to be honest, really, I've just been afraid. Today I've just been reminded.

Speaker 0:

As I read through the Bible, I was reminded of Isaiah 41 and verse 10. Isaiah 41 and verse 10 says do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. So this is something the Lord has spoken to me before about.

Speaker 0:

But today I just woke up with this overwhelming fear of the unknown. I couldn't explain it, I just sat back and asked myself so what is God's promise for me, and God's promise for me is in Isaiah 41 and verse 10, where God says do not fear. So God knows that I have fear, you have fear. God knows that. And then he continues to say do not be dismayed. He knows that we get dismayed, we get overwhelmed with so many things, and he's telling us don't, do not. And that is because he is my God, he is your God. And so what are the three promises that God is telling you that he will do for you, even in the midst of walking through your journey, walking through your life's purpose is one that I will strengthen you, that God will strengthen you. Two I will help you. And three I will uphold you. And then he continues to say how will he do this? It is with my righteous right hand. So even for you today, as you're feeling overwhelmed by the circumstances of life, by your work, by your, by your fathers, by your family, by your children, things are just overwhelming for you and you just don't know. When you're gripling with fear, fear of the unknown, you can't quite put an emotion to it. God is reminding you this today that he will strengthen you, he will help you and he will uphold you with his righteous right hand.

Speaker 0:

So, as we pray today, join me in this prayer of agreement to say yes, god, I am afraid and dismayed, but I stand on your promise. I stand on your promise that you're strengthening me. I stand on your promise that you're helping me and I stand on your promise that you're upholding me with your righteous right hand. So let us pray, our Father and our God. We thank you. We thank you for your promises, which are in your word. We thank you that your word today, in Isaiah 41 and verse 10, knows that we are afraid and we are dismayed by the circumstances that surround us.

Speaker 0:

Mighty God and mighty Redeemer, I ask you this day, o God, that you will go such the hearts and the minds of the people listening, even today and in the days to come, o God, that indeed you will speak to them and tell them that you're strengthening them, that you're helping them and that you're upholding them with your righteous right hand, just as you did for me. And so, father, I look up to you because you are my help, O God, and you are our help, o Jehovah. God, and even as we are here, o God, we acknowledge that you are our God, that we acknowledge that you say that you are, I am your God. You say that you are my God. And so, father, as we walk through this life, o God, we know that you are our God and we know that you do acknowledge our fear enough, the fact that we are dismayed.

Speaker 0:

But yet, god, you rise up and you say that you're strengthening us, that you're upholding us and that you're helping us with your righteous right hand. And so, father, I invite you, o God, not only in my life, but in the life of everyone who is listening, o God, that indeed you're strengthening us this day, you're helping us this day and you're upholding us, o God, with your righteous right hand. So, father, have your way and indeed, dispel every fear that is resident inside of us, o Lord, god Almighty, because you are our Lord and you are our God and Father. Indeed, even as the song says that we are no longer slaves to fear, because we are children of God, I am a child of God. That is indeed the promise I'm walking out of with today, that I am our child of God. And so, father, thank you for upholding me, thank you for strengthening me and thank you for helping me with your righteous right hand. I bless you, o God, and I pray all this, believing and trusting in Jesus' name.
