PURPOSE GOD'S WAY- Journeying Life with God's Unwavering Help

Mercy delves into the spiritual support available to us in times of doubt and uncertainty. We are reminded of the comforting words in Psalms 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." This verse assures us of God's unwavering help in troubled times, giving us the courage to face our fears and pursue our dreams.
 
 In the journey towards achieving our dreams, we often encounter various forms of trouble. These troubles can take many forms, from resource constraints to skill deficits, to self-doubt. However, we are reminded that nothing catches God by surprise. He is our refuge and strength, our ever-present help in times of trouble.

We are encouraged to run to God in these times of trouble. To trust in His strength and guidance as we strive to actualize our dreams. As we turn to Him, we can draw from His strength, knowing that He is our ever-present help in times of need.

Hello. There is a quote that says if your dream doesn't scare you, then it's not big enough, and many of us have believed this quote. Many of us have been unable and crippled by the thought that their dream is actually very big enough and they're not able to move or even establish that which is in their hearts. So today I have good news, and the good news is our Lord, the giver of dreams, is the one who will help you to establish that dream, and he says that he is our ever present help in time of need. So don't be afraid to dream, don't be afraid to take on that which the Lord has stored inside of you for you to be able to impact your environment, your family and the nations at large. I've also been afraid of my own dream. Sometimes it actually makes me not be able to move forward. But there are times when I think about what this dream entails, I get excited. It no longer scares me, but it builds inside of me excitement. Excitement to be able to go out and pursue the dream. Excitement to be able to put my thought, my heart and my mind into this dream and to see what the actual outcome of the dream will be their excitement to fail and to fail forward. So these are some of the things that make me know that, indeed, my dream is worth pursuing. So go on and pursue your dream. Go on and allow yourself to pursue your dream, to put your dream to test, to put your skills to test, to put your work to test.

And I will be reading from Psalms 46 and verse 1, which says God is our refuge. And strength, mighty and impenetrable to temptation, are very present and well proved help in trouble. And that is the amplified classic version. Now the NIVI says God is our refuge and our strength and ever present help in trouble. Many of us are not able to actualize our dreams because sometimes we're actually in trouble Different troubles, different phases of our lives and God is reminding us that he is our ever present help. And so what do we ought to do? We ought to run to him because he is our refuge and he is our strength. And nothing catches God by surprise. Yeah, it catches us by surprise, but it doesn't catch God, almighty, by surprise.

And so if you're out there and you're feeling like your dream is indeed too big and it is scaring you and you're not able to move, because there are resources you need, there are skills you need, there are talents you need. The Lord is saying to you arise and walk, he will help you because he is your ever present help in time of need. So turn to God and allow him to help you. Run to him, for he is your refuge and he will give you strength. So he is strength and he will give you strength. So run to him.

And so, as we pray this day, let us make a prayer of agreement that our Lord is our ever present help in time of need. Let us pray Our Father and our Lord. We come before you this day, we thanksgiving in our hearts, oh God, because of the dreams that you have put inside of our hearts. This dream sometimes is scary and sometimes they hinder us from moving forward. And yes, lord, we have believed in the narrative of the world, the narrative that says if your dream does not scare you, then it's not big enough. We have allowed the scared thoughts to enter, the scary thoughts to enter our hearts and our minds, crippling us from moving forward.

And so, father, today we are running to you, you who is our God and our strength, our ever present help in time of need.

We are turning back and we are saying, god, we do not know how to be able to implement or to do this dream, or to carry out these things that you have put inside of us, but what we know is that we have a God who is ever present in time of trouble. And so we are running to you, oh God, and we are saying help us, help me, father, because you have stood the test of time, you are true and faithful that you will do it again. And so, father, we thank you because of your word and we thank you because of the dream that you've put inside of us. So continue to enable us to pursue this dream, continue to enable us to walk not in fear, not in scary thoughts and crippling ideas and thoughts, but in freedom, in power, in love and in sound mind, knowing that you are our ever present help in time of need. Lord, we thank you and we honor you, for we pray all this, believing and trusting in Jesus name, amen.
