PURPOSE GOD’S WAY- “Being directed by God as you pursue Purpose”

Many a times we walk through life seeking all forms of advice, clues to help us know if we are on the right path. We also know based on the results we get as we apply ourselves in the areas of our calling be it at work, in a project, at home/family whether we are on the right track.

Join me as I share how God's word has helped me know the direction I ought to take at any given time of my Life as the scripture says in Psalms 119:105 KJV- Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Today we shall be praying over being directed by God as you pursue Papas. Many a times, as ever as I have pursued Papas, I have seen that I often look for clues, advice from people I study my life to be able to see is this the right path in which God desires for me to be at, be it in my workplace, my family, any project that I may be doing? I often try to look for signs that then affirm me that I am on the right path. There are times I'm not so sure if I am on the right path, but there are times that I'm always certain that I am on the right path. The scripture in Psalms 119, 105 in the KJV version the word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path always is my encouraging scripture. I often look to God to direct my path and my purpose as I navigate life. In this scripture we are able to see that number one, through His word, which is the word of God in the Bible, you are able to get direction for your purpose. And number two, as you read His word, then this word directs you and I as it acts as a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. You hear this light. You're holding a lamp and you're using it to illuminate, to give you direction. That is the same way the word of God is. It illuminates us that as we walk, as we take a step of faith, then God is indeed illuminating that path to give us clarity in our hearts and in our minds that yes, this is the direction that God wants me to go, yes, this is the path that he desires. And as soon as we sway out of it, it becomes dark and you know in your heart that this is not where I ought to be. I ought to come back to the place of His word. That then illuminates light and I'm able to walk with full confidence, knowing that God is the one directing me. I encourage you to read the word of God daily, to meditate upon it.

Joshua, chapter 1, verse 8. It says keep this book of the law always on your lips, meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. The word of God is encouraging when we read it, meditate upon it, keep asking Him Lord, am I in the right path? And he tells us yes, you're there and you keep moving, you keep pushing, despite the circumstances. We are reminded that we shall be prosperous and successful. So today we shall make a prayer of agreement and ask the Lord, god, direct me in my path, the desires that you've put inside of my heart, that I may be able to be a faithful steward of them, and that I may desire to read your word, to meditate upon it, to get the direction of it, that, indeed, at any given time, I am doing the will of God, not my will, but your will, lord.

Let us pray, our Lord and our God. We thank you. We thank you for your word, for your word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. We thank you that, indeed, we have a reference and, across reference, a Bible, the word of God that can help us to know if we are walking in the right path of our direction.

Father, we continue to pray, oh God, that you will give us the desire to read your word, desire to meditate upon your word, just as you told Joshua to let the book be in his lips all the time, that he meditate on it day and night. That that is our desire this day, and, father, we pray that you will guide us, oh God, that you will illuminate our paths as we walk through them, oh Jehovah God. Father, we bless you, oh God, because we know that you are life and you are light. Father, we pray that, indeed, as we continue to pursue purpose, oh Jehovah God, that it is you who is guiding us, it is you who is enabling us, oh God, and it is you who is telling us this is the way you walk.

In it, father, we bless you, oh God, and we glorify you because you are our Lord and our God. You are the one who helps us, you are the one in whom we run to and indeed, you show us the way. And, father, help us, oh Jehovah God, as we partner with you. Father, help us to be able to read your word, where we are able to have this confidence that this is what the word of God says, and so we are able to walk. We're able to walk in that word and by faith. Father, we pray all this, believing and trusting in Jesus' name. Amen, anything goes.
