Speaker 1:

Hi, today I'll be meditating and speaking on grace. When we read through the New Testament, apostle Paul signs off most times in his letters that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, be with you. This was how he signed off most of his letters to the churches. As he sent the letters to them. As believers and as Christians, we often say that the grace of God is with us. Then that is where we are able to do certain things. 1 Corinthians, chapter 15 and verse 10, says but by the grace of God, I am what I am, am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. So grace is something that is given to us by God and it enables us to do the things that we do. And some people say that you graciously do certain tasks easily, while others struggle with the same tasks. Yet in this letter to the chorus it says yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me, meaning that Apostle Paul was given a certain kind of grace for him to be able to carry out a certain task, and so even for us, sometimes, as we go through life, we have graces, and God has graced us for us to be able to accomplish certain tasks, and whereas sometimes we feel weary and we struggle, we know that the grace of God is sufficient.

Speaker 1:

Hebrews 13 and verse 25 says Grace be with you all. And Romans 11 and verse 25 says grace be with you all. And Romans 11 and verse 6 says and if by grace, then it cannot be based on works. If it were, grace would no longer be grace. Therefore, we attribute this grace through Jesus Christ, the one who died on the cross for us. Then, through him, we are able to receive this grace, grace which is apportioned to us, given to us by God himself, and so we are often urged to then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. There is a receiving of mercy and there is the finding of grace to help us in our time of need.

Speaker 1:

So, today, go out there and receive the grace of God to help you in your time of need, to be able to enable you to accomplish everything that you set out to do, and so let us pray today that indeed we shall find grace to help us in our time of need. So, father, we are gathered here before you to just say a prayer. Even according to your word in hebrews, chapter 4 and verse 16, it says that let us then approach god's throne of grace with confidence. And so we are standing before your throne of god with the confidence that you have accorded us, which is in you and through Jesus Christ, our Savior, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need, god Almighty, help us, o God, to receive mercy and to find this grace that will help us in our time of need. Father, we want to thank you, and I personally want to thank you because many a times you have given me the grace to be able to do different tasks, and I may not have said thank you enough, but today I choose to say thank you because I have found grace to be able to do the certain tasks that you have enabled me, grace to be able to do the certain tasks that you have enabled me.

Speaker 1:

And so, father, today I come to you again, asking that may I find grace to help me in my time of need, as I embark on this day and in the various days to come, may I find the grace of God to be able to help me during my time of need.

Speaker 1:

To be able to help me during my time of need. Thank you, father, for apportioning enough grace for me to go through the day, and thank you, god, even that every season and every time there is grace given to me. So may I always remember to find grace to help me in my time of need. So thank you, jesus, that in you I have grace. In Christ alone there is grace, and so, god, I bless you that I am able to take on this grace that only comes from your throne room. Thank you, father. Oh God, I may not understand what grace fully is, but I pray that, by the empowerment of your Holy Spirit, I will receive grace, and this grace will give me better understanding as to what you desire for me to do. So I receive grace this day to help me in my time of need. Thank you, father, and thank you, lord Jesus, for we pray all this, believing and trusting in Jesus name. Amen.
