Is One Really the Loneliest Number?

There was a song by the group “Three Dog Night” titled “One is the Loneliest Number.” If you’re single and childfree, there may be a moment from time to time when you do indeed feel alone, when you wish there was someone beside you to share the ups and downs of life. In a world that seems to be built for couples and families, that’s not an uncommon feeling, even when you’re generally happy, content, and thriving in your current lifestyle.

But being alone is not the same as being lonely. And one is not the loneliest number; in fact, it’s the most powerful number!
