Sept 5. Day 248- Faith Comes by Hearing the Word of God -Romans 10:17

Romans 10:17 - 
“So  faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”

Good morning, everyone. I want to welcome each and every one of you to another episode of our EBC Prayer Podcast. Remember, I am your host.

I am Dr. Victoria Haddad, the first lady and co-pastor of Elyon Bible Church Apostolic in New Jersey. We want to rejoice and give God praise, because God has been good. He's a wonderful God and a faithful friend.

He would do more for us than we can even do for him. Our scripture today will be taken from Romans 10 verse 17. And it reads, If you want to have faith today, God is reminding us that faith cometh by hearing, and we just got to hear what the Lord is saying to us.

So let us pray. Father, we thank you for another day. Lord, we thank you for your grace and your mercy.

We thank you for your loving kindness. We thank you for reminding us that you are a faithful God, a God who can do more for us than we can do for ourselves. Lord, we thank you for encouraging us, motivating us, and helping us to see that, God, there's so much we can accomplish if “we learn to have faith to you, because you have been a faithful God.

And like the sun rises in Jesus, all our faith is in you. We can thank you for our yesterday, our past. Thanks, God, can be past that's not of you if we just have faith in you.

Lord, we thank you for hearing our prayers. We thank you for bringing us together one more day to pray. We thank you for your loving kindness.

We thank you for reminding us of all that you have done for us and continue doing in our life. And so Lord God, we are praying today. And we are asking us, you Lord, to help us to be people of faith.

People who come to hear the word of God. People who are not afraid to pray. People who are not afraid to surrender to you so that your will can be accomplished in our life.”

“Lord, we thank you for this day. And as we go through the remainder of this day, Lord, we are asking for your protection. We are asking for your guidance.

We are asking, Lord, that you uplift us and encourage us and help us to have faith, hope in you, our faith to be established in you. Oh God, confident in you. Help us not to give up on the God we serve, who is a wonderful Savior.

This, Lord, is somewhere that says all our sins can be forgiven. Everything that we have done and said that was not pleasing to you, Lord, we can know that you are able to remove it from us. Forgive us, God, and help us, Lord, God, to not give up on praying, not to get weary and tired in praying, but to remember God, our faith is in you.

Oh, God, and we want to get to that place where you are pleased with us, Lord, God. And so we thank you for reminding us that faith come by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Let us hear your word, God.”

“Let us apply to your word, God. Let us surrender to your word, God. Help us, Lord, God, not to drift away from you, not to get caught up into our words, but to get caught up into your words, God.

Not to get caught up in the things of this world, but help us to get caught up in you. Lord, you know the plans you have for us. You know, God, the desire of your heart for us.

And so, Lord, God, we are praying for help. We need to be more like you. We need to be faithful.

We need to surrender to you because you are a faithful God. You are God who will never give up on us, a God who will never forsake us, never let us down. And so, God, we thank you for reminding us today of your faith.

Thank you for reminding us to keep on praying. Thank you for reminding us, God, that we can accomplish more than we thought possible if we have faith in you and trust you. Take you at your word.”

“Let your will be done in our life. Oh, Father God, we thank you for your wonderful mercies. We thank you for your great reminder of your faith.

Help us, Lord God, not to give up on you, but Lord, to keep on praying. Father, we are praying for everyone who are listening to this podcast today. We are asking God for your will to accomplish in each and every one of our lives.

Help us, Lord God, not to doubt you, but to believe that we serve a God who can do more than we could ever ask or think of. We serve a faithful God who has not given up on us, who has not let us go. But God, all our hope, like the songwriter said, can be in you, God.

And we are praying for confident in you because of your faith towards us. Oh, God, help us to have faith even when things are not going right. Help us to have faith even when we don't see God the solution for issues.

Help us to have faith in you even when life not turning out the way we planned. Help us, Lord “to keep on praying. Keep on trusting you.

Keep on believing that we serve a God who can do more for us than we could ever think of. Lord, we thank you for this day that you have made. We thank you for reminding us of your faith.

Reminding us that God, if we listen to you and to your word, God, we will hear and we will know and we will understand the faith that you have towards us. Help us, God, not to doubt you, but to keep on praying. Show us, Lord, like the sun rays of what you can do for us.

Oh God, because all of our hope can be found in you, Jesus. And Lord, we thank you for reminding us that prayer works. Reminding us to keep on praying.

Reminding us to keep on trusting you. Reminding us not to give up on you, but to have faith in you. Lord, help us, God, to hold on to you more stronger than ever before.

Have faith in you more stronger than ever before. And surrender to you more now than ever before. Help us, Lord, not to give up on you because “And surrender to you more now than ever before. Help us, Lord, not to give up on you because you have not given up on us.

And so Father, we thank you for everything. And we thank you for this privilege to come before you. We thank you for this privilege, God, to call upon your holy name.

We thank you, Lord God, because you have not given up on us. So help us not to give up on you. And so Father, we thank you for everyone who are listening to this podcast today.

Keep us praying. Guide us, God. Keep us surrendering to you and trusting you because you are a good God and a holy Savior.

We thank you. Hallelujah, Jesus. Thank you.

Hallelujah. For another day of prayer and help us to have faith in you. Hallelujah.”
