We talk about how weather dictates the outcome of some tests in the field. You can get the values to change with just using a heat gun on the part you are testing. Why do we even test bushings? What do they use that data for? We go over some recent substation explosions that made the news in Utah and New York. What would be an acceptable time for a power outage to be considered "just a flicker"? It was just a flicker, no big deal!

Reminder:
Working with Lightning is partnering with Line Brother's Keeper on a fundraiser for their foundation. We will have a drawing on August 25th (Zach's burn-anniversary). To be entered into the drawing you go to https://linebrotherskeeper.org/  and press the button right at the top that says Working with Lightning Giveaway. For every $25 you donate your name will be entered into the drawing.

Grand Prize: Wooden hooks handmade by Zach

Runner-up: a 20-QT cooler stuffed with two tumblers, koozies, zipper bag, hard hat stickers and more.

3rd Place: will receive a care package from Working with Lightning.
