Lina Slim:

Are you doing obstacles like around animals like pythons and Alligators and mosquitoes?

Omgitswicks:

and the mosquitoes gonna be there, volunteer or not, about that, they're gonna be there. They, they, the non-pay volunteers they're gonna be there. What's happening everybody? This is the OMG is wicks show, episode 18. I'm getting better at this. In my memory I'm OMG is wicks. I got some guests with me. I'm gonna let my guy introduce himself first.

Manny Knoxx:

Oh man, he knocks. I'm back on these streets, I've been released.

Omgitswicks:

You can talk to women again.

Manny Knoxx:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm allowed to communicate. My mother missed me.

Omgitswicks:

Shout out to you, man, and we got a very special guest. Hopefully she come back more, but go ahead.

Lina Slim:

Lena slim. I'm very, very, very excited.

Omgitswicks:

It's a little situation situation. You know how we do it, but we are happy to have you. By the way, she already agreed to do some floatering with us, so we are. We didn't even have to cut on the camera first before she agreed to do floatering with us. Because you say you Gonna swim with the manatees. Yes, what about catch a python.

Lina Slim:

I'll let y'all do it. You know that I'll hold the net for you.

Omgitswicks:

We gotta put the hands on it. You know I'm saying we gotta, but so before we get into this, because we had, we had a discussion or we got, like Florida Corps, many came up with this Florida court thing and the first discussion he wants to have when it comes to this Florida court thing is which cartoon character Would you consider to be the most Florida? Now I have minds. I don't know if you want to go, if you want to go first you go first me.

Manny Knoxx:

Yeah, what's messed up is y'all gonna know him time up, but I don't know if I have his name right. So I think his name was Johnny from Eddard and Eddie who had the plank. Okay, what part of Florida? Oh, oh, somewhere real trashy, wow, maybe. Like I Definitely first thought of North Fort Myers. You see why they beat me with you Definitely see him in the backyard of North Fort Myers with his plank like Suncoast. Where's that? Oh, that's perfect. Yeah, I heard it was a wild kicker you out there.

Omgitswicks:

Remember the thing we saw, it been the little animal, little brown. They got a wild one out there, that guy, just one, yeah. But he's like the leader of some cats. Like he he has a cat army is a kicker to the leader of a cat army.

Manny Knoxx:

Oh, that's like a Pixar movie.

Omgitswicks:

That's what I'm saying. This is a Florida stuff. The Florida had a Pixar movie, all right, what about you?

Lina Slim:

So he Said what I was gonna say so yeah, I'm speeding up. So how about do you guys remember like Johnny Knoxville? No, it's not.

Manny Knoxx:

Johnny.

Lina Slim:

Johnny Bravo. Yes, that's.

Manny Knoxx:

I would give you that, I would give you that, I would give you that All right y'all right, I'll give you that.

Lina Slim:

Yeah.

Omgitswicks:

Johnny Bravo is one of my favorites. I love Johnny Bravo. He was smooth. He taught me how to talk to women. I wasn't successful when I was younger, I had a voice, exactly but you gave you the confidence like just keep trying, somebody gonna say yeah eventually. But Okay, so mines Donnie from the Wild Thorn Bears. I feel like you put him anywhere in Ocala okay. Or in the Everglades. I was thinking everglades and Donnie will listen. Donnie is Floridian. When I saw it I'm like he got a bit Floridian cuz.

Omgitswicks:

I know some people that act just like him. They can't talk and everything just like him.

Manny Knoxx:

So that remind me of what's his name Ben. He remind me of Ben. I bet your Ben was a little Donnie, I got a.

Omgitswicks:

I got a video of Ben jumping. I told you I got a video of Ben jumping across. Okay, so we went to Gatorama and we talked about Ben a lot, cuz Ben does a lot of wild things, but he's not one of the coolest people you'll meet. You got to go to Gatorama with us one time. He does hatch alligator eggs, but he has a video.

Lina Slim:

Where's this at?

Omgitswicks:

in Palmdale. Okay, it's right up out of the bell, okay, but he has a video of him jumping over the alligator but the alligator almost got him. But that ain't even the worst of what he does. If you Go visit him he makes you feel comfortable like he didn't have Rudy Feeding the alligator. Rudy say he would never do this and he had Rudy out there feeding like a 14 for alligator, inches away from the alligators many, many and took a picture. They was comfortable, so we guys on Gatorland.

Omgitswicks:

We did the Gatorland. Yes, I did. I went to Gatorland. They had me and I with the albino alligator and I was like, let me, let me get some, let me see my exit strategy, because I was the back Was to the wall, back was to the wall. So but yeah, no, we did Gatorland. But no, you definitely got to do some Florida, let's go to Gator, gatorama, but okay, so hold up.

Manny Knoxx:

But so for Florida court, I want you to vote in the comments like who's you you know? Who do you think picked the best Florida cartoon? Even I know what's gonna happen Y'all just gonna agree with wicks cuz y'all, that's what y'all do. I got a good way show and y'all just gonna agree with wicks.

Omgitswicks:

But man, I gotta go with whatever. I do like the Johnny Bravo win. Being from Miami and South Beach, I do. I do agree with it. I can see Johnny Bravo down there in Miami on South Beach. I can see him already. So I'm with it. I'm with it. Okay, that leads me to my question what do you think most of the transplants they move from floor, like, move to Florida from like what do they come from?

Manny Knoxx:

I want to say New York.

Omgitswicks:

Are you saying that because you're from New York?

Manny Knoxx:

Yeah, but that to me that's always a running joke when I hear about transplants is New Yorkers. I mean, I mean, you are up north, right, but I, for me, the most prevalent is New York.

Omgitswicks:

I can't even. I can't even say that, cuz I made a joke about New Yorkers being the most invasive species and they was Someone was cool like and I try to tell people like one of my, like my best friend is from New York. So you know, I'm sorry I get to get these jokes off, but no, but I can kind of tell, like you got the people that from New York that are not as sensitive, cuz you know, I know a lot of people from New York. I don't know why I'm like a New York magnet, like I just be out here living my Florida life and then New Yorkers just come and be like you know I'm gonna be cool with you.

Manny Knoxx:

So I'm not feel like you kind of prove my point. Well, that's why I think that's the one who the most triumphant transplants come from is New York. What do you think?

Lina Slim:

So we're right in between of Cuba and up north.

Lina Slim:

Okay and it's Cuba coming in and New Yorkers coming in. I will say I went to New York for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I kind of looked around. I'm not a city girl. I was like I understand why they come in to Florida, because the way that they live one on top of another store you know I'm on the 47th floor and shit like that like it's so much people I went into the subway and I'm like I'm not built for this. Yeah, no wonder y'all come to the South and this is just too much.

Omgitswicks:

I don't even know why they ride the subway. You gotta do is throw a saddle on one of them rats, cuz the rats are huge, I'm right. So you just throw a saddle right on One of a back and just ride them to your destination. Just put a GPS on a saddle on the rack. You ever seen them? Listen, somebody was posting a video of like a trash day in New York. Bro, the rats were coming out. I thought it was people crawling from under the trash and host slices of pizza. Listen, master splinters there, for real. Nobody can tell me, like nobody can't tell me nothing different. So y'all going, you said from Cuba.

Omgitswicks:

You said from New York. Yeah, definitely, I've been hearing about, like you know what, I've been seeing too a lot of people from Ohio, hmm, been coming to Florida. I've been seeing a lot of people from Ohio in Florida.

Lina Slim:

Yeah, I know a few you know if you call it the gloomy state right. It's always like kind of gloomy dark out there. I think that's.

Manny Knoxx:

Oregon. I like that. That sounds like the place for me.

Omgitswicks:

You think something that's in Seattle.

Manny Knoxx:

Seattle's like that too, because it rains a lot so you could be like Edward Edward. I Like Edward. I kind of like when my relationships end and I get into a new one because I have a reason to rewatch Twilight series. You do that. Yeah, yeah, any check. I think I've ever been when we watched Twilight. Oh you ever see.

Omgitswicks:

Twilight. No, for real. It's not your thing. You never saw it I like vampire stuff.

:

I watched it. I watched it With my kid's mother. I watched it.

Omgitswicks:

I'm not gonna lie to y'all I did it is corny or vampire stuff.

Lina Slim:

I mean I'm willing to watch it, but I guess I've never had somebody like, hey, let's watch it, or I'll be like all right, but definitely won't pick it on my own.

Manny Knoxx:

Well, that's the thing too. I feel like that's something that not a man would usually initiate.

Omgitswicks:

Oh, so that's your move, okay, so when I say my move is taking the girl, the women to the tenial part.

Manny Knoxx:

Yeah, I try to sell it like I'm making a joke. We should watch Twilight, and then they'll be like, like Lockman, you the one.

Omgitswicks:

Oh, he has a romantic side. Boy, you good man, I like it, okay, okay.

Manny Knoxx:

It's raining outside. We can't go out, man. What do we do Like watch Twilight?

Omgitswicks:

And then you look at her eyes and then bang like that, Because now she all of a sudden you got movie snacks in your closet and they're like oh wait, Throw in the notebook.

Manny Knoxx:

You roll out the tray. You know what I'm talking about.

Omgitswicks:

Pull out the notebook the notebook, the notebook.

Manny Knoxx:

I've never watched a notebook. I was.

Lina Slim:

I don't date white women. I'm not white and that's my favorite movie.

Manny Knoxx:

I've never watched it. And whatever you said about Twilight, that's what I do. Oh, you pull the notebook.

Lina Slim:

Oh, absolutely, get emotional, get the little tissue and I'm like why you don't do that for me what is.

Manny Knoxx:

How would you react? How would you react if he started crying during the notebook?

Lina Slim:

How would? You be honest, how would you feel and what type of crying is levels Like boohoo, booger crying or like?

Manny Knoxx:

No, no, just like, yeah, yeah, like, Let me hold it. Oh, I will love it.

Lina Slim:

I'm going to try, yes come here, give me a hug.

Manny Knoxx:

Because, like the last couple of females I've dated said I'm a punk for being emotional. No, you listen to.

Omgitswicks:

Drake, though it's not really about the crying.

Manny Knoxx:

It's more about like I express my emotions. I don't keep it to myself.

Lina Slim:

I feel that and it's okay for men to do it.

Omgitswicks:

Yes, it is.

Lina Slim:

And I feel like if you hold back, you're just going to be like more or aggressive and strong with your words, so I prefer emotion. Let's get it out.

Omgitswicks:

I'm going to throw it out of the book because I feel like we're right here in the conversation anyways, identifying red flags. So you ever been in a situation to where you like a person, you see the red flags but you ignore many ways because you, like you know what we can work through these red flags.

Lina Slim:

There's what this. Those are caution, there's like red flags. That's a caution, those are like yellow flags.

Manny Knoxx:

Keep an eye on them and see if they just in case they turn red.

Omgitswicks:

Okay, so just like to stop light. Yeah, we're going to keep going until you turn red.

Manny Knoxx:

Because you also don't want to turn it to the person that automatically you see something you're not comfortable with and like cut them off, like you might be cutting off a good person or a good situation, but you do got to be smart. Note that Put it. I'm going to put a pen in this. It's consistent and then let's talk about it. But I try to also cause like I'm not perfect, we're not perfect.

Manny Knoxx:

So I don't want somebody to make a quick judgment based off of a moment where I was trash. Yeah, I'm saying cause we're more than a moment, but like what is like a specific red flag that you dealt with recently.

Omgitswicks:

I got to think about it. I got one, okay.

Manny Knoxx:

Oh, I know you got one. No, that last situation. I knew all of the red flags are going in. I know you did, but I never experienced it You're making so I was just going to go for it.

Omgitswicks:

You just like I'm here. It's for the experience. It was for the experience. You got to do it for the coach Never again.

Manny Knoxx:

Never again, Well don't say that oh no it's not just based off of hers, it's based off of experience. I've seen other people's in the same situation.

Lina Slim:

Okay, so it's more than one situation.

Manny Knoxx:

Yeah, it was only one personal situation but I've seen other friend situations. I've been with it. You're making before. It's very, it's an aggressive thing, it's tough.

Lina Slim:

They're different.

Manny Knoxx:

So they're very they know what they want.

Lina Slim:

They're aggressive. I went to Jamaica and the men that were approaching me were very grabby, trying to get your attention. So I'll be walking and it'll be like hey, and I'm like what is going on, but they know what they want. You know what's? Something they told me multiple times while I was on vacation is stuck to me and I'm like I'm never dating on Jamaican, ever again. They say we never. Men never say no, even when we're married.

Manny Knoxx:

Oh oh, so I've rest my case.

Omgitswicks:

I rest my case, okay, well that's not a pleaser, that's a.

Lina Slim:

I was like oh, okay.

Manny Knoxx:

Hey, but shout out to everybody I still love Jamaicans. I'm so attracted to Jamaicans, oh my God.

Omgitswicks:

Yeah.

Lina Slim:

I'll go back, for sure.

Omgitswicks:

But what? Okay? So what are some red flags? I got it. I got to think about it.

Manny Knoxx:

I mean, I know some but I'm trying to like 36. So usually if I date somebody, it's a single mom, at least anybody age appropriate. So a couple red flags is like she always find and this is maybe messed up, but I keep an eye on it because you got to be smart but it's like wow, you have a lot of time to chill with me. Yes, and it's a weird balance because sometimes I'll date.

Manny Knoxx:

I was like damn you have no time to chill with me, but then on the other side it's like wait, you got way too much.

Omgitswicks:

You know who got a lot of time to chill with people who. I'm going to keep it to myself, why I'm going to keep it to myself. Yeah, I'm going to keep it to myself. You got to tell me after this I can tell you after, I can tell you after. But yeah, that's one red flag.

Manny Knoxx:

I've come across recently. What about you? What it was it?

Lina Slim:

has to be the car situation.

Manny Knoxx:

Can you be more specific? Yes, please. The.

Lina Slim:

I don't have a car right now, but I will be getting one soon. I'm just in a tight situation. And then in between and then a year goes by, and two years goes by, and three years goes by and you're just like what the oh, that's not a red flag, that's a burgundy flag.

Manny Knoxx:

But, you.

Omgitswicks:

you was willing to ride the fact that you was willing to stick it out.

Manny Knoxx:

Yeah, Because I'm going to give you about six months One of my, if that to get a car.

Omgitswicks:

what are we doing? One of my red flags is lying Like I don't like a lie.

Manny Knoxx:

Oh yeah, I see everybody's red flag.

Lina Slim:

I do not like a liar. What color of liar you don't like?

Manny Knoxx:

No, it's all. I don't trust no lie, it's a yeah, because once you start, to.

Lina Slim:

No there's like the liar, like when you cook something and it's not the best, and they lie like, yeah, that was good. You know that's a, that's an innocent lie. Yeah, no that that ain't gonna get cut off.

Omgitswicks:

Okay, you like lie about something major. Not even got to be major, but it could be something like like okay, I have family members that lie about the smallest thing. Like it could be like hey, did you just turn on the light? Like no, I didn't turn on the light, and it's like it's just me and you here. So it's like like when you just lie, just a lie, that's when I'll be like all right, I can't do this.

Manny Knoxx:

You don't believe in ghosts.

Omgitswicks:

And then they got a nerve to be like so you, what? What reason do? I got the lie to you and that is my point. You have no reason to lie to me, so that even like, those lies will like get to me, Cause it's like you have like, but that cause you don't really want to hurt people feeling. So even with me, um, I've learned to not be so direct. My problem is I'm very like, if you ask me a question, I'm going to answer your question.

Manny Knoxx:

Yeah, I was going to say it depends on the relationship.

Manny Knoxx:

So if it's just a friend, this, whatever. But if I'm with you in a relationship I don't even want you to lie about that I'm going to tell you, you're going to get to know me, you're going to, we get to know each other. So you're going to know, like you ain't got a lie and I got lie to you. So if it's, if it's something like that, I'm like, hey, look like let's die, like I don't want no lies at all. You go, you ain't going to hurt my feelings, go, and then then you keep doing it.

Omgitswicks:

Then to me, then that's weird Cause it's like bro, my issue is the line. So that's one of my biggest uh red flags that I've run into recently. Um is like lying, and that's like my big like just don't lie. Like we can figure out other stuff as long as you're honest, cause if I can trust you then we can figure out stuff. But like, if you lying, then it's like all right, I'm out of this. Cause. Now you, if you lying about this small thing, what else are you lying about? Or what are you willing to lie about? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yes, to protect whatever you're trying to protect. So that's my, that's my red flag. Um, so if y'all hop in my DM whenever I become single um, yo put some red flags in the comments.

Lina Slim:

Like himself before he's even single.

Omgitswicks:

You know what I'm saying? I'm not, even before you drop an album.

Manny Knoxx:

I want to say that because I don't know, no, I did, but I don't want to say anything. No, what's the whole thing?

Lina Slim:

Oh, you're for the streets already, right? Yeah, yeah, I'm for the streets, let's go.

Manny Knoxx:

Recently. Yeah, hey, whatever, recently. Whatever it is what it is.

Omgitswicks:

Well, he was out of the relationship for about a month or so, but he, just because you know what, you're out of the relationship, but you're not out of the relationship.

Lina Slim:

Yeah, because you're still in that, am I going back?

Manny Knoxx:

No, no, no. Am I not going back? I'm out of it. I mean the other party man that has been out of it.

Omgitswicks:

I'm 100% out of it. So he was out in his mind. But the other party was like nah, my boy, you ain't out yet.

Lina Slim:

But you got to make sure the other person is out of it too, because then it's going to create drama, because even though you're out, the other person don't know no they know the other person's going to cause drama. No, she knew Because there was no clarification.

Manny Knoxx:

No, there was 100. I said, hey, we done it's over.

Lina Slim:

Nothing to do with you. You should go back at any points and hunch.

Manny Knoxx:

Not in the time period that he's talking about. No, ok, no the time he's talking, no. So yes, it's been well over a month.

Lina Slim:

OK.

Manny Knoxx:

And I think for the past week it's gotten in her head that it's over.

Lina Slim:

Well, I'm sorry to tell you, but dating sucks.

Manny Knoxx:

I know.

Omgitswicks:

I'm finding out. I wish you had a friend that told you that this was a bad idea. All right, well you did.

Manny Knoxx:

Hold up, but all right so.

Omgitswicks:

I'm going to acknowledge you, Joe. You're that friend from me. You're that friend from me. Well, hold up.

Manny Knoxx:

But, didn't I tell you? I know this is a bad idea and I'm going to try it anyway. You did say that.

Omgitswicks:

All right, that's the part I was saying, but hold on I want to hear You're a risk taker.

Lina Slim:

I like that yeah.

Manny Knoxx:

Good things come with challenges. Absolutely, you don't get a Randy Maas unless you accept some BS. That's true, yeah.

Omgitswicks:

I'll give you that. That's a good one, that was a good one right there. I'll give you that. So.

Manny Knoxx:

I want to go back to something she just said. You said what did you say about dating?

Lina Slim:

It sucks.

Manny Knoxx:

Why.

Lina Slim:

I think for me, for me expectations.

Lina Slim:

My expectations are high. I'm in an age right now that I know what I want. I got my own house, I have a nice job, I got a nice car and stuff like that. So I want someone as equal as me and if it's a little less I don't mind it and stuff, because there's growth in everybody. But every time you date, everything is kind of sweet at the beginning and you're just like swept from your feet. You're like, oh my god, this is going to be perfect. Then all of a sudden you find out like they don't even got a license and you find out like, oh no, there wasn't three kids, it's actually six.

Manny Knoxx:

Then it's like oh you're a convicted felon. I don't want to interrupt you because you're making a mistake in some words you use, and this is sad. She said she has high expectations. Those aren't even high expectations, but it's so bad regular expectations are high expectations.

Lina Slim:

Listen a lot of people, when you date male and female, they're a whole different person. And then the moment that you just give them more of that, give them more of you and stuff, then you start seeing things and then you realize like you're so far in and stuff is kind of hard to get back out.

Omgitswicks:

You want to know what I told myself recently, Because I agree with that. Certain people like you'll go into something and they will show you the things that they want to show you, and when you're at the beginning, you're like you know what. But me, I'm a very skeptical person, so I'm always like watching everybody and what I've done recently is I tell everybody that dates me or that I get into a situation with I don't care how far we are in. Once I find out something that you've lied about or that you've covered up or whatever, I'm out. And I've been sticking to that. Like I will get out instantly, Like OK, so I see, this is this ain't right. You told me this, this happened, All right, I'm out and I've been sticking to that. So I don't care if we're dating for a year.

Omgitswicks:

If I find out some weird stuff, I'm out, I'm done, Don't talk to me, I'm going to just keep it moving Because, like you said, once you get it, it comes with the older we get to you kind of, when you're younger, you're doing a dating thing and you're just out here living life. And when you start getting older and you're like OK, I want to settle down, but you kind of already know what you want. From past experiences You're like you know what, I already know that I expect this from my partner because I know I'm going to provide this. So it's kind of so I get that you already, your expectations are already there. So Rudy has a question.

Manny Knoxx:

Would you date a guy with no job? I wouldn't date a woman with no job at all.

Lina Slim:

Like a legal job or just a job in.

Manny Knoxx:

How old are you? I know that damn. That's a real question. There's a reason I ask that question. I know you don't have to answer that. Would you date a guy with no job?

Lina Slim:

No, because if I have a job, two jobs.

Manny Knoxx:

Would you date a guy with no income Right? Is that more specific?

Omgitswicks:

Yeah, that's why she asks, Because these days even my job isn't a traditional job.

Manny Knoxx:

Is that what you were talking about, because I don't know why. When she said that I was talking about a drug, dealer.

Lina Slim:

When you said that how Dario was like fuck. I know why he's asking me that. No, it sounded bad.

Manny Knoxx:

No, that's not what I meant, because I wouldn't put myself in a situation like that. See, I'm ratchet, so that's what I jumped into. Is she talking about a drug dealer? Because that's the type of females I'm used to.

Lina Slim:

No, if I have an income, you have to have one too.

Manny Knoxx:

Yeah, that's what I said. That's a basic expectation of that. Especially once you're an adult what do we do?

Omgitswicks:

It's like why are you just hanging out? You got to be doing something. I don't care what it is, I mean I do.

Manny Knoxx:

I do, but I think men would be quicker to accept a woman without a job as opposed to a female accepting a guy without a job. I would never accept it.

Omgitswicks:

And that's what I'm saying. I think and a lot of it was at the beginning, but I feel like at some point you're going to be like all right, this is getting tiring. The honeymoon stage is over, you got to do something. You know what I'm saying Even though that's what it is, because I know people that got with someone that wasn't working and they came in and they were the money person hey, I'm going to take care of you. Blah, blah, blah. And then, once the relationship started getting more serious, then they instantly expected it to be different. But I'm like you came in. This is who that person was. You know what I'm saying. So you can't expect them to change when you provided all this. So that's why I like, once again I started at the first day and we haven't come to see since. Hey, I have two kids. I'm a full-time dad. This is what I do, this is what I expect. You know what I'm saying.

Lina Slim:

I'm very blunt like that you got to be.

Manny Knoxx:

What did you want to build with them? No, you ain't even got tools. You had no plans on building.

Omgitswicks:

Really stop writing them down. No, I'm just saying, yeah, I'm not, we don't want to do none of that. We don't want to do none of that. So yeah, but I feel like, especially these days, I feel like you got to be more direct. So since I've known you, you've been very direct. Since I think the first day I met you, you've been very. I should think you was mean.

Lina Slim:

It's the way I draw my eyebrows, for sure.

Omgitswicks:

That's what it is.

Lina Slim:

It's the arch, because I will tell you, I'm so fucking sweet, like look how you just told me, oh come. And I'm like, oh, I'm there.

Omgitswicks:

No, you're nice.

Lina Slim:

I'm a sweet person but I look mean. Sometimes it could be mean, depending on how you're coming at me. Yeah, no, if you come at me with respect, love, and I'm going to give you the same energy back.

Omgitswicks:

Over the years, like once in a while when I first you know back in the day what was at the club. So it was like everybody. You're kind of like on guard because people are weird. So I get it.

Lina Slim:

I get that so much.

Omgitswicks:

Over the years. I'm like she's cool, like she's really dope. So I'm like that's when I started communicating with you a lot more and I realized you were actually very cool. So she's not me.

Lina Slim:

You're single.

Omgitswicks:

So just in case these dudes hop in.

Lina Slim:

Yes, I'm single.

Omgitswicks:

So y'all get up.

Manny Knoxx:

No, I'm just playing, but get a job first, get a job, get in a car, have a job in a car, hey, and pull your license out right away. She needs to know that it's happening?

Lina Slim:

Yes, I will be looking at the expiration date.

Omgitswicks:

We got you, we got you. We're going to do the screening for you, but let me ask you something Back to what you were saying earlier.

Lina Slim:

When you meet a girl, what are the? If you were to pick the three most important things that you were like, lay upfront, what would it be?

Manny Knoxx:

From her to me what he would lay upfront Like what are his expectations as far as the three things. First, expectations.

Lina Slim:

So when you meet someone, I say you're meeting someone, you're going to say I'm a father, I'm a full-time dad.

Omgitswicks:

Because that's the most important thing Exactly.

Lina Slim:

What will be your next two?

Omgitswicks:

My job, because my job isn't traditional. I do social media and my business is social media. So you get with people that are like, hey, your life is on social media. I'm like, yeah, that's kind of my job Now.

Lina Slim:

So I would explain that. So they have to be comfortable with the fact that you're out here.

Omgitswicks:

Yes, yes, I'm in these streets. No, I'm not in these streets for real, but my job is to entertain people. So my job is social media.

Lina Slim:

But do you know how to Keep like business and pleasure?

Omgitswicks:

Oh yeah, that's separate.

Lina Slim:

It's a lot of people use their platform of being a what you're doing a comedian, a producer, a Club promoter, a DJ there they could be a little dis expect this respect for and then say that's part of the job.

Omgitswicks:

I know, I know this, okay, I've seen it, okay, but not not me. Mike went. The way that I am is I treat it like a job. So it's a job. I, you know. I mean I love what I do because I love to entertain people, so I'll I'll do what I do, but also, it's not you know my whole life, so I don't use it to be like, hey, I'm gonna, like I know people that have used their platforms to talk to women. Mm-hmm.

Omgitswicks:

That's not me. That's not who I am. That's not me, and many can. Many is my witness. Even back then, when we used to do stuff, we would, you know, have these situations and we would just leave me, rudy Manning. We would just leave because it was like that. We came to do our job and then now we're out. So Now, that's never been my thing. I don't use my platform for that. And I think the third thing is who. That's a hard one, because I'm trying to think specifically, because I could say what I expect, but I'm trying to think of something specific. And as to what I expect, I expect you to be honest. That's another, that's one of the, though I guess those three. So the first thing to me is me being a dad. Cuz, when I tell people I'm a dad, they look at me like okay, yeah, I know some dads and I'm like no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, like I'm the primary Parent for my kids.

Lina Slim:

Okay, I'm saying so. I'm the one single dad.

Omgitswicks:

Yeah, yeah, but so that takes up a lot of time. Like I've got in the situations with people and they'll be like I'll be like, yeah, I'm a dad. And they'll be like, okay, that's cool, that's so sweet, you're a dad. And then they like, hey, you don't have a lot of time.

Lina Slim:

And I'm like, yeah, cuz I'm that type of kids.

Omgitswicks:

I have them Pretty much 90% of the time, so it's not like a situation where it's and I'm not ever gonna choose anybody over them, so that's not but yeah, that's it. What about y'all? What about Many places?

Manny Knoxx:

are hilarious just cuz my life is. I'm a complicated human being, no.

Lina Slim:

I wouldn't, say that cuz to me I'm not complicated.

Manny Knoxx:

Okay, I think the fact that I'm so simple is complicated, yeah, cuz when you tell somebody how simple you are, yeah, there's no way. There's gotta be way to more to it than that right. So to me, like, the first thing is and you've kind of said this, but I feel this way like Don't come to me unless you ready to like really commit to something at this point in my life. Don't, like it's not. Oh, I think so, maybe like know that you ready to commit to some, or else you wait some time because I'm 36. I'm done having a good time right.

Manny Knoxx:

And then, in that aspect of like I'm not just here for fun, are we taking the serious or not? Um, second, I am very blunt and very honest and up front. So you got to have some thick skin, um, and if I care about you, I'm not trying to hurt your feelings. So you got like, keep that in mind. If I'm investing time in you is cuz I care about you and I would never intentionally try to hurt somebody's feeling. So I'm very blunt and honest and you got to be ready for that. And you got to have a very good sense of humor too. Oh, that's a good one, very good sense of humor, because I'll make jokes out of the darkest things, because that's just how I feel my humor.

Manny Knoxx:

I never tell whether you're joking or whether you're serious, and I mean no, I'm always serious. For some reason, y'all just laugh when I open my mouth. So I want to tell y'all. But it's always. There's always truth to whatever's coming out my mouth.

Lina Slim:

Do you have people like stare at you, waiting for you to like, yeah, go or something.

Omgitswicks:

Yeah and then you got me just dying laughing and they'd be like, but you just. Why? But many serious so it's always confusing, because he'll say something and I'll start dying laughing Because I know him and so, and then they're looking at him. All right, so what? Three things are like the first, but I, this is a good way.

Lina Slim:

So First thing is that I'm needy.

Manny Knoxx:

Okay.

Lina Slim:

I'm very needy. I like attention. Okay, I don't go seeking for attention elsewhere. If you give me the attention I need and want you good.

Omgitswicks:

Okay.

Lina Slim:

I'm needy any the attention. Second thing is um that I'm very occupied when it comes to Taking care of my daughter and my mom. I am a mom's caregiver and I am a Very single parents to my child. So, there's gonna be times that we plan something and, hey, mom needs to go to an appointment. A collar, my daughter has hers. Da, da, da da. We need to cancel cuz they come first.

Lina Slim:

Yes, and that is sometimes an issue. Yes, um, I think. The third thing is I'm very open and honest about me suffering from anxiety and depression and I know that that's difficult for some people to handle and I understand that's a preference If you want to deal with somebody that has those issues. So I'm very open and vocal about it and you know they ask me the questions like do you take medicine, do you talk to somebody, how do you handle it? And I'm very honest about that.

Omgitswicks:

That's actually really I feel like there's nothing. Everything you said like I can relate to With that, I'm with that. You know what else I can relate with? You said something. You came in, you looked at the topic list and you said something and we had the topic of do people put up their Christmas trees right after Halloween. You was like y'all about to get me cuz my Christmas tree is already up, and I was like I was bought like if I wasn't as busy these past two weeks what, how long this man Where's Halloween was?

Manny Knoxx:

a week ago. How many weeks, how many?

Lina Slim:

like two weeks, like literally.

Omgitswicks:

Almost a week. So if I wasn't busy these you know days, we would have like me and my kids would have been put it up. So Is it? I think it's becoming a normal thing, and you already did it. You already done it, I'm obsessed with Halloween.

Lina Slim:

obsessed Halloween for me starts on September 1st. I was already decorating my office, I was already putting things up. My coworkers are like are you kidding me? I said 30 days is just not enough.

Omgitswicks:

Yeah, you need more.

Lina Slim:

Yeah, so once it's done, I'm sad because it's done. So what makes you happy after Halloween, christmas? So it needs to start right afterwards.

Omgitswicks:

Christmas definitely Thanks.

Manny Knoxx:

Evan, it's just pre-Christmas.

Omgitswicks:

You know what I'm more excited about Black Friday, so I can get stuff for Christmas.

Lina Slim:

I already started that.

Omgitswicks:

No, I got stuff, but the stuff that I had because my daughter, she wants to take up photography in my youngest and then my oldest wants to make.

Manny Knoxx:

I can't stand Black Friday.

Omgitswicks:

I love. Well, I don't go shopping.

Manny Knoxx:

That's all I think about when I hear Black Friday.

Omgitswicks:

I guess Cyber Monday is more my.

Manny Knoxx:

Thing.

Lina Slim:

Yeah, I do online now. I used to work at Walmart.

Omgitswicks:

Oh, so that.

Lina Slim:

So the trauma is real.

Omgitswicks:

I work at Dance Club.

Lina Slim:

Yeah, I don't go out there anymore shopping. The way people act is just disgusting.

Omgitswicks:

You remember that year that people were dying because they were getting trampled? They?

Lina Slim:

were being stampede.

Omgitswicks:

Yeah, they were opening the door and they would just run through and then they fighting over the last TV.

Lina Slim:

Guess what department I was working for Electronic.

Omgitswicks:

Electronic.

Lina Slim:

Yes, I know you have the door.

Lina Slim:

And they will bring these pallets out wrapped surround, wrapped, wrapped in wood, and there will be a sign saying do not open until, because there's times for each thing. This opens at 7 pm. Unwrap this at 10 pm. People will come in there with their own pocket knives in front of the store manager of you and get these knives, open these things early. And the thing is, for example, it's to be a pallet about this wide and about this big and in there was just three playstations. You should see those people almost kill each other and you would. You do step back, because I'm not risking my life, I don't get paid enough.

Omgitswicks:

All right, do your thing. If you're off in a fight, if you're off in a, go down and fight for this last playstation. Do your thing. Yeah, exactly.

Lina Slim:

Let me pull out my phone. I said never again.

Omgitswicks:

That's when you just pull out the phone slowly as they're brawling.

Manny Knoxx:

Yes, Do people still go out physically as much now? Absolutely, oh yeah.

Omgitswicks:

I think it's like a tradition at this point.

Lina Slim:

I think that's how you know who the most scary, weird people are.

Manny Knoxx:

They're the real scary weird ones. Now that you got an alternative that you don't have to go out there, and they still going out there.

Lina Slim:

Yeah, they're still camping outside.

Manny Knoxx:

I think the po-po needs to just be out there and just lock them up for no reason you want to know the craziest thing.

Omgitswicks:

I work at Sam's Club, right, sam's Club had really no sales for Black Friday. They didn't really do that, it was a warehouse. Bro, do you know that people were still lining up at 6.5 in the morning at Sam's Club? And then they'll go in, they'll run in, then they get mad at us because they ain't got no sales.

Omgitswicks:

And I'm like y'all should have stayed at Best Buy. I know you've seen the Best Buy line across the street and you was like I'm going to go to Sam's because I got a membership and now you mad because you can get that big screen TV. So yeah, it's wild, but I'm definitely putting up my Christmas.

Lina Slim:

I think that's why, like years ago, I skipped the whole month of November, because it's all about shopping. For me, it started becoming about greed and I just I wasn't okay with that. The only good day out of that whole month is being with your family on Thanksgiving. That's about it, and here in the United States usually you have to work anyway, so it's not as, it's not what you expect sometimes.

Omgitswicks:

Most of the time you working for Black Friday. So even if you do have Thanksgiving off, you got to come in so early for Black Friday because it's about to be some craziness going on. I remember they had us come in when we were at, when I was at Alta. Can I say that on here? Sure. Okay. So when I was there at the call center, they had us come in, come in on Black Friday, and I'm like so y'all got a.

Manny Knoxx:

Black Friday deal on cars. Like what are y'all doing? I got to work Black.

Omgitswicks:

Friday Like what are we doing? Like why, For why? So it don't even make sense. But I definitely I'm with you. We're putting up my Christmas tree plus my birthday two days after Christmas. Ew, I know, tell me about it?

Lina Slim:

Did they combine your gifts together?

Omgitswicks:

Every year and they'd be like this is the, this is the gift for your Christmas and your, but then they start giving me like one gift. So they'll give me like the PlayStation on Christmas and then the remote on my birthday. I'm like y'all wild for this, y'all wild for this.

Lina Slim:

What Saudi excite are you?

Omgitswicks:

I'm a Capricorn.

Lina Slim:

Oh, it starts, Capricorn.

Omgitswicks:

Okay, oh my God, this is so old, two days after Christmas, two days after Christmas.

Manny Knoxx:

What is with your on these old acts? I'm a Sagittarius.

Lina Slim:

I just posted something, I just posted something.

Omgitswicks:

I just started this, I just posted.

Manny Knoxx:

That is all pretend.

Lina Slim:

It's not pretend. Sometimes I'd be reading and I'm like yo, this are they talking about me.

Omgitswicks:

It's about what helps you. So I could say if you know you like, I'll never tell you that you should believe in it. You know what I'm saying.

Manny Knoxx:

But I don't, I don't try to make me feel bad about this.

Lina Slim:

This is only action enough, enough, sagittarius I have.

Omgitswicks:

Like everybody else, I'd be like, okay, but Sagittarius and Gemini and Scorpio, I got beef, but the Sagittarius ain't to a fault, but not all Sagittarius, cause I got some cool people. That's my point, though. It's both. No, no, no, it's a very you know, but I, as far as December, as far as December. The reason why Christmas is a little bit difficult for me, because I have so many birthdays, like my youngest daughter, is December 4th. My oldest daughter is January 2nd.

Omgitswicks:

Back to back. And then, when I was with my kids, mother, her birthday was December 19th. Oh, that's the worst and my niece is December 7th.

Lina Slim:

Well, she was a Sagittarius. Oh, that's why you're a little iffy about it.

Omgitswicks:

Yeah, my aunt is December 5th.

Manny Knoxx:

Yeah, I'm not buying my own snow gear.

Lina Slim:

I mean, I don't have clothes to go under at home. But it depends Are you, were you raised with her, were you close?

Omgitswicks:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, this was the aunt that helped raise me. So there you go. This was the one that like helped, like develop me into the jokester that I am.

Lina Slim:

I got my gifts combined too when I was younger.

Omgitswicks:

We were your birthday 15th. Mm-hmm, see, now, they just did you wrong. I know they did you wrong.

Lina Slim:

There was another paycheck in between that date.

Manny Knoxx:

That's all good, it's all good.

Lina Slim:

It's all good, I'm old now I let it go.

Omgitswicks:

You let it go. I'm holding grudges. It's be for my family forever. Until y'all get me two gifts is be, and that don't mean the PlayStation and the controller. I need two separate gifts. So just give them trash gifts. They let them know. And then, well, you know, I'm not gonna lie.

Omgitswicks:

I did in my mom one year for her mother's day because her birthday is May 10th and it usually falls right around Mother's Day and I did what she did and she didn't like that too much. She didn't. She didn't think it was funny, as I thought it was, because I was like, haha, look what, just what you did to me. And she was like you know she has some choice words for me, but I got her back, I pay back. It's like when you're able to tell your kids, when they tell your mom, like when you know when it's used to tell you I'm not one of your little friends, I look like you one of my little friends. Now you know I'm saying when you ever, you ever to get that off, that'd be me right now. I'm ready, I'll be.

Omgitswicks:

Nice be forever, bro All right, so last topic, we're gonna. We're gonna skip to the last one, cuz I gotta we. I didn't think was gonna go as long on the other one. Okay the Florida man games are coming to Florida, st Augustine, florida in February. Some of this confused face right is beer, belly breast beer, belly wrestling, yes, beer belly wrestling.

Manny Knoxx:

Are there specifics on what that is they're gonna be like?

Omgitswicks:

This is just what we think, oh, okay, but it's gonna be like beer belly I'm pretty single. Throw a Florida twist in it. Okay, beer belly wrestling. One of the obstacle course is to have to evade police, and I feel like that is the most Florida thing I have ever heard in my life. So they have an obstacle course. Yeah, go ahead and go ahead. Get your question off.

Lina Slim:

Wait, so this is a real thing.

Manny Knoxx:

Yeah, it's an event that's gonna happen in February.

Lina Slim:

Is this new? Has this, like always happened every year?

Omgitswicks:

This is new. This is the first year that they doing it, so I guess so some of the people they got some of the people from American gladiators gonna be there as well. I'm gonna show American gladiators. That makes so now they're bringing this like Florida man games to like, I guess, to celebrate Florida man and some of these are you doing obstacles like around animals like pythons and Alligators and mosquitoes and the mosquitoes gonna be there.

Omgitswicks:

volunteer, they're gonna be there. They, they, the non-pay volunteers, they're gonna be there, lightning, lightning. February now will be good in February it might be a little. This is a serious thing, and that they've. I've been intact in this to the point to where the people that run the event Reached out to me limited tickets. Yeah, yeah, it's gonna be late. I can't wait, I cannot wait, my goodness.

Manny Knoxx:

So I'm thinking beards tattoos.

Lina Slim:

Huchi daddy shorts yeah, yeah, there's beer.

Omgitswicks:

Yeah, you know Florida. Yes, okay evading arrest obstacle course when they jumping over a fence and running through yards this is amazing. Then they got real police officers to volunteer to chase people.

Lina Slim:

This is amazing.

Omgitswicks:

They got a category five cash grab. Well, I guess they get in the category five hurricane simulator thing and then they grab money.

Manny Knoxx:

Weaponized pool noodle module that.

Lina Slim:

That's Exactly what you think this is why the whole world thinks that Florida is their own little Country on its own.

Omgitswicks:

I feel like we should be at this point because this is crazy to me. What so you're not going?

Lina Slim:

I mean, no, I'm like, you know, like a when something crazy is happening and you know you shouldn't be part of it, but you still want to see it.

Omgitswicks:

Yeah, yeah that's.

Lina Slim:

That's what I'm on right now, like I need to see this.

Omgitswicks:

So this has, this is happy oh it's a more than a sense.

Manny Knoxx:

They Augustine category five cash grab.

Omgitswicks:

I like St Augustine, Okay, okay so we really gonna get like Python and stuff.

Manny Knoxx:

You know that down here catalytic converter, two bikes and a handful of copper pipes. Yes yes, oh my god.

Lina Slim:

I'm excited.

Manny Knoxx:

Keep going, is it?

Lina Slim:

I think I'm excited, cuz I'm shocked beer belly Florida.

Omgitswicks:

Now you see why we want to get your Reaction. Okay, so that's. And then the rep doing the American gladiators so they don't.

Manny Knoxx:

Nitro for the head? Okay, they're gonna be the red ice, All right you know we should be a judge.

Lina Slim:

Oh, the guy that's always chasing the storms.

Omgitswicks:

To my gym. Oh, the problem is he's been wrong Like I would have. He's been wrong a couple times.

Lina Slim:

You know who I would have the waterhouse people when it comes to Florida, whether he's been warm like the hurricane.

Omgitswicks:

He's been wrong. Oh, leave it right there, I mean yeah. Mechanical Gator, you know who's never wrong. The waterhouse you. Oh, I follow the waterhouse. I.

Manny Knoxx:

Didn't know. Your fans is gonna remember, like you, which you're never wrong. They don't say that dude yeah they know, they literally, somebody literally said well, you'd never oh my god, I'm not doing that.

Lina Slim:

There's no way. Yeah, I gotta do that wipe out logs lamb.

Manny Knoxx:

I gotta do that.

Lina Slim:

Oh wait, before you do these things and go to this location, do you guys have health insurance?

Manny Knoxx:

Oh, why, I think you, I think you gotta sign paperwork. So, yeah, yeah, you'll be fine.

Omgitswicks:

But I told them I couldn't part today, wanted me to get a team at first, but I was like, listen, I got asthma y'all. Yeah, I'm almost 40.

Lina Slim:

I don't got Megan these oh, that should be.

Omgitswicks:

She got Megan these no more. I feel that I felt that I got Florida needs. I should jump too much back in the day Grime oh, you still do it.

Lina Slim:

What does that be hits?

Omgitswicks:

Yeah, yeah, I'll do it.

Manny Knoxx:

I don't give it wrong but I'm gonna be hurting the next. You just need to help to get back up now. So we doing the Florida man games. What do you mean doing? Are we going?

Lina Slim:

Oh, yeah, yeah, I'm gonna watch this. It's yes, I want to watch it.

Manny Knoxx:

I want to support this. It's like a train wreck.

Omgitswicks:

You can't take your, you know your eyes off and the beer jelly wrestling is in the yeah, well, no, it's in these things, these bubbles. I Can't wait. I'm excited, I'm excited, look, I'm excited. So what, okay? So, before we get out of here, what y'all want? I want to know what y'all want to leave with the people, man, and what you want to leave with the people, cuz we about to wrap it up, okay, cuz I got some stuff to tell y'all anyways.

Manny Knoxx:

But Don't play with me, these people in the comments. I'm sick of y'all. I'm sick of y'all and if we ever have a live event, I'm sick of y'all. I just want y'all to know many got beef with the people in the comments Fans? No, there was one person that says you carry the podcast somebody said that.

Manny Knoxx:

Yeah, and I agree with him. That must be no. But you know that's not a fan. That's what I hate to you the trolls that'll follow you to just be spiteful. No, that person's not offended. If that person's offended or they would have never said that because your fans are delusional they would never see you Banny. That's possible too but if I don't know, you a fan of me. Then we got beef because how come I don't know about this why they didn't defend you at caterpillar? Where were you?

Omgitswicks:

Exactly Alright. What do you want to leave with the people?

Lina Slim:

That I'll be back.

Omgitswicks:

Oh yeah, I hope you will know I'm listening, I like she's toxic, though I don't know. I like it.

Manny Knoxx:

She came and met me for two minutes. It seems like we should all get matching tattoos. That's so toxic.

Omgitswicks:

That's a Florida thing where it became besties.

Lina Slim:

We're all getting matching manatee tattoos.

Omgitswicks:

Hey, how can you not and I gotta put it on my Florida man on my?

Manny Knoxx:

Florida. I'm gonna let y'all to do that. I'm not putting it on. I'm not born here.

Omgitswicks:

You should get one of them big sewer okay, I'm gonna buy you that little.

Manny Knoxx:

One day I'll do a Hannah, yeah, so we can kind of sick of soak it in and be like yo.

Lina Slim:
