Ever pondered why a simple "good morning" text can sometimes set off your skeptic alarm? Manny Knoxx, Lina Slim, and I tackle the peculiar human response to unsolicited cheer, dissecting the complexities of trust and authenticity that color our reception of kindness. As our blankets and coffee cups become trusty sidekicks, we reveal the convoluted dance between gratitude and guardedness, navigating the intricate web of modern human connections. Our candid banter might just unravel why your heart both leaps and looks before it leaps when positivity comes knocking.

Florida's wild side isn't just about gators and hurricanes; it's an adventure that could merit hazard pay, or so we joke while musing over the state's Bermuda Triangle connection. Sharing tales of bubble-bound escapades and pondering the influence of our surroundings on our life choices, we weave in reflections on purpose and the power we hold to uplift one another. And when it comes to belief in the extraterrestrial, we're not shy to admit our intrigue, nor are we reserved in seeking laughter in the face of Florida's unique brand of mayhem.

Nostalgia takes the wheel as we traverse memory lane, contemplating the revival of cherished TV shows and their potential impact in today's world. Amidst discussions of 'moon water' and toxic relationships, we don't just scratch the surface; we delve into the depths of personal growth and cultural significance. As we wrap up, we leave listeners with a heartfelt reminder to treasure those 'rare and good people' in our lives, the ones who know just how you take your coffee, and to savor the moments that are, well, simply irreplaceable.

Speaker 1:

Hey, did the craziness of Florida create the beauty triangle? Oh, the beauty triangle make Florida crazy.

Speaker 3:

All right, what's happening? Everybody, this is the OMG is WIC show. We are at episode 27 still in this thing. I am OMG is WICs. I do y'all think I ain't really got a lot this morning, today, so it's Mandy Knox.

Speaker 1:

I'm doing good. I woke up, can't complain. Any day above ground is a good day. I'm just so happy to be here with all of you. Thank you for allowing me to be in your presence, both the people in the room and the people at home. Don't forget to like, share, subscribe. I'll keep hope alive and I kick it off to the amazing, brilliant, talented, kind, provocative, open-backed co-host. I'll let you take it from here.

Speaker 4:

You know it should be like this moving forward. I like this. I really, I really enjoy that.

Speaker 1:

You're the smart man.

Speaker 4:

It's Lena Slim. I'm up. It's cold out here for us Floridians Anything below 70. It is freezing, so I have my little blanket. So I'm going to go.

Speaker 3:

You ready to go? I'm ready to go. Got your Starbucks, got your blanket.

Speaker 4:

Got my.

Speaker 3:

Starbucks. Oh, we in that in.

Speaker 4:

OK, it's a party.

Speaker 3:

A party. Lena came in. She brought all of us Starbucks. It's a setup, Can't even do something.

Speaker 1:

nice we're just going to pass out.

Speaker 3:

So that's you, and we got on the list too. What With you with like positive things? So what do you mean we have? Ok. So we have this theory. Mandy has an issue with well, in our minds have an issue with like anything positive. So Lena brought Starbucks for everybody and Mandy instantly said it was a setup.

Speaker 4:

And he's been rolling with this. No, thank you. No, my god, I'm enjoying this. It's we're all going to die.

Speaker 3:

Yes, instantly, instantly. And then we were talking about comments on the show, like a people saying positive stuff about Mandy and he said it's one person that keeps creating multiple accounts. I still believe that. I still believe that. So why do you think it's hard, lena? You have to ask Mandy person. Well, actually, why do you think it's so hard for?

Speaker 4:

me. I think it's so hard for him to accept love that he just doubts it all.

Speaker 1:

OK, that's yes and no. It depends on where it's coming from.

Speaker 3:

OK, so let's say Lena specifically.

Speaker 1:

I believe she means what she says. Ok, but I'm not comfortable accepting because I don't know her like that. Oh, but it's positive. That's what I got to do with her. Positive, oh yeah, I mean there's some people with more of a BS approach to the positivity than you Like. What I mean by that is like all right, like the other day somebody just like jumped in my inbox and was like hey, I just feel like you need this message and they just sent me a whole paragraph and I was like you never hit me up, I don't need to really know you like that.

Speaker 4:

Is she? A spiritual, like religious, Like you know type of person. Yes. Maybe you just happened. That happens to me. Well, I'm not really. I want to say I'm a religious, but sometimes randomly, a specific person comes into my mind and I'm like I probably have to reach out and say something positive. I do that randomly.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's cool, don't don't. I mean, I guess you could do it, but I don't If I don't know you. Now, if you never like I don't know you, bro, I didn't ask. Great that you're positive, go to go take that somewhere else. You know, let my mama send me a message, or something like that.

Speaker 3:

OK, if your mom sent you a positive message.

Speaker 1:

I'll be like yo is everything OK. She was like no.

Speaker 4:

You see, like there's no, when he went.

Speaker 3:

Let my mom send me a message.

Speaker 1:

We're like parents but we're like parents, like they'll hit you up because they had a bad dream about you or something like that.

Speaker 4:

You know I hate those.

Speaker 3:

I was like yo you good, but I'll say thank you, my dad, though, like my dad, he'll just send me like messages like every day oh dad, what's that Never heard?

Speaker 1:

of. I don't really quite. You have to feed those. Like, how do you Never heard of those? Yeah, he'll say that. But somebody like if you send me a positive message, I wouldn't be mad. I would think it's weird. Well, it depends on how you say it. It depends on how you say it Like you could tell this person copy and pasted something. Yeah, so if you just like, if you just like anyway, you know people, you know when they're like hitting you up, the way that they talk. But if I don't know you, bro, you can take that positivity somewhere else. Let's get out, get out of my face. What about from Lena? I wouldn't be upset about it, but I just like all right, cool, thanks, appreciate it. So you would accept it from Lena? Probably not the way she would. She would probably want me to be all oh no, no, as long as you read it and you take it in consideration.

Speaker 3:

Sometimes it's just about the message. Like sometimes you and I feel like, like you said, like sometimes you might be dealing with something and that message might just come right on time and that happens.

Speaker 1:

I'm just different and I'm damaged. So to me, like, if Lena sends me, like you don't talk to me about nothing, what do you, what do you hit me up about this for? Like, what are we doing? We don't talk on a regular basis. What's why, lena?

Speaker 4:

Yeah, we have a group chat.

Speaker 3:

I was going to say that that's all business, bro, come on. The button was in the group chat.

Speaker 4:

Hold on, I'm about to start a conversation just with him. But the button, and that's the thing that people don't do things genuinely. But the button she's just got pushed.

Speaker 1:

Yo, this makes me so mad when people do something after you got to say something about it. The button was in the group chat. I don't even want exactly it was. She didn't hit me up. I'm like yo, this button thing, like, what do you like?

Speaker 3:

It was in the group chat.

Speaker 4:

I just told you to have a beautiful day.

Speaker 3:

No, but we got the. But man, I talked to you in the group chat. What?

Speaker 1:

do you?

Speaker 3:

mean.

Speaker 1:

I talked to you in the group chat. We not talking about you, we talking about Lena.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so Lena talks to you in the group chat.

Speaker 1:

But we have a relationship outside of a group chat, like what are you talking about? Y'all do too. No, we don't. Yes, y'all do. This is the first time she's ever like hit me up outside of the group chat. Do you have a message?

Speaker 3:

to Lena there, because I'm just saying something that she thinks I just told them to have a beautiful day.

Speaker 1:

It's just like these fake fan things oh my goodness. We got to start somewhere. She never wanted to do this. She just did it now because the conversation came up. No, and I'm not even mad at that, you know what I'm saying. But I'm saying let's stop pretending like these things are genuine. When you got kind of pushed along the way to do it.

Speaker 3:

But sometimes it's not about the message, it's about the message.

Speaker 1:

Exactly. No, I don't care about the message. I got my own message. No, you just walk with me.

Speaker 4:

You just said, basically you just said I want Carolina to inbox me.

Speaker 1:

I didn't say that. Yes, and so I did it.

Speaker 4:

And now I was saying, oh, because I said something. No, you just like. You know, like when you knock on the door and they open it like you knock, then I open it, and then we just wear their hug.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, To you now, because now nobody knows where they're genuine. Or some pretty thing. Yeah, some pretty thing. Now, you don't know, she has to be pushed into. I'm good bro.

Speaker 4:

No one pushed me.

Speaker 1:

I just want to be with my kind heart, I want real yeah.

Speaker 3:

You never thought about that. I've been on Lena for a while.

Speaker 1:

And Lena is a very nice person. That's great to you and that's great and I hope that that benefits you and it flourishes and I hope it lasts forever.

Speaker 4:

We all going to force together. Thank you. I want that for you. Thank you, we're going to force together. This is a big garden of love and positivity and teamwork and team building.

Speaker 1:

I feel the sunshine, ok. Anyway, don't hit me up with your positive messages. I'm good, ok, thank you for nothing, I'm good bro.

Speaker 3:

Now let me ask a question, because you know people like the people that wanted to come dressed as a caterpillar. What if they now start DMing you positive messages?

Speaker 1:

I believe they would do it to aggravate me now, because I just said it aggravates me. So they do it to aggravate me, but you gave. Dms and once again, I don't know them. No, I don't want they DM. But you just said I want genuine connections. I want genuine connections that people don't have to force you into Lita. What did he say or inspire you into when you first came?

Speaker 3:

The second show you was on.

Speaker 4:

What.

Speaker 3:

He said that you got DMs and he wanted DMs. Yeah, so now we're gonna get you.

Speaker 4:

Because I gave nothing, I've done nothing.

Speaker 1:

I want genuine those people that hit her up genuinely.

Speaker 4:

Just like, that's how you said it. Right, that's how you said it.

Speaker 1:

No, the people that hit her up genuinely want to get her pregnant. I want genuine DMs, not no fake or contrary. What if they want to get you pregnant and I wouldn't believe it or whatever, I don't believe it. There's no babies, no babies, that's whatever, that's what they all say, and so I won't get out of there.

Speaker 3:

So that's what we at now. We're gonna help. Many receive positivity. I feel like since Lena has come onto the show, he's been receiving positivity a little bit better than when we first started, so I can see the change, even last week. So, all right, so we got some. So Lena posted something in a group chat that we was in.

Speaker 4:

That we were all in, that we were in all together. Okay.

Speaker 3:

About the Bermuda Triangle right and the proximity to Florida. Now, do you think that that could be one of the reasons? Because we need an excuse at this point? Like I was, you know we'd be partying, doing hurricanes and everything.

Speaker 4:

We'd be excused which is 576 miles exactly, which is not really that far.

Speaker 3:

It's really not. And Miami is like the closest I think and Miami do wild out the most and it's kind of go away from Miami and you know we still wild out all the way up the you know, up Florida, but Miami is probably the closest Miami and the Keys area and they wild out more than anybody else. So do you think the proximity to the Bermuda Triangle is why Florida is the way that it is?

Speaker 4:

Probably. First of all, do you believe that that's real? Because I feel like it is.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, I've grown up with the Bermuda Triangle stories.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, exactly, so you feel like it's real.

Speaker 1:

I feel like it's real. What about you?

Speaker 4:

Manny.

Speaker 1:

Nothing's real. But also this is like what came first, the chicken or the egg? Did the craziness of Florida create the Bermuda Triangle, ooh, or did the Bermuda Triangle make Florida crazy?

Speaker 3:

And it just got deep just now.

Speaker 4:

you know what I'm saying Damn Like the toxics and was like and it just went over there or that or that. What I mean.

Speaker 1:

That's like the worst place here for toxicity island.

Speaker 3:

Bad thoughts. So what came first?

Speaker 4:

That is true.

Speaker 1:

And I do believe that we messed up. Nature, nature didn't mess us up, we messed up nature.

Speaker 4:

Dang, I ain't even think about that.

Speaker 1:

You know what I'm saying, so technically the Bermuda Triangle should just be called.

Speaker 4:

It should be a part of Florida. Reason 747 that we need a Florida check monthly.

Speaker 3:

I'm with Lila. Let's push it. We got to make this happen. Lila has. What did you call it?

Speaker 4:

The Florida resident check monthly check or something.

Speaker 3:

Yes, we did a monthly check for the fact that we live in such dangerous conditions Period.

Speaker 4:

Because you never knew this weather. The Bermuda Triangle. Don't get us started.

Speaker 1:

There's a lack of accountability here and there's Roman in Florida. I guess, as a whole, you want us to get a check for something we messed up. Wait, what do you mean?

Speaker 4:

Because it's our fault. No, because we're what you just said. Did we mess up the Bermuda Triangle? Do they mess us up?

Speaker 1:

I believe we messed it up. You think so? Yeah, we always destroy nature. This is our fault.

Speaker 4:

I'm trying to get a check.

Speaker 1:

I'm always good with a check. That's why my only fans is like I'm working hard on the only fans, so I understand getting a check.

Speaker 3:

So are you with us on board with this, are we?

Speaker 1:

pushed At this point. You guys try to make me feel bad for anything, so whatever y'all want to do is cool. I'm on the go, so you're on board, just so I don't get more old negativity. So yeah, bull to the Bermuda Triangle. Money for us, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Now even crazier, right? So there's this guy. He's not from Florida, he's from, like Iran, but he moved to Florida, right? He decided and I'm thinking just like the Bermuda Triangle, maybe Florida messed with his brain to make him think, because people come to Florida and do things that they never thought that they would do, right, and I think this is probably what happened. So he came to Florida, he decided that he was going to build a bubble Because he worked in a mechanic shop, so that he can run to the island of Bermuda in a hamster wheel bubble. He decided that he was going to do this. So the first time he failed, he was out there. The Coast Guard tried to tell him no, he can't do it, but they didn't have jurisdiction and make him come back. And then, like a day later, a cold front blew him over and he had to hit the SOS thing for them to come save him. I guess right after that he built another one when they told him it was going to be like a $40,000 fine.

Speaker 4:

Yes. And he decided to try this again.

Speaker 3:

I don't think he made it either time, but like, do you think that once again, like the Bermuda Triangle, do you think Florida messes with people's brain?

Speaker 1:

The funny answer is yes, Florida, but the oh, I don't know who's just gonna sound bad on or not. Out of all the places you could have came from, I ran to move to, why did you pick Florida? That's the first thing I want to know.

Speaker 4:

Because we're already known as like. What is it that Charlemagne, the God says all crazy people come from the Bronx and all of Florida. We got a bad reputation. So I feel like he's trying to live life on the edge and he thought what state, what country, where in the world can I go where you could live life on the edge and just be reckless up Florida?

Speaker 1:

So he came with the shenanigans? In your opinion, he came for the shenanigans.

Speaker 3:

Wait, I just thought about something. You from the Bronx, right? No, I'm from Brooklyn.

Speaker 4:

Oh, he got saved.

Speaker 3:

Never mind. Never mind, I had jokes back.

Speaker 1:

I think it's more crazy women in the Bronx, not just crazy people in general. Crazy women, oh yeah.

Speaker 4:

Okay, you like that.

Speaker 1:

I'm turning a new leaf. I do not like that.

Speaker 4:

Not anymore.

Speaker 1:

I'm here to you can say I like it in a sense because I want to help improve it. No, I want to help improve it.

Speaker 4:

You no longer like it. 14 days in of the new year.

Speaker 1:

No, I do like it, but not because I want the toxicity. Like I said, I'm a man of the people. You know what I've learned about myself. I don't know if I talk to you guys about it. I've learned my purpose. I've learned my complete purpose in life?

Speaker 3:

What is it? I'm happy to hear this.

Speaker 1:

I'm here to improve other people's lives. That's my sole purpose. That's what I was put on the earth for it's to help improve people's lives. So you're the saison on a life. Yeah, it's not about me. Sometimes you have to be a sacrifice. Everybody remembers Michael Jackson. Somebody had to build Michael Jackson and that person's behind the scenes.

Speaker 3:

I know you're talking about Jim Jackson.

Speaker 1:

No, no, that's what I'm saying, like Barry Gordy, but so it's not always about being in the spotlight. It's sometimes about bringing somebody into their greatness, into their spotlight. So like Michael Jackson and that's just as important as the star. So you're the pippin. I'm the pippin.

Speaker 4:

Okay, I strongly believe that I was put here to make you happy.

Speaker 1:

I think so too, jim. That's why I get upset, because I'm trying to be cool and then she says sarcastic things.

Speaker 4:

That'd be sarcastic Like.

Speaker 1:

This is a moment she was put here to make me happy but she just right now hit me up for the first time individually Because somebody says you got everybody's Starbucks. What are you talking?

Speaker 3:

about man. Lena, I appreciate you, and then you even. How do you know I'm not?

Speaker 1:

allergic to strawberries. You didn't ask nobody about their allergies, and that's what I'm saying, she don't care she was trying to kill us.

Speaker 1:

We either got drugs or was somebody's allergic to strawberries. Like, what are we doing? Are you allergic to strawberries, see? And now she got me looking like the crazy pimp and I was over here trying to be cool. She's like well, I was put here to let know you weren't. What are you talking about, I think? I think I think she don't even know my last name, she don't know my first name and she come on, man.

Speaker 4:

I know what it is.

Speaker 1:

Don't whisper to her. What is it? He did not whisper.

Speaker 4:

Why are you looking at me like that? I think it starts with a C.

Speaker 1:

I think it starts with a look, the person I was put here doesn't know you don't know my name. Anyway, I don't even remember where we were at. We're talking about the half to the world. Send me to the Bermuda. But this fool, they should have let him die. I'm sorry, but the first time they should have let him go. He said he got busted the first time he needed help and now you want to go again. Stay there, bro.

Speaker 3:

The boat stay there and good luck. The boat roll beside him a whole because he was out there asking voters directions to. Could you imagine you just out there boating and somebody pull up on you in a bubble? It was like, hey, what's the direction to the Bermuda triangle? You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

So if you were engineered, I could build a bubble. You can build a compass to tell you what direction.

Speaker 3:

And I'm gonna tell you what's even worse. This is how Florida really seep into his brain, because what he said was they like what if you get a hurricane while you're out there? He like well, wherever Mother Nature takes me is where I go.

Speaker 1:

And do you know where Mother Nature need to take him six feet under? We don't need you, bro. We gave you a second chance and you still, man. They saved him the second time too, Didn't they? That's tax dollars going to waste, bro he back.

Speaker 4:

I tried to try to find him the $40,000. That was their way of probably stopping him from doing it again, because, yeah, it was a tax dollars. I was going towards it. I didn't know that. I thought he was just like a wealthy individual that just wants to live his last years doing dumb stuff.

Speaker 1:

You had some positive light on that. Okay, I'm, she's completely turned me around. Please keep doing it, but y'all better keep taxing them, and if you don't pay that money, we need to bust them upside his head. Yeah.

Speaker 3:

And he said it was his dream though. So what was his dream?

Speaker 1:

to run to the Bermuda triangle.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, but just because it's your dream doesn't mean it has to be out of our pocket.

Speaker 3:

No, I'm with you. I agree with y'all 100%.

Speaker 1:

Bro, do something with your life that your dream is to go on above or the road.

Speaker 4:

There's nothing out there, but we think you're ocean and the possibility of you getting sucked in and ending up in the galaxy.

Speaker 3:

Such a specific way of doing him like he said, he heard about the Bermuda triangle and he wanted to go out there and see what's going on in a bubble, because he could be safe in a bubble.

Speaker 4:

The planes don't fly over it either. Right they go around it.

Speaker 3:

Yes.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, okay.

Speaker 3:

Cause they say like they got like a bunch of different theories for one, but just to be safe they go around it. Yeah, cause it's like crazy weather in that little area. It's like all kind of like crazy weather. So planes can't go over it, people can't go through it, you know. So they just avoid it all together. Yeah, so he was going to buy that with a bubble to see what's going on.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, there's, there's things that throw me, and that's not one of them. Like I don't want to look at this dark section of the ocean and be like, oh, we could be just swallowed in there. We already know that 90% of the ocean has not been discovered until this day. So why are we going to put that's basically like I hope he has like life insurance and a will and all that because I don't see him living too much longer.

Speaker 1:

Cause he obviously don't care about his life.

Speaker 3:

So I don't think he has insurance and he had his wife and his friend push him off into the ocean.

Speaker 1:

You know how excited his wife must have been, so she must hate him.

Speaker 4:

He's so annoying he's probably worth money, and his wife pushed them.

Speaker 1:

She was like I love him and I told him that I don't want him to do this, but I don't want to do this, but she pushed him and all she saw was dollar signs. So you think that's what?

Speaker 3:

it is.

Speaker 1:

She looked like Scrooge McDuck, but even Craig did in that right.

Speaker 3:

So Miami once again. Did y'all hear about the aliens? There's been a lot of debate online where there? Was aliens or kids fighting, but there's like a scene of somebody.

Speaker 4:

like it's too blurry for me to confirm what it is, but I don't care how blurry it is If you're in a building over here and the malls over here and you still could record like an image. That's that long that shit looks. That thing looks crazy to me. Yeah, it was blurred, but you could tell it was something big, something that was like seven, eight feet. You notice that it was like tall, long, like to me, it was weird.

Speaker 1:

I believe. So what do y'all believe about this specific event?

Speaker 4:

I feel like it wasn't alien. I feel like they're roam amongst us, but they cover, like I feel like men in black, like I think they know some stuff. Like I might have a little alien in my head right now.

Speaker 3:

I didn't see the video.

Speaker 1:

Did you see the?

Speaker 3:

video. I've seen the video. What do you think the video was real? Like I said, it's too blurry for me to confirm. Okay, so my first is do I believe aliens exist? Yes, I believe that there's aliens there's too many, like every pretty much everybody. I know that I had an encounter to where it's like that you know what I'm saying, like in even me as a kid. But I, like I said it wasn't a mockery, so anything can happen.

Speaker 1:

But what's about to say.

Speaker 3:

I'm listening, I'm being put on my mind.

Speaker 1:

Are you right? No, I'm saying what's that? All the places that I'm gonna pull up to a mockery. No, but I understand, I'm gonna pull up to Miami a mockery.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, cause what caused all those police officers to be there? How many cars was?

Speaker 3:

there Like over a hundred police cars.

Speaker 4:

Exactly so. What was the scenario that caused like so much?

Speaker 3:

They said. They said there were kids supposed to be fighting in this mall.

Speaker 4:

There's no way the whole department of freaking day County was going to go for a kids fight. I fought at the mall before.

Speaker 3:

Okay, there's no way, unless the bomb thread, unless it's like a tourist attack or yeah, aliens, and it there were, they were saying, was I guess the kids set off fireworks and then they heard it was fighting, so they sent and I'm like still it was 20 cars come and.

Speaker 1:

Fireworks.

Speaker 3:

I thought it was good shots too it was literally over a hundred cars, over a hundred police cars like lined up around. It was just crazy. If you see it, it's like yeah, over a hundred.

Speaker 4:

I think it was something Not natural. Yeah something weird, and there, of course, they're trying to stop us from knowing the truth, because I do believe that stuff like that.

Speaker 1:

Recently the government been okay. We're telling us the truth. They even like been recently released.

Speaker 4:

I think it's slowly trying to adapt us to it but not confirming it, like baby steps, like we might have seen this. We might have not to see how the people are gonna react, but they're not gonna confirm a hundred percent but you never looked at somebody and was like, bro, you can't be human, you gotta be it.

Speaker 3:

Like well, yeah, but I'll be thinking like that chicken guy.

Speaker 1:

What you oh that does. No, I just look at people like I don't think they're alien, I think they just like neanderthals, like they dumb, like they didn't quite evolve, like they missed it, bro, by this much but there's some people that's like, bro, this, you, you gotta be a like.

Speaker 3:

There's some people like you, look at them. You like I could tell you not like human. And that lady that was on that plane, they may you know whatever. She had to come back and was like that didn't happen and I didn't see that and I'm like, no, you can tell them. Look in that lady face, she saw some crazy stuff.

Speaker 4:

Oh, the lady in the plane I would love to know what her point.

Speaker 3:

I'm not even asking Okay, oh man. So but also I do have a theory on why Floridians are the way we are because we make jokes out of everything, like an alien encounter. We're making jokes Hurricanes, we're making jokes like there can be something tragic and we're making jokes. I feel like we deal with so much trauma on a daily basis, especially the ones that are born and raised here like from nature and like bro, you can, we can see an alligator and like, oh, that's a cute, you know what I'm saying. Or like let me go try to pet it.

Speaker 3:

I mean, I haven't pet a while alligator, but you see me at these alligator parts like I have a baby one, so, but it's in us and I feel like, because we deal with all these things on a daily basis, we turn everything into a joke, like everything is a joke.

Speaker 4:

I'm probably the only person that don't.

Speaker 3:

I would tell you.

Speaker 4:

I am terrified of natural disasters. That terrifies me and you would think, oh, at this point, being here your whole life, you should get used to it. I'm terrified. What was it last week? We're supposed to get like high winds, etc.

Speaker 4:

Oh, the tropical storm yeah was that water tools there or something of last week? We're supposed to get this like high speed winds and this and that. Okay, so they close the office down. So I'm working. All of a sudden I see a little email come on the corner and it says due to the storm that's coming in, the high Winds approaching us, we're gonna close the office. At one it was like 1130. I start the whole. I'm thinking the worst. One o'clock hit. I got in my car, I left. They said that most likely it got too crazy, they were gonna close the bridge.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 4:

I'm freaking out. I'm in Fort Myers, I have to get on the bridge to come to Cape. I'm thinking my daughter. So I go to Publix, I stack up on snacks, water, juice. Go pick up my daughter. When I get there, you know, when you sign out your child, that says reason for leaving. It was the third page in. So I'm like looking around, there's already parents there. I'm okay, maybe I'm the one overreacting, there's not too much going on. When I flip that page and it says reason for leaving and all I saw was weather, weather, storm, weather, storm, the storm, the weather. I'm like all over again. Nothing ended up happening. But yeah, I do panic and I think it comes from the fact that I lived in Miami when Hurricane Andrew yeah came in and we were homeless for like six months, like we were living in like all, like those portables.

Speaker 4:

Yeah that were outside of a school campus, like we were in there with 20 other family members and it was horrible I'm talking about. We came out, my car was, the cars were flipped, our Sliding doors, like it was crazy. I remember that, like it was yesterday. I was terrified. We did not have, like we barely bathed in six months. We barely ate in six months. So I think it comes from that. I never want to go through that ever in my life again.

Speaker 3:

I tell people, andrew, like they'll tell me about a hurricane. I've got listen because I was in a mockery when Andrew hit and I remember my family's crazy. It was grilling in the house, everybody was smoke. You know, I got asthma but like my granddad almost got picked up because he decided he was gonna go to his truck to get something. Oh In, andrew, yes, there was like dead animals all over the street.

Speaker 4:

It was a. It was a depressing and I think that really messed with my head. So when we did get hit by the hurricane almost was it Year and a half ago, that October, that we got hit and we were with no electricity for 10 days I thought the worst. I thought it was gonna go further than that. I was so depressed I'm thinking, oh my god, I got a kid, I got to take care of my mom. My mom is sick. I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna go next door in the vacation home and steal their food like I'm like.

Speaker 3:

That's what I'm saying. You got it, you know. But I said I I think the fact that I dealt with Andrew and then the Charlie situation, we got what? Four hurricanes that year in like six weeks, like now I'd be like all right, cool. So hurricane category two, all right, we're good, we're solid, we'll be okay. Yeah, you know, I'm saying I think because we did like I remember we was gonna hit with, was it Irma? I think we're getting hit with Irma and they said Irma was supposed to be like a five at first and people were drawing the Jordan meme on Florida.

Speaker 4:

Oh yes.

Speaker 3:

But I think it's because we deal with so much stuff on a regular basis that, if you like, worry about everything and you'll be, you know, worried forever. Because, like you said, every day is like a crazy event, mm-hmm, whether it's aliens or Weather, or animals, or I mean we just had what a breakout of leprosy from giant African snails like what. Where are we?

Speaker 4:

Yeah, seriously is it? You have to be, you have to have tough skin to live here, you really do, you don't what you about to say, man.

Speaker 3:

I just so many why would you give me that?

Speaker 4:

look like that.

Speaker 1:

There's just so many emotions as I'm hearing you talk For me. It's not because of Florida that I don't take anything serious. I was born in the darkness, I live in the darkness. Oh, you bang, yeah, so you're about that life.

Speaker 1:

Like when she was talking I was laughing in my head the whole time, not laughing at her really like when she was like I'm afraid of the wind and I was like, yes, she's little, she. Probably Wind is a real Concern. Right, that's what you going with. And I was like I should charge her to chain herself to me when there's high wind.

Speaker 1:

Those are the type of things, and we're surrounded by water, so if I do get like blown away, so she's talking about how she's fearful of things and I'm just the whole time I had laughing like she's a kite and it's scary for you save me. Oh yeah, well, but just talk a hold it over your head.

Speaker 3:

When she got I.

Speaker 1:

Saved. I bet you she'll send a message to me if there's high winds now. You know things like that. And then I was also thinking like we are. So we, because, when you were talking about the concerns you had, I'm like we are so comfortable, we live so comfortable as human beings, because I remember when all of our stuff was out of the hurricane, it was nothing, it's like all right, cool, hey, let's go make some coffee outside on top of bricks. You know what I'm saying? And we were just chilling.

Speaker 4:

And those instincts do come out.

Speaker 1:

But we're so comfortable that?

Speaker 4:

How about they're?

Speaker 1:

broken sticks the most little. How do you do that? On survival man we're so comfortable with the most little inconvenience is like the end of the world. Now your AC go out and you're struggling. Now it's like all right.

Speaker 4:

I agree 100%.

Speaker 3:

You had to see me during Ian. It was like, okay, so when Ian came not Ian Irma, when Irma came, not Ian Irma my kids were actually with their mom. Their mom is like panicking, so she went to the hospital for the shelter and I'm like man, I'm staying at the house and my sister and they enjoyed it. They're panicking because they've been enjoying it too long and I'm like man, it's a three, Like I'm good, and then the power went out, Right, so I'm like I'm cool, but then it was flooded everywhere so my car couldn't get out.

Speaker 3:

Bro, like I'm going to tell you like I went into a survival mode, like I was. Now I stay in Lehigh. You know I'm not drinking the water, so I would rather strain. I was out there doing a survival man tactic to the water to try to like get some water, clean it, yeah, but I wasn't doing it in the league. I'm not out to sink though, cause I don't. You don't drink. I was out to sink in Lehigh.

Speaker 4:

Can you boil your water in Lehigh?

Speaker 3:

I don't even trust it, I won't even boil it.

Speaker 4:

Does it smell inside as much as it smells outside. Cause when you turn on your sprinklers the whole state of Florida smells it.

Speaker 3:

It's a lot of filters, okay.

Speaker 4:

I just wanted to make sure I don't know, cause sometimes I drive through there and I'm like let me. I'm rolling the windows up. I'm like who.

Speaker 3:

I cannot take this. What are those spoiled eggs coming from? Why are there so many spoiled eggs everywhere, See?

Speaker 4:

I can't run for cover cause I have pets and if you was to go to the hospital, to these schools, they don't let you bring your pets and I'm not leaving my pets behind.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they say for at home by itself anyway. There's so many other problems that come within being joined with. So many people Just stay at home, thug it out, figure it out. That's our problem, man, just thug it out. Figure it out, bro. It's just a new set of problems that we got to deal with. We're human beings. We are amazing the brain capacity. We'll figure it out. All of us, yeah, all of us, even these dodo heads, you can figure it out.

Speaker 1:

Chicken guy, chicken guy, figure it out. You know what the water thing may mean the natural instinct. The experience of what I experienced, I'm no longer afraid of any water, and this is why, once you had a toxic woman, serve you moon water.

Speaker 4:

There's nothing else to worry about, and you're like once you drink moon water, it's good. Is that like her bath water?

Speaker 1:

No, I wish I love bath water. Bottle it up, baby. What are we doing when?

Speaker 4:

I'm with my girl. I'm obsessed. Do I need to go? Is this like a thing I need to do? I don't know. I explain it's very easy.

Speaker 1:

You're actually like, wow, that's so ridiculous. So when you're dealing with it, there's levels of toxicity when it comes to women.

Speaker 3:

Wait, which one is this? Is this.

Speaker 1:

Eminem. This is the one that I had two babies with two fake babies. Eminem, Two potentials Eminem. Oh, yes, I'm going to. Oh man, I know you're talking about the candy or the R rapper. Moon water is very simple, as you take water in whatever contraption you want a bowl, a bucket? This one was, and this hot new was the next level, because it's not just that I'm having more. It was in a huge jar, a huge jar. I'm like who just has a huge jar laying around. But anyway, you put the water in the jar and you sit it outside while there's a full moon and you let it absorb the nutrients from the moon. So I knew the second.

Speaker 1:

Little faith after you watching. Oh, and this is how I discovered it I'm sitting in her living room At this point. I don't know that I'm in the living room of a lesbian couple. I thought this was my lady. She was somebody else's lady and I looked to the right.

Speaker 4:

This was everybody, lady.

Speaker 1:

This was a big jar of water and I'm like is that like some weird thing that like maybe flies will be away, like I didn't know when she's like no, that's moon water. And then she expressed to me what moon water was and I should have known I was going to have two fake children with her and you drunk it at that moment. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

How did you feel afterwards?

Speaker 1:

I very revitalized, you know. Yeah. I debuted, as it was all sexual using the relationship.

Speaker 3:

So you was like well, you thought you was out for it.

Speaker 1:

That was early on. I was in the relationship yet. But um but yeah, after you drink moon water, don't know nothing, You're not scared of anything, no more. That's why I was able to drink this drink she brought us with confidence.

Speaker 4:

It's like it is what it is I drank that I could drink anything at this point. I drink. Move what out of a jar but this, your drink, tastes better than the moon water.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, all right. So before we got to get out of here, we had some like discussions, because we always talk about like TV shows when we you know, as far as I know me and movies, what is a TV show that you would bring back like that? You remember that was like and they cancelled it, but you would bring it back for like some more seasons. What is one of those shows for you?

Speaker 4:

I got one fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Speaker 3:

They brought it back. No, not not.

Speaker 4:

Original cast members like them now where they're at now, like well, they can't Feel. But well, yeah, but man, I was there, would have been like more what?

Speaker 1:

he could be haunting the house, which I feel oh yeah.

Speaker 3:

The first one of course, when she was dancing and she did.

Speaker 4:

Oh yeah, yes, I feel, yes, I like you that for yeah, first person was one of them.

Speaker 3:

Shows what is.

Speaker 1:

So see that what you got I know what was gonna be smacking everybody in the house Um, I I'll. You know what I'll bring back was a love and marriage, the Al Bundy show. Oh, you can do that. Now people get so mad with that show and that's why I wanted back. And his wife was bad and nobody really talked about Peggy Bundy. Peggy was, she was I'm not really into, you know. I mean I said I can't say so. Anyway, I was very excited about watching Peggy every weekend and I definitely. And she's still a good now she older. I'm sorry this isn't a perverted thing, but once again, he was very controversial. I like controversy. I would love to see that show just, and also it'll drive people crazy with all this PC stuff now. Hmm, it would be great. I would just love to watch people's squirm.

Speaker 3:

I think my show is gonna. Yes, it might see you. One of my shows that I used to watch religiously was a king or queens. Oh, that's a good show, and if they could bring that back, like I would like, I watched it every day, and and if they could bring it back, I would he didn't have kids on the show, right?

Speaker 1:

No, they should bring it back what I'm having kids? No, imagine him raising kids.

Speaker 3:

They should do that. I would do that.

Speaker 4:

What about cartoon wise?

Speaker 3:

Oh, all right. Um see, I don't know if this is like a nostalgia thing or what, but thundercats that was probably before y'all time, though. No, I saw it, but yeah, don't you do. Thundercat, thundercat, thundercat. Oh, don't you do that.

Speaker 1:

So they bring back. You know they're gonna change that last part.

Speaker 3:

Whoa, they gotta bring it back.

Speaker 1:

Just I want to see as one of these two. I either want to see hey Arnold come back, but with Gerald as the star, or Courage of Cowley dog. I like that.

Speaker 4:

Yes, I was gonna say that.

Speaker 3:

That and um the other one, rugrats yeah, they did a all grown up, but they messed it up when they all grew up, sometimes when you like there's so much space on like a second part of it.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, that time in between it was so long it doesn't like. The second part is just Like. More of my favorite movies is hocus pocus. I could see it 20 times a year. But when they came with the second part I was thrilled when I sighed I'm like.

Speaker 1:

You don't give you that part.

Speaker 4:

It was okay, but I For us waiting so long. I felt like they should. I gave us so much more and they didn't like it didn't make me happy and you guys know that I went to Massachusetts and I visited, like all the sites where they did the movies and stuff. So that's how like a fan I am of it. I feel like part two could have done a little bit more sometimes part two, like coming to America.

Speaker 3:

That's what happened with me. Like I'm. Part one was such a classic. To America, one was like such a classic and then they let all that time passing in part two. It felt like they just tried to cram, like it didn't have the same, it didn't have a story, they just had a cram like yeah. I mean, I appreciate them for bringing random walks back. You know I'm thinking that's my favorite character, but I do feel like it didn't live up to it.

Speaker 1:

So but also don't help when you passionate about something, because then you have super high, unrealistic expectations. Well, like that are never gonna be leveled up to. There's some like because it's about nostalgia. You can't recreate nostalgia, that's true.

Speaker 3:

I'll give you that. Some people did it. Some people did it. You gotta give me time to think. We can come back on the next episode.

Speaker 1:

All right, I got you all right because some people did it, or somebody say some in the comments I, maybe we like, I don't know what came back and it was better, or even Just even equally the same on.

Speaker 3:

It was crazy. I'm not even looking forward to be equal, I'm just looking forward to be good and, like I said, we're coming to America. They didn't have a story, it was just like let's cram all these actors on it. It was more about the actors and the characters more than the story. The first, coming to America, was so good because the story, and the second, when I thought they just tried to like let me just throw a bunch of stars at y'all and then this we should be good enough.

Speaker 3:

You know, I'm saying so Like I felt like they could have dead more into the Sun life and you know I didn't see it.

Speaker 1:

I'm good, I don't want to see it, I'm not interested. Yeah, I like one. It lives in my heart and soul and I'm okay with that.

Speaker 3:

One is a classic, one of my favorite movies of all time. All right, so what's something you want to leave with the people? I know we got to get out of here.

Speaker 1:

Moments are special, and they're special for a reason. Don't try to recreate a moment, because then the original moment loses value. So just be happy with you. Was that off the dome? Well, no, because that's what I was thinking when you guys were talking about like the movie thing, the part still doesn't be happy about the way the first one made its feel cherish that let's look for new memories to cherish. That's what I think now, and I was slap anybody that's disrespectful in these comments after that I don't think they could be disrespectful.

Speaker 4:

Find a way.

Speaker 1:

That's amazing baby dying to agree with my baby. I'm not gonna turn this.

Speaker 4:

I don't even know how I could top this, but I will say that I want Everyone that sees this to jump in his inbox and send them a positive quote Morning message, something for him to continue his day in a positive. We're not gonna do this real quick.

Speaker 1:

She just talked about how she's protecting. That's what it's all pretend. She just said that she cares about me and blah, blah, blah. And I just said I don't want nobody doing that because it's gonna make Me feel terrible and upset, and she's sending them away.

Speaker 4:

Opening the door for no.

Speaker 1:

No we all know people allowed into this door old people.

Speaker 4:

All right, you know me and afforded to him. There you go.

Speaker 1:

That's why, cuz she can't she can't come up with a reason on her own to speak to me about things, so she's gonna do the work for her. That's what we're anyway. What would you like to leave these?

Speaker 3:

people with wicks. Oh, I want to leave with the people. Appreciate the people that you have around you, especially if they are good people and they bring you Starbucks. Appreciate those people, because those people are rare.

Speaker 1:

And she knows I'm big and she brought me a little Starbucks. So that's another hit of message. She's oh, so I could just die a little bit. Yeah, understood, it makes sense.

Speaker 3:

Oh, makes sense. Well, we out of here episode 27. We appreciate y'all, oh my god, it's wicks. Oh my god.
