I shall explore the Teilhardian noosphere idea in light of the challenges to humanity and the planet, in the looming face of technological developments present and future, as spelled out by Pope Francis in Laudato Si' and Laudate Deum. I shall especially analyze and develop Pope Francis's call to replace the false, polarizing dialectic between humanity and nature that came to dominate modern culture with a dialectic of polarity and what this new path of polarity entails regarding planetary convergence.
