As a recovering people pleaser learning to elevate God’s opinion and to seek His pleasure above people, I was thrown through the loop when I read 1 Corinthians 10:33 “just as I try to please everyone in everything I do…” Paul intentionally tried to please everyone in everything he did. What does that mean for someone who has had to unlearn pleasing people? Is there a biblical model for pleasing people? What does this mean for boundaries? Are boundaries biblical?
