How to get more customers and how to get more sales for your small business. This is probably the top two questions that I get. All the time from small business owners, right? That's really the main things that we want. We want more customers and more sales. And that's what we're going to focus on on today's live. I'm going to talk about how to get you more customers, how to get you more sales, and also our glow up program, which is literally the best place on the internet. to do all of this and to learn how to do all this. By the way. Hi, I'm Allie D. Welcome to the live today. Yay. I'm so excited. You're here. Welcome in. Hello everybody. Just drop a comment if you're just joining because today is live. I'm really going to take you through some things that I think are so important for you and your business so that you can actually learn the skills that it takes to have a healthy thriving business. This is one of my main goals that I have for my clients, right? It's not. about getting famous online. Like who cares about that? That is not what we care about in my world. If it is for you, more power to you. But what I want you to focus on is how to get more sales and how to build a thriving business so you can live out your personal dreams, right? Sales equal money, money in the bank equals you being able to live out your personal dreams. We're not just running businesses because we feel like it. We're running businesses to make money. So we first need to get into the mindset of, okay, I'm here to create and make a successful business. I want a thriving business. I want a healthy business. And what that looks like from the inside out is regular sales every single day coming into your business. So you can build a sustainable business in the future. If you feel like sales are slow and sluggish, and you can't reach your customers yet, This is a little bit concerning to you. Obviously, that's the one thing that you really want to improve. But what I want to let you know is that you can totally learn how to do this. You can figure this out. This is not like, magic is just gonna get sprinkled on you and all of a sudden one day you're gonna have a zillion sales. You're going to have to do the work. Okay. But that's the great news in my opinion, is that all it takes is you figuring out and doing the work. And then that's how you're actually going to be able to bring in more customers and generate more sales. So we don't like to depend upon hope and chance and random things happening in the universe for us. In this community, we focus on taking the reins and making things happen for our businesses ourselves. And those When I look at my clients and I look at the ones that are, that are like killing it and really in any business, people that I see online, business, small business owners that are killing it online, I can tell immediately from looking at their content that one, they figured it out. And two, they're not scared to take the reins and do something unique and different for their businesses to help them stand out online. So let's break down a few things. So when I first started my business 10 years ago, I remember thinking like the first few years, or as I was trying to get sales to come in on more of a regular basis, I remember thinking like I really just had no clue where to start. or marketing. Like I had zero business skills when I went into this and now I have multiple seven figure businesses. Okay. If anyone can learn it, I learned it. You can learn it. Okay. That's why I'm here. I'm teaching you the next wave of women, how to do this yourselves. Okay. So I look back and I go, and I'm actually like, Holy crap. I really had no I never took a business class in college. I like ran far away from the idea of ever owning my own business, which is crazy. I had no idea that I would be a business owner. This is not something I dreamed of my whole life. This is not something that I thought was like the perfect match for me. This kind of just became something that I needed out of necessity. And you want to know the honest truth about why I started my own business is because I was not a good employee. I figured this out really fast, okay? Like, I did not want other people telling me what to do with my life every single day. I didn't want to answer to a boss. I didn't want to have set hours. And when I graduated college and I had like my first real jobs, I was like, this is, this is like, just not for me. One thing, like I remember I was a receptionist at a real estate firm. Okay. And I had to, my job was to answer the phones and then like connect them to the person they were calling for. Right. Hi Hannah. Okay. So guys, I would answer the phone and I would be like, okay, they, they want to speak with so and so. I'd be like, okay, hold on. Let me connect you to do. And then finally I went to my bosses and I was like, Why don't you just give them your phone number? Like, why do they have to call me and then I connect them to you? Like, that just seems like ridiculous. And they were like, That's literally your whole job. So obviously I was questioning the way everything was going, and I was like, okay, this is just not for me. And they were great people. They were so understanding. But at the end of the day, I was like, guys, this is not for me. Like, I'm not going to sit here and like file papers that you should just be filing yourself. Like, just do it yourself. It takes two seconds. Why are you handing it to me to do it? I just didn't get it. Right. So at a very early age, I understood that entrepreneurship was the way that I was going to have a happy life because I could not, I could not. going into some like an office from eight to five or whatever it is. And so many of you do it and you are great at that and now you want to build your own business. Like kudos to you because that takes so much discipline. For me, I wasn't good at that from the get go. Like that was just not something that was in the cards for me. So I started my own businesses and I, I, you know, I had different ideas and different business ideas and things like that. But that Then when I started my businesses that I have now, this is like 10 years ago, um, I really fell into something that I am so passionate about. So I quickly like was like, okay, I need to figure out how to make this work. Cause this is for me. This is what I love. I love selling products. I love having customers. I love sales. I love creating products. I love connecting with people about products. So like all the things. Were signs that said, okay, this is it for me. So what I did was I decided That I needed to figure out how to learn how to get good at this And for so long way too long I was winging it I was just hoping and praying that I was going to figure it out I didn't really understand and back then there wasn't the same type of education at your fingertips like you have now you're watching this live We're talking about this right now, but back in the day That education was not available at your fingertips. So I had to seek out people that I thought could help me. And I remember the first, um, course I ever bought was a 2, 500 marketing course. Now, for me, this was literally like spending my life savings at the time. I was like, Holy, I cannot believe I'm going to spend this much money. But I, It wasn't really so much about that because that was obviously really scary. But the scarier thing was like, what if I do this and then I don't have what it takes to be successful. That was really what the scary part. It's like the money, it comes and goes, right? It's, it's just like a transactional thing. But the scary thing was like believing in myself and, and, and going like, okay, Allie, yeah, you've never had a business class in your life. So let's, let's, let's figure this out. You can do this. That was the scary thing. Okay. So once we got over that and I started diving and by the way, as soon as I started learning, I was like, I got this. Okay. We're going to totally do this. But it was just getting over that little step Which was little in the, in hindsight, but Allie back then, that was a massive leap of faith, like massive, right? It was not something where I was just like, ah, here you go, blah, blah, blah. Like, this was like, am I going to do this? And I went back and forth in my head a zillion times. Like, is this for me? Can I do this? What if, what if, what if? All the what ifs in the world were on your girl's shoulders. Like, I. I am like, I still can't believe that I, at the end of the day, was able to say, okay, let's go. And that I actually invested in myself and did it So I'm like, thank God you made that decision and you didn't just throw in the towel or say, well, I'll just give it another six months or another year. Because what happens, and I see this all the time, is like you feel like you need a change in your business and you feel like you're ready to go, but that fear of like you not. being able to figure it out. Are you not succeeding? Are you not like whatever the what if is for you holds you back? And so another three months goes by, another six months goes by, another year goes by and you're still out there just lone wolfing it, trying to wing it, trying to figure it out on your own. And that ends up it. You'll be in a very frustrated, overwhelmed place instead of just saying, okay, I know I have what it takes and it doesn't matter whether it's a dollar or twenty five hundred dollars or ten thousand dollars, whatever the thing is for you. The dollar amount doesn't even matter. It's more about you taking the step as the person and being like, okay, I'm ready to do this. That's what it all boils down to. Okay. It's, it's at the end of the day, that's the reality. It's like having the trust in ourselves to be able to do it. And so looking back and going, Thank goodness I did that. Thank goodness I took that step. I learned what I needed to learn and that course really was the foundation for my seven figure businesses because it taught me so much that I needed to know about marketing and business. Now here's the thing that wasn't great is that it wasn't specifically geared towards people who sell physical products. It was more of just like a generic business course for people in marketing and sales. Okay, but it wasn't specific to what we do, which is sell physical products, whether it's in your brick and mortar online, pop up shops on Etsy, your own website, whatever the case may be. We have to have a specific skill set. that's more niche, that's more nuanced than just like any old small business owner. So the reason why I started this new program called Glow Up was because I looked back and said, okay, there was a lot of great things that I learned in that type of course, but I don't really want just a course for you because I don't feel like that's where the true knowledge and the reps and education come in. I feel like it's yes, There's trainings, but then there's also the action step and in the action step, taking that step alone, taking that step by yourself can feel really scary because you just still feel like you're out there hoping that the training you're actually doing it right. So when I was thinking of a new program for my clients and what would best benefit them, as I've seen and worked with so many students now and so many clients over the past year and a half in this industry, I felt like The trainings are obviously an integral step. Everybody needs to have these trainings if they want to get better at selling online. If you want more customers, if you want to learn how to grow your business, if you want more sales, if you want to stand out, you have to learn the skills, the basic skills first. Now, I have clients all across the board where sometimes they can learn the skills and then immediately implement and see the results. I have other clients where it takes more. We need to work through a bunch of things. We need to figure it out, which all of them are amazing. And there's, there's no right or wrong here. I happen to be the type of client where it takes me like in my own mentorship that I'm in. It takes me a while to work through the strategy. I'm not someone that you can just tell me here's what to do go do it I'm like, okay, then I have to think about it. I have to write things out. I have to kind of like let it marinate So I have all all different kinds of students and there is no best student okay, cuz I don't want to think that I'm a bad student just because I'm not someone that can instantly like Capture it all. Okay. It takes my brain a minute to like the hamster has to like get on the wheel and be like, Okay, let me think about this. Okay. Some people are not like that. I have both clients. I have some that get it and go and I have some that get it and need to think. They need help. They need action. They need more conversation. They need to work it out, right? So with glow up, the cool thing about this is yes, you get all the trainings, which are either video trainings or audio trainings, where I teach you how to get more customers, how to get more sales, all the things, but you also get access to me every single week where you can come in and ask me questions on the trainings that you're learning. So it's you being like, okay, I've got the education side, but I want help with the implementation side. And that's why glow up is so great. And so unique because it's a living, breathing space. So it's to be specific, every single Tuesday is the day that you will have weekly Q and a with me. And I feel like this has worked so well with my clients is where. You'll learn the trainings on your own, or you can watch wherever you feel like you need specific help in your business. We have trainings for, for a lot. This is why this program is game changing and there's nothing like this on the internet for store owners like us. Like this does not exist. This didn't exist for me and I wish it would have because I would have already been at eight figures by now, hands down, had I had this help and early on in my business. Okay. I still had to, even though I had a course, I still had to figure out the implementation on my own. I couldn't go to the course creator and be like, Hey, I need help with figuring out what do you mean about niching down? Like, I don't get it. Can you help me? This is what I sell. Can you help me? I didn't have that. Okay. And with glow up, you do. That's the exciting amazing thing about this program is it's not just me and again This has been developed after spending the last year and a half working with you guys and figuring out What is the best thing for my clients? How do they grow the fastest? How do they get the best results? Why something like glow up was created? Because I've seen it from you guys. I see how you work. You're hard workers. You want it. You're not lazy girl business owners Okay, this is one thing that kills me when I'm like when I see things like the lazy way to build a seven figure business I'm like girl. There is no lazy way to build a seven figure business. It is hard work. I don't care what industry you're in It takes hard work and it takes skill, but it's not impossible It's not something that's out of the realm for you. This is not something that like is just like a pipe dream. Like, Oh, I want a seven figure business. Like I'm trying to normalize. And the reason why I say this all the time is I want to normalize the idea of you making seven figures in your business. This is not something that you can't do or is not available for you. That's what I would've thought back in the day. I would've been like, Seven figures? What? Like, how is the girl with no business experience gonna, gonna create seven figure businesses, let alone multiple, and buy multiple pieces of real estate, and have a warehouse, and have employees, and the whole frickin thing, I have showrooms at the Dallas Market Center, where the rent there alone, I swear I could rent an entire building in downtown Dallas for what I pay for our showrooms, okay? I don't know. But that was not even in, like, my vision, like, I didn't even think that was possible. That wasn't even on my radar of, like, what could even happen. So where are you holding yourself back, thinking like, Oh, well, I would just like to make, like, a couple thousand dollars a month. Great, but you are capable of so much more, especially when you have something like Glow Up to give you the tools to get there. So that's literally, I mean, Why I created this this program because I just knew that this was something that was going to be so game changing for you and for Your business and I want you to know that this is not something that's far off for you. You are totally capable of this Like let that sink in This is not something that is like just again a pipe dream that happens to other people People that get this kind of success make it happen for themselves That's all you need to do is take the reins and go, okay, I'm going to make this happen for myself. You know what? I'm not going to be the person that's going to wait another three months, six months, a year to actually go, okay, well now I'm ready. Like all you're going to do is be a year behind. And that's a year of frustration and a year of questioning. What if this and that, and like, instead of just going, okay, I'm gonna do it right now. We're going, we're coming upon the fourth, we're in the fourth quarter. Right. This is like the most important time of the entire year for our businesses. If you sell physical products, welcome to the fourth quarter. This is when it goes down. So get yourself in the game, get ready, do record breaking numbers. And it's not something where you're just like, well, I'm going to go in and just like suck the life out of everything for the next like three to four months. Like, I, I don't want you to feel that that's what it's like when you join mentorship or you join a coaching problem that you're coaching. program problem. There is problems, but I don't want you to feel like that every single day you have this pressure to just like get in and figure it out, get in, figure it out. Like, I want you to know that this can be part of your journey. And it's something that you should enjoy. You should wake up and go, I can't wait to see what I'm going to bring to my customers today and how I can communicate better so I can get more sales and grow my business and buy the Airbnb on the Florida coast that I want or whatever it is that your personal dreams are. This is bringing it back to those personal dreams that we forget as business owners. We have our own things we want to do. We love our customers. We love our business, but we don't want that to be our lives. We have other things we want to do. We want to go on vacation, maybe. Maybe you want to go fly first class to Italy. Maybe you and your husband want to like go float around the ocean in a yacht. I don't know. Whatever it is, whatever your personal dreams are, don't put those on the back burner. That's part, they go hand in hand with being a business owner. For me, It was being able to work from home, have kids, raise my kids, you know, be the stay at home or work from home mom. That was a big goal for me. Granted, I didn't have kids until I was 40, but that was my personal goal, was getting there. Was, you know, making sure I could set it up so that could happen. And I have other personal dreams, living in the country, wide open spaces, I'm looking out my window right now and I do not see another house, okay? I just see grass and hills and cows. That's my personal dreams. So it's really not letting go of your personal dreams, you have to have those like right here, like on your shoulder at all times. Cause that's gonna be your motivation. Your motivation can't just be sales and numbers and customers and analytics and vanity metrics. Your motivation is so much deeper. It's your personal dreams. So glow up is how can we glow up your entire person, your entire business? How can we glow up into your next era? Mm hmm. So for me right now, I'm in an era where I'm trying to become an eight figure company. So I have new things I'm trying, new focuses, new books, new studying, new education. I have multiple mentors that are helping me get there that specify or have, uh, specialties in different areas. Okay, things that I know as an eight figure business owner, I'm going to need to get there. It's not going to be doing more of the same. If I do, it's going to take me years. But if I level up certain areas that I know I need to level up in, I need to glow up in, that's what's going to get me to my next level. So it's the same thing for you. Whether you're just starting out as a business owner, maybe you haven't even launched your business yet and you're still thinking you're in the planning stages. We all have our own glow up areas. And by the way, the glow up program, I don't care what, what level you're at. You could be not even launched yet. You could be two K a month. You could be five K. You could be 10 K. You could be a hundred K a month. It's not about where you are in terms of your sales numbers. It's about where you're going. What does the future you want? That's what I as a coach My purpose is to bring out the best in you so you can reach the future you that you want to become That's all I care about. I Want you to have your personal dreams. I Want them to be a reality? I Don't want them to just be dreams. So my whole the whole thing that I do in glow up is focused on helping you Become the best business owner. You can be at the level you're at so you can get to the next levels. We just glow up over and over. Glow ups don't happen one time and you're like, I'm done. I've had a zillion glow ups over the past 10 years. Okay. And you will too. And that's the great thing is I look back and I go, Oh my God, that was great. But now look at where we are and you look back and that was great. But now look at where you are and like the struggles or the frustrations that you've gone through or the questions, the indecision, all of that is part of the process. Okay. So don't ever think like, it was a bad decision or something that held you back. Like it's, it's in the past. We appreciate and are grateful for everything that's gone on in the past, but now we know it's time to take the reins if we want to glow up. So that is the whole point. of the glow up program. She'll give me the exact answer. And instead of me spending months going, what the heck is my brain doing trying to figure it out? It's like I get the answer from her in a two minute voice note. Something that would have taken me six months to figure out. That's so valuable to a business owner. And it's the same thing with me, with my clients. You can pop in, you can ask me a question. I could give you an answer in two minutes to have you on your way so you know what to fricking do. And you're not just twiddling your thumbs over there going, what the heck am I going to do to make this happen? Okay. So I'm so excited for this program.
