Hello. Welcome to the show. Hope you're having an amazing day so far and you are ready to spend a little bit of time with me learning more about how you can be the best fricking business owner in the entire world. So you make all the sales you want and you grow a massive, incredible business that you're like, Holy crap, I can't believe this is my life. Oh, it's the best. And I want this for you so much. And this is why I started this entire community and inside one of the programs I've started for this community is called the trendsetter membership. We are in the middle of 12 days of trend setting where I'm going over different ways to set you up for 2025, different hacks, different tools that you can have in your back pocket as a business owner to make sure you are setting yourself up for success. And this week, one of the trainings we talked about, excuse me, I have a cold again, thanks to my son being in pre K. We are sick every other week, so we got something new this week. But anyways, if I have to clear my throat, we're just gonna do it. have to apologize right now before it. So we don't have to say it every time, but when we were inside the 12 days of trendsetting this week, I was taught one. One of the lessons that I talked about was gifts of gratitude and how something so simple in your business can actually make you crazy amount of money. And this is not something that you would like. It's not a normal sales tactic. It's not a normal strategy or hack, but what it is is a way that you could drastically improve the success for your business. And I'll tell you why. First of all, I've seen this in myself when I've seen it in myself and I've seen it in my clients. So let me talk to you about myself first and then I'll share it with you some client stuff so you know exactly how to do this in your business. So back in 2023 early 2023 was a really rough year for us. It was probably the worst time I'd ever have in business. It was like a, solid I would say like six to 12 weeks where I was like, Oh my gosh, what is going on? Sales were like pulling teeth. It was really hard to get any momentum going. The world was kind of in a weird place in terms of like, people weren't just weren't really buying. And I was hearing this. Time and time again from, you know, different people that I would talk to and conversations that I would have. And I really got stuck in a rut to the point where I almost didn't even recognize myself because I was so overwhelmed with feeling of doom. And the feeling of like, Oh my gosh, I just spent 10 years growing this business. And now, you know, look at this, this, I mean, I was in a tailspin like no other. And really, honestly, I was, I was, I was making it mean. Just those like, you know, six weeks, 12 weeks that were not great. I was making it mean like that I was a horrible, horrible business owner, and I don't have like the skills that it takes. And oh my gosh. And like, I can't believe that everything is going to fall apart. And I'm never going to get another sale again or find another customer again or move any inventory. Have y'all ever been in one of these tailspins? It's so crazy. So common as a business owner. So I just wanna let you know what happens to me. We're human. It happens to everybody. But one of the main ways that we can control this and actually snap ourselves out of it, is through gifts of gratitude and specifically focusing on you and your mind's. So what happens is when things aren't working, we tend to get hyper focused on the things that aren't working. And what this does is it trains your mind in this kind of weird but scientific way that, um, the more negativity you have, the more negativity it will create. So it kind of just like, um, makes those thoughts, Blossom and grow into bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger thoughts because you're feeding them that first initial seed, if you will, that says, oof, I don't know if I can do this. I dunno if I can do this because, and then you start creating all the reasons in your head. I don't know if I could, this. Because I don't have the skills that it, that it takes. I'm not confident on camera. I don't have cute inventory. I don't know what I'm doing on email marketing. I don't know what I'm doing in TikTok. Wait a second. I don't know what I'm doing at all. Why did I even start my business? I'm a horrible business owner. Can you see how this can kind of like spiral? So here's the deal. This is normal because this is how the human brain works. It helps flourish whatever thoughts we feed it, right? I've talked about this before. It's a breeding ground. It's a garden. It doesn't know what you're planting, but it's job is to just make it flourish. We love you brain, but sometimes we need to snap you back into reality. And that's what gifts of gratitude can do. And that's why this training, by the way, inside the trendsetter membership is literally worth a zillion dollars. If I were you, I would jump in and listen to the whole thing because I talk about three ways that gifts of gratitude can drastically change you. It's, it's focusing on three areas, your business, your customers, and you. Um, but I want to focus on you today cause this is, That's where it all starts. So instead of focusing on what's wrong, I need you to focus on what's right. So in 2023, when everything was going spazzy for me and my head and I was all over the place, I remember I was at the barn and I said to myself, what's the F Allie? Like who, what are you? Who are you right now? Like I had never really gotten to the point where I was just like, blah, you know, I could usually pull myself out of it in a week or so, but this was just like an ongoing thing. And so I had to decide right then in that moment that I was not that person. I was not going to be the person who entertained conversations internally or externally, meaning I was not going to let these internal conversations rule my thought process because I knew at the end of the day it was causing me to stay where I was and in fact moving me backwards. So I was not going to entertain the conversations in my head anymore and especially As soon as one came up in my head, I would say, Nope, sorry, I'm not that person anymore. Go find someone else to have the conversation with. And this was like literally the internal chatter I was having. And then externally people would want to have that conversation with me, whether it's at Dallas market or in a DM or online or whatever the case may be. And I would just have to politely. Exit out of the conversation because I knew having those conversations, they just drag you down into that bad mentality. There's no way you can grow a business from a place of lack, from a place of scaredy, right? How are we expected to grow our businesses when we think we lack everything? We can't move forward in order to actually grow. We have to focus on the good. So the best thing that I will tell you today from this conversation, and again, I've seen this with my clients and I've seen it in myself, is deciding that you are not going to be the person That's going to focus on the bad. You're going to focus on the good. This one simple like, hello, duh, aha moment change. Literally like it was wild in the blink of an eye changed everything for me and my business. I made the decision in the barn. I was like petting the horses, giving them water. And I was like, I'm not this person. This is not me. We are going to have the best year yet. We are going to turn things around. We have. So many amazing things that we do. We have the best products on the freaking universe. I'm obsessed with what we do. I'm obsessed with all of the showroom and the warehouse and my employees and everything that we've built. Holy crap. I'm an amazing business owner. Wow. This is just a rough couple of months and just, that's all it was. Not making it mean so much about us ourselves in our business It was just a rough patch which is part of life as an entrepreneur and It was a big lesson for me and it'll be a big lesson for you And if this is you right now, this is your lesson you have to pull yourself out of that and it starts with being thankful for what you already do have and recognizing that you are And actually spending time to be like, okay, here's the good. And then we just focus on the good. So after I decided that in the barn, literally within the hour, my VP of operations, Brenda called me, she was at the showroom in Dallas. It was kind of a, you know, slow week and she just said, Allie, you're never going to believe this. And I was like, in my head, I was like, I already know because I already know how powerful the mind is and how mindset can literally change everything for you on a dime. But sometimes you'll be tested in moments like this to trust yourself and to build faith. And this was one of those moments. So as soon as I saw the phone ringing, I already knew what she was going to say. She said, Allie, we just had the biggest. sale we've had all week. It was so big that it was bigger than all the other sales we've had combined. And it was by happenstance, the buyers actually had been complaining that no one really was like giving them attention. Everybody was, you know, either closed early or not there. And they had flown in on their private jet to come to Dallas market center to shop for their store. And they were so disappointed in everybody but us. Because we were still open and Brenda, you guys is the best person in the world. She will never close early. She is so enthusiastic and happy. If you've had a chance to meet her before, some of my clients have been to market and they'd be everybody loves Brenda. Okay. So she, with that personality and also not closing early and being the ones that were like, we are here for you. They spent all their money with us. So I already knew when I made that mindset, everything was going to change. And it literally happened before my eyes. And I laughed and I told Brenda the whole story about how I had just decided in the barn that we were not going to accept anything less than what our, our best can be. And she was laughing and I was laughing and we're both of this. You know, we both believe in this very strongly because we, we, I mean, it's reality, right? It's scientific. This is not woo woo. This is actual reality. I have also seen this in my clients, even two private clients that I had last. week. I had this conversation with them because listen, people usually don't come to me when they're at their best, right? They come to me because they're needing some help with their businesses. My first, uh, you know, goal, the first thing we do always is I like to see where their mind is at because this one shift that I can make with them can really create this massive domino effect where things get drastically better. Soon. So fast. And at the end of the day, it was them. You know, it's me being your guide, seeing what's going on from a, you know, a bird's eye view and going, yep, I've seen this. I've been there. I've seen this time and time again with myself, with clients. I know how to get you out of this, getting them out of it. And then literally it's wild. Within 24 to 48 hours, things start turning around. So where are you so focused on the bad that you're not even letting the good have a chance to flourish? This is your time. This is the moment. I want you to say to yourself, I am not that person anymore. Even if you don't 100 percent believe it, just say it. Just tell your mind. I'm not that person anymore. We focus on the good and we push forward. We have determination. We have willpower. We do have amazing. We have an amazing store. We have an amazing business. I have amazing. Even if you have one customer, you got to recognize that the more you focus on the good, the more good you will create. I'm going to say that again. The more you focus on the good, the more good you will create. You guys, I got so much feedback in the membership from this training, and this was just one third of the piece.
