What’s On Deck is a podcast about talking to various professionals, authors, influencers, business/health professionals, to gain insight in/out of the the world around us. If you are as curious as I am in discovering and learning new things then you are in the right place. My name is Tom Swaczyna, and like most of you I'm eager to challenge myself and learn. My goal is to dive deep into various topics that I know we are all thinking about and maybe even looking to try and do, but never have the courage for.

Episode 1 - Mark Ryall - Cross Country Runner
Mark Ryall recently retired from teaching economics at Hillfield Strathallan
College in Hamilton, Ontario. Mark has written two books Age-Decoded, a speculative fiction and Run Daughter, Run Father, a book which dives into the world of cross country running.

Mark also competes in triathlons and represented Canada in the 2019 ITU
World Age-Group Championships in Lausanne, Switzerland. He also
recently competed in the World Age-Group Championships in Spain in
2023.
