Speaker 1:

You are listening to the Double A Club and this is your host, ny Boom, and my co-host, big Daz. We'll be talking about trending topics in healthcare and basically, just as a disclaimer just to let the listeners know that this is just basically on our opinions and speculations and I hope you guys enjoy the show. Let's start off and kick off with our first topic.

Speaker 2:

Well, I got some new celebrity news. So there's some celebrities that have been abusing the diabetic drug called Ozempic and Wegovy for weight loss. Oh yeah.

Speaker 3:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

Yes, and the reason why these two drugs are being so highly used is because it's effective. It actually works to lose weight. The problem is it's for diabetics. One of the things that this, this product, does is suppresses appetite. Now I'll get into how it does that a little bit later. Right now, I want to discuss how these celebrities are causing a global shortage and I'm saying global, global shortage of this drug.

Speaker 3:

Wow, that's a lot.

Speaker 2:

Yes. So there are millions of type 2 diabetics who need Ozempic and Wegovi to control their diabetes, their insulin, their sugar, and they can't get access to the drug because these celebrities are buying all of it or as much as they can and they're putting and they're having short supplies for people who actually need it. Now one of these celebrities and this is allegedly is Kim Kardashian. The media has accused her of using the diabetic drug. They've also accused Kendall Jenner and I don't know if you remember, if you know this comedian, chelsea Handler. She used to date 50 Cent, but she came out in her comedy special and she actually admitted that she used the diabetic drug.

Speaker 2:

Hmm, elon Musk has tweeted about using the drug, and Kyle Richards, michael Rubin and many other TikTok influencers have admitted using drugs and actually put TikTok videos about their weight loss while using the drug. And this is just a handful of people that I was able to grab. There's probably so many more celebrities using this drug to lose weight and the thing is that they're buying it in books, like they're not just buying one, they're buying books, they're buying a lot of it, so it's creating a shortage for people who really have diabetic diabetes. They're on medicine wow, that's bad.

Speaker 3:

Thank god you know that's one of the reasons. Unfortunately, I am diabetic, but that is one of the reasons why I do not take meds. But I also. I died very well and I exercise, so it's very I don't I would die alone. You can control well, you control type 2 diabetes. Like. I can only speak of experience yeah and also no.

Speaker 2:

That one is not. That's one with it.

Speaker 3:

I I mean dieting would be weight loss. So you are going to get your weight loss because of the way you eat.

Speaker 2:

And it's sad because for diabetics, you know I'm saying, if they don't get the drugs that they need for to control their sugar right, they can suffer heart attacks, they can suffer strokes, strokes. Jamie Foxx just had a fucking stroke that that all your a media he just had a stroke.

Speaker 2:

he literally they say he's paralyzed and is blind from one eye. No, he almost died because of the stroke. This is what they're saying that he had what. Like I said, I don't know how truthful that is, because they also have some other. There's like two or three other things that they say that was the cause of his hospitalization. But I think the more realistic one, the one that kind of fits a little bit better, might be the stroke. But you know what I'm saying?

Speaker 2:

If a diabetic doesn't get his medicine, if he's prescribed Ozempic and Regovian, that's basically the only medicine he can use, because he can't use the other ones for whatever reason. He could suffer heart attack, he could suffer a stroke, he could get blindness, he could get limbs amputated. If it's a woman, they can have miscarriages or stillborn birth Wow. So there's a lot of negative effects to someone who is unable to get the medicine. And these fucking celebrities are just getting it because they want to lose weight. Well, listen, you know what I'm saying Take your fat ass to the gym, get yourself a nutritionist and fucking do it that way. Don't fucking try to get some medicine that, if you know, if someone else doesn't get. It could possibly fucking die.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you're taking people's lives at risk with this. You know what?

Speaker 3:

I'm saying yeah, yeah, god Like, for example Mark.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, for example Mark Wahlberg. You know what I'm saying. Remember Mark Wahlberg?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I know who Mark Wahlberg is.

Speaker 2:

Yeah Well, he's a fitness fanatic, you know, and like this guy's, he's a little bit off the rocker. He has a 4 am Club where he kind of wakes up at 4 am and he trains himself or he trains people at his eyes. New fitness Gym, right? So there are 45 of it. Yes, that 45. I think it is. So he hires the nutritionist to make his food.

Speaker 3:

He hires a nutritionist to make his food yeah, of course he has a cooking online, so why the fuck can't Kim Kardashian do it with as much money as they fucking have?

Speaker 2:

the whole family, each member of the family, are multi-millionaires. What the fuck? You got a fucking bio, zepic, yeah, and put people's lives at risk.

Speaker 3:

You got a fucking bio Zempik.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and put people's lives at risk because you're too lazy to go to the fucking gym or hire a fucking chef or a nutritionist.

Speaker 3:

Oh, that is exactly your answer. Unfortunately, that is exactly your answer unfortunately.

Speaker 2:

Well, the crazy thing is the. The drug has side effects to it, right? People who use drugs get an aging face. Now it's called an ozempic face and if you see chelsea chelsea chandler's last comedy special, you can tell her face looks older. Her body looked great because she lost all this weight. She looked a little fit and everything, but her face looks older. She has more wrinkles. It's like the skin just bag thing. She just looked at him. She has an ozempic face and it's one of the side effects to using this drug because of the weight loss. Also, another side effect is the ass. The booty gets saggy skin. It gets ozempic booty. Imagine Kim Kardashian with a saggy booty.

Speaker 3:

That's sad.

Speaker 2:

That is that is. That is that is Other side effects to using drugs is, you know, they get nauseous, vomiting, they get diarrhea, abdominal pain, sometimes they get constipation. You know what I'm saying? These are things that happen for taking the drug. You think that a diabetic wants to fucking take this drug? No, they don't want to be diabetic. But guess what, if they have to take this drug because they can't take other drugs, they have to take this drug to control their sugar. But these fucking celebrities prioritize losing weight other than people's lives.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

And here's the criteria. There's a criteria for using this drug. Right the criteria. And as I tell you this criteria, you're gonna see that none of these celebrities are meet the criteria. You have to have a 27 or higher BMI. I don't think any body mass index. Basically, you got to be like a certain amount of pounds overweight and, I'm sorry to say this, other than Kim Kardashian having a big butt, her BMI is not over 27. They have to have heart disease I don't think any of those celebrities have heart disease and they have to have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I don't know if those celebrities that use it have it or not, but I think I Think it's pretty safe to say that they don't. They're not really fitting these criterias to use this drug. So why are the doctors issuing them drugs? Because they have money.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's exactly what.

Speaker 2:

Yes, that's exactly what I was. And then here's some other issues that the drug can cause, and this is, I believe, for a longer use of time. It can inflame the pancreas. It could change the person's vision. It can lower their blood sugar to a point where it's too low. It can cause kidney problems. It can cause gallbladder problems. It can also cause acid reflux due to the suppression of the appetite. The ingredient that suppresses the appetite can cause acid reflux wow, wow, that's a lot.

Speaker 2:

That's a lot of decoins yeah, it's a pharmaceutical drug, so you know it's not going to be safe. Yeah, you're right, and they're just still doing it. I hope Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner and all them people that use this shit, they get fucking ozempic face, ozempic ass and fucking stuck with diarrhea for the rest of their life. You know what I'm saying? Like for fucking taking this goddamn drug and creating a shortage for real diabetics who need this drug to get. Yeah, and the reason why this ozempic drug is so effective is because ozempic helps produce insulin and it lowers the amount of sugar in the blood by disposing the blood sugar, and that helps improve the glycemic. It helps the glycemic control. Okay, so that's why this drug is so effective. Yeah, but the people who need it are the diabetics, not regular people. And especially if you got money, come on, man, like, hire, go to a gym, get yourself a trainer, get a diet program, get a nutritionist, do all this stuff. Like you know, some of these male actors who set themselves, who get in these action hero or superhero roles, what they're doing is that they're going to the gym, they're hiring a trainer for the time frame, they're hiring a chef or a nutritionist For whatever time frame that that movie is allowing them to get their body straight. That's what they're doing. They're not taking Zempik or drugs, you know what I'm saying. They're fucking preparing themselves for success. And then, when they're filming their movie, all they have to do is like, for example, if they're going to do like a shirtless scene, they're just going to cut water the day before or two days before so they could be all sucked out of water and and be as mean as possible for that movie. But other than that, I mean like, they're not putting nobody's lives at risk. That's the. That's what I'm trying to say. Anything, yeah, if anything, they're putting their lives. Yes, they're putting their lives at risk.

Speaker 2:

Because this guy, matt Damon I don't know what movie it was, but I think he was he was playing a drug, a drug addict, and he lost so much weight for that role that I think he messed up one of his organs and I believe I like to say maybe it's his kidney. He fucked it up really bad and he's like you've got to go to the doctor constantly. They're trying to, I guess, fix the problem or whatever. I don't know how you fix that, but they're doing something whatever. And he put on more weight. Now, if you see him, he has a chunky face and a chunky body. He's not fat, but he's just not in the shape that he was before. And it's all because of that, because he can't continue doing those diets.

Speaker 3:

Damn that sucks, that does suck.

Speaker 2:

Mm-hmm so man. I'd like to say, if anybody, any celebrity, listens to this podcast, or any people who know a celebrity using this podcast, yo and you're using this diabetic drug get off the diabetic drug.

Speaker 3:

Stop doing it.

Speaker 2:

For real. You know what I'm saying. You're playing with people's health and life with this. You know what I'm saying, because it's not with this. You know what I'm saying, because it's not that easy. You know what I'm saying.
