Ever wondered what it's like inside the world of anime creation? Today, we pull back the curtain on the anime industry, as we discuss the intense working conditions at MAPPA Studios, home of Jujutsu Kaisen. Our hearts go out to these hardworking animators, completing episodes at the eleventh hour. We also address the statement from MAPPA's founder, acknowledging the extreme pressure the studio faces. We advocate for intervention from the Japanese government and hope for a better future for these dedicated workers.

Moving from the creators to the consumers, we turn our attention to the recent fandom disputes surrounding Attack on Titan and One Piece. Tensions are running high, and we can't help but feel a bit frustrated with the immaturity. Let's remember to enjoy different forms of media without resorting to online squabbles. Speaking of fandoms, we celebrate the return of the Berserk manga and encourage you all to catch up on the series.

Finally, we chat about our recent adventure to Universal Studios Japan and the historical city of Kyoto. Sharing the highs and the lows, from new attractions to overwhelming crowds, we recount our experiences in vivid detail. We even offer a wealth of advice for those considering their first trip to Japan. And for all you collectors out there, you'll want to stick around for our tales of hunting for rare anime merchandise in the bustling streets of Japan's cities. Join us for an episode filled with appreciation for anime, respect for the creators, and a love for the culture and experiences Japan offers.

Speaker 1:

Yo, yo, yo, yo yo yo, what's up, guys, we're back. We're back from our five week vacation vacation, yeah, from our lives. Yeah, from our lives. Got a love it in Australia, yeah, so we're back from the world of. This is really like sorry yeah there, we go there, we go there, we go. Same height as him, yeah okay so we're back from Japan, guys, and we will get to that, yeah, in the second half of this video yeah started off.

Speaker 1:

We've had some that's some, I guess sad news slash, kind of news we all kind of knew yeah, we all knew what's happening, but it's come to a head finally, yeah yeah, they've finally gone against their contracts.

Speaker 3:

Yes, yeah here we talking about the animators the animators working for MAPPA where MAPPA studios, the, specifically the animators on Juju's the kaijin yes so I'm just looking up an article.

Speaker 1:

If you know like, give them a quick brief down and I'll get some, some details yeah.

Speaker 3:

So what's happened is the animators had to sign a literally a contract saying that they wouldn't say anything bad or release any any inner workings of what happens behind the scenes at MAPPA studios. But I think they're just fed up at the moment because they're literally finishing the animations literal minutes, like probably 10 minutes, tens of minutes before. That's so ridiculous. Yeah, the episode is released, so they're and like it's not that they're finishing it properly, it's like an incomplete finish, like it's a rushed finish.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, even though at the same time, imdb is giving these episodes 9.89.9 is.

Speaker 1:

They are good episode as like incomplete episodes.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you know what I mean wonder what they're like.

Speaker 1:

Complete vision is yeah, well that's awesome means I got really high standards. So the animators obviously trying to get their asses off. I'm trying to put out some good content, yeah, but I think it's important for like anime fans to think about people making the product 100% love yeah watch, because I think we can all say jujitsu kaijin season 2 has been a liar literal it's been great top grade.

Speaker 1:

So I think, do what you can. Don't let the, don't let MAPPA. If MAPPA is gonna shut up, the animators just keep bringing it to light on whatever platform, or hopefully we can shed some light as well, and you guys chat around also just pay for your pay for the anime.

Speaker 3:

Well, you pay for your anime, dude, that's the one way you can help is pay for your anime.

Speaker 1:

But I mean this one's a bit different because I've heard they're like got beds yeah, next to their like station and I'm like ridiculous, that's fucking ridiculous.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's kind of 18 hour days, yeah dude it's.

Speaker 1:

It's not good, it's not a good way to do it. What do we got here? So apparently the reason is the person who started MAPPA came out after and one of the animators came on Twitter and pretty much complained about the working situations and everyone was like, well, yeah, that's fucked. He came out and said, well, we're trying to chase, you know, the other studios and they've been doing it for years.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so their way of doing that was cramming in everything yeah, and the workers do crazy work hours yep to try and get ahead, which is good if you're a company yeah, not good if you're a worker no, because your life, your life, is literally looking at a computer screen.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, literally doing clicks all day which I find pretty sad. Yeah, to be honest with you, yeah a hundred percent the working environments, not something that I'd want to work in.

Speaker 1:

No way, and so tell the two yeah, I think every one of us would like want to draw one panel yeah that these people can do.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and they're you know they're doing it every day much being slaved out like a machine yeah, and even like the craziest thing is, it's not like animation as a whole is like ten, maybe even 20 times harder. Yeah, then, just drawing the manga, yeah you know what I mean?

Speaker 1:

yeah, because well, among us, just a it's a panel, it's just a panel, yeah, they're gonna make the motions in between each panel yeah, and bringing that to life.

Speaker 3:

It's like it's a lot of work.

Speaker 1:

We feel for you yeah, so that was some breaking news when we came back, so I want to touch on that first. They're just one pay for your shit yeah because it goes a long way to helping hopefully take the stress off these people so they can make more money and give them better working environments. Yeah, to mapper needs to maybe get looked at a little bit by the Japanese government on on the way they're conducting they're working, their wages, their salaries, slash contracts yeah it doesn't seem like it even passes the human what would you call it?

Speaker 3:

was that like my actual?

Speaker 1:

like the international, like human rights yeah, like the standard, the human rights standards, it doesn't seem like that's happening, yeah, so hopefully that can get better and do you two guys and can be finished. But hey, if it's not, it's not that's what I'm trying to say is, if I think we're lucky to be getting all the anime that we're getting, like I remember when we were in high school you'd be lucky to get a season yeah, we get.

Speaker 1:

We get pretty much a new season every year, maybe twice in a year. Yeah, two arcs, yeah, which is pretty like ridiculous cuz yeah no, we were very patient yeah, would.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think I waited one of the shows I watched in high school. I definitely waited like three, four years, yeah, till I was out of high school to watch season two yeah, and that was a bit like the Tak on Titan yeah, tak on. Titan is prime example yeah, season one came out. I think I was grade 11. Season two came out.

Speaker 1:

I was like a year out of high school yeah rough another reason mapple is doing the last season of attack on Titan, so can you imagine that? Plus yeah plus JJ like bro, far out man, so be patient yeah, be patient and also maybe stop like shitting on, like I saw one of the animators, which is pretty sad, taken like what people are saying, like to heart, like yeah dude, first of all, you ain't got to listen to us like we just we have not got the skill set.

Speaker 1:

Yeah to even be judging animation to even fathom what you're doing. Yeah, even fathom, like what the hell is going on there? We just like to enjoy it 100% so if you're being one of these like assholes, yeah, just stop being an asshole take a look, take a look inside. Yeah put it this way if they just weren't there in the first place and there was no show, you'd probably be like why, should they show?

Speaker 1:

yeah trying to make a show but you're critiquing because the fire wasn't perfectly red or some shit yeah, it's like you work at Mackers.

Speaker 3:

You close yeah, you close the inside at 12 and you've got a hundred thousand people online complaining about you specifically as the one that closes McDonald's yeah or that your Big Mac fucking sucks yeah, although I feel like we can make a big Mac.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we can make a big Mac. I'm just putting it on the terms of the people. I get it, I get it, I get it behind their fucking computer, you douchebags I think I think, right, it's like if someone made a robot and I was like really robot, shit, yeah, but I couldn't even put a circuit board together nah that's how I think about my.

Speaker 1:

I can't even put it together yeah, I can't even get the first piece of the puzzle to start the puzzle yeah, so I'm not gonna judge these poor jujutsu kaisen workers yeah, it's above your pay grade it's above mine yep, definitely above mine, above ours, but ours and it's above ours, or you probably reach out there if you reach out there? What are you doing? Support us if not. If not, then you're just part of the team. Welcome to the team welcome to the team.

Speaker 3:

I'm taller. Have some fucking fun. Yeah, yeah, touch base pretty much pay for your anime. Hey for it. Understand that what you're getting is after hard yards, you know, 18 hour days. Just think about. Think about someone else other than yourself, yep and then enjoy.

Speaker 1:

It and enjoy it as we say, guys, it's a community patience other thing. Oh, let's go to something else yo what is it?

Speaker 3:

what is it? What is what's going on?

Speaker 1:

I'm getting angry man. What's happening? I heard that ever since. Like the one piece episode, the gear 5 episode apparently like attack on it, didn't rate that high yeah, attack on Titan. People were pulling it down and then the one piece fans are like alright, we're gonna do it back. Yeah, first of all, this is childish as fuck yeah stop doing that hundred percent. I enjoy attack on Titan and I enjoy one piece yeah.

Speaker 1:

I don't have to like either or. And if you like either or, that's cool. Man. Do you know how much effort it is to go dislike a video? This is going back to the animators, right? You're not hurting the one piece fans? No, you're not. You're hurting the. You're hurting the animators yeah they're life on this shit then you're disliking it because a one piece fan liked it like. It's so fucking stupid yeah it is. Look at me fucking stupid, fucking stupid man.

Speaker 1:

That's something like a 12 year old does yeah realize that you go fuck, and if you're 12 year old, you probably should be watching us, but then that's okay right, that's fine, that's fine.

Speaker 3:

You know what?

Speaker 1:

enough grow yeah, grow up, grow the fuck up, yeah on that note, have you watched the attack on Titan?

Speaker 3:

yeah, I wish. Fine, I feel is alright, I think they changed a little bit from the little bit, just a little bit, it wasn't that it was okay. I think, just because I I knew what was coming, so it kind of wasn't like a big surprise range, yeah, but I didn't get like but as but hurt as I did when, I read it. Yeah, yeah, it was alright, I didn't mind it.

Speaker 1:

I didn't, I didn't mind. The action was awesome yeah, I get the storyline like I kind of like sacrifice storylines. But it felt cool, though, when the maker, the creator I can't remember his name- I don't know the creator of Attack on Titan. Yeah. He came out on Twitter and said I wanted he was thinking about changing the anime to another ending. But then he's like but in a sense I'm like, I'm Aaron, so my fate was decided.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Like he felt, like it wrote itself. The story wrote itself. And I was like well, I can't hate on that If that's where the story was going. Don't just change it after to satisfy people, Just tell the story you wanted to tell.

Speaker 3:

He had a lot of backlash after the end of the month or two.

Speaker 1:

But isn't there. I think there's a fan made, someone's making a fan made. Final episode.

Speaker 4:

Real.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, animation.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

With the. You know a different ending, alternate ending.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I've just like the anime from the get go. For me, it was an anime about loss, like overcoming hard, hard trials. It wasn't an anime that was, you know, set to have a happy ending. No, you know what I mean. Like from the get go, it was a depressing show. Ex-mask is, you know, it's never been a happy ending show.

Speaker 1:

Name or season when it was a happy ending.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, never.

Speaker 1:

So I guess it's just a shock. You do want, like I want, aaron and Makasa.

Speaker 4:

To be together.

Speaker 3:

To end up together. Well, they kind of do. I'm in an anime to be together. Yeah, they kind of you know they kind of do.

Speaker 1:

You know, that's just little things. Yeah. But sacrifice. Sacrifice. It leads into the story. I don't know, I'm gonna have to watch it again and maybe I'll I'll do another. Yeah, I don't know, I didn't mind it. I wasn't like, I wasn't like, wow, that was riveting. Yeah, you know what I mean Like that was the best fucking thing I've ever seen. But, I wasn't at times. At times I was like damn, this is some good shit.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I'm enjoying the fuck out of this, but yeah, I don't know man, why would I give it out of 10? How's it go this? No spoilers, you guys just like what the fuck? I haven't watched Attack on Titan, but this sounds fucking controversial.

Speaker 3:

Watch it if you think it's controversial.

Speaker 1:

I would say I'm gonna give it an eight.

Speaker 3:

I enjoyed it. Yeah, that's where I put it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

I enjoyed it. 7.9.

Speaker 1:

Wasn't like it wasn't Berserk ending to me.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

That shit's like 10.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Berserk Manga came out. Remember how we were seeing all the Berserk stuff?

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Cause the Manga has just been started up again, True? So I was wondering, I was like what the fuck, there's so much stuff here, there's so much stuff in Japan about Berserk in the convenience and we were like are they like, is it like a special, is it like anniversary or something?

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

But yeah, they've re-released the they started the Manga up again. The Manga, yeah, nice, I might start the Manga here.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so yeah, that was the attack on Titan 1P. Shit, and stop being little bitches, little pussies. I'm saying it.

Speaker 3:

I don't care anymore. Little fucking babies, stop being sucks you. Little fucking babies.

Speaker 1:

And like it's just, it's so silly man.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's so silly.

Speaker 1:

Just enjoy it. If you don't enjoy it don't watch it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you don't need to be so fore-telling If you don't like tenants don't watch it. Don't go dislike the tennis ratings. Yeah, exactly, it's exactly like that.

Speaker 1:

To waste the time, yeah, you have better things to do, hopefully, and if you don't, maybe think about that. Yeah, all right. What are we on now? 13 minutes Fuck, we've been crammed.

Speaker 3:

We've gone through some fucking good shit Straight up.

Speaker 1:

We had a lot of anime stuff happen.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Which has been great to come back to.

Speaker 3:

Honestly, it's been great. It's been great. My list is actually pretty long at the moment.

Speaker 1:

I made a big step. Yeah, I started reading a Manga.

Speaker 3:

Oh, what did you?

Speaker 1:

start reading. I can't remember the name of it, but it's that Blacksmith one, the new one.

Speaker 3:

Kagurobachi, that's it. I've been up to chapter two. Yeah, there's only seven. I think Seven or eight yeah.

Speaker 1:

So I'm just reading the free ones until I really get into it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that broke ratings, bro yeah.

Speaker 1:

So but the first part I was like oh, I'm in, I love Blacksmith shit.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

It's fucking dope. So yeah, read my first Getting Into Manga.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I'm trying to jump out Nice. I was deciding which ones to like read. Once I read this one, because obviously it's not gonna take long.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, it won't.

Speaker 1:

Because I was gonna do like the new Buruto one but, I, should have read the one before. Like I'll just start on that one.

Speaker 3:

Duh, there's parts of the one before that really set up the new one, okay.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'll just read. Was it a quick read or is it long?

Speaker 3:

It's oh, I don't know, because Buruto is a monthly release, so they get like 40 page chapters yeah. Got you, that's crazy, but it's good Like fuck me oh.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 3:

Oh man, the latest shit has like oh, blown my mind, cause like there's even stuff that has been, that's in it, that's like from Naruto, and you're like damn.

Speaker 1:

That's sick Damn. Yeah. Okay, it's good stuff. I'll give it a read.

Speaker 3:

I think I honestly there's one that I think you should read that I think you would probably enjoy is Vega Bond.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, yeah, I want to read that. It's not a Shonen. Jump.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's on Viz Media.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's the annoying part, cause I don't have like fucking two.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, cause Berserker's Viz as well. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I don't want to have two fucking subscriptions. Man, there's so many fucking subscriptions, dude.

Speaker 4:

Yeah. Everything's a subscription.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I hate saying the word subscription, cause it makes me feel like I've got a lisp.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, subscription, subscription.

Speaker 1:

So why'd they make that word Subscription?

Speaker 3:

Subscription.

Speaker 1:

It's not a good word yeah.

Speaker 3:

Scripts.

Speaker 1:

I've got some shit here that I got. You got some shit, yeah, you didn't bring it.

Speaker 3:

I didn't bring it, but you got some stuff here.

Speaker 1:

So what would?

Speaker 3:

you highlight my highlight.

Speaker 1:

Highlights sorry Because it's not just one. Yeah, I'd say. Universal Studios 100% the biggest highlight of the trip. It was fun bro.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, Universal Studios was fucking fun it was so much fun, I enjoyed the fuck out of it. And to watch my partner who's never been she was being to Japan but she'd never been, she didn't go to Universal Just watching her eyes full of wonder and excitement the whole day. That was really what made the trip, the trip back to Universal, for me, Hell yeah, dude, I loved it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, because you went a second time, you still enjoyed it.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

And there was new stuff there as well.

Speaker 4:

There was a new stuff.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, like the super way, yeah, but how bad was that that place.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't know I got 100% that she was bad. I had like a full on social anxiety Little meltdown in the middle of that place.

Speaker 1:

There's lots of people there, there's so many people there. It's like everyone goes there. Just for that, to be honest. Yeah.

Speaker 3:

And I'm not one to just. You know, I'm OK with crowds, but I think just after a whole day of doing that and then going in there and it's like 10 times, worse than outside. Yeah, you're kind of like damn my battery's done. Yeah. Plus, I only had like one cigarette in my packet, yeah, yeah. Well then, to the day You're running low. I was running low.

Speaker 1:

Running low on the recharge. I had to save that for like end of day.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was rough. It's rough man For me anyway because I have an addiction.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's addiction dude.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I have an addiction To life, probably that, and like the batting cages, was super fucking sick yeah.

Speaker 1:

Batting cages were dope man Dude. Round one, round one.

Speaker 3:

In just dope, yeah, doton body.

Speaker 1:

Round one was so sick.

Speaker 3:

Doton body.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was cool man. I definitely need to go back and like go at night and try and go up. Yeah, I didn't go up, I'm gonna get some cold or anything. I'm just gonna get this cold and V serious and so I'm gonna sunlight, like Cause, I just cause, I just can't. There's just like there's crowds there and I'm like man. I'd rather go around our area like was like pre chill. Yeah, there was still people, but the area was like good and the meals weren't like touristy.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

And it was just a bit of like, bit of a vibe, bit of vibe, like. So we just chilled around there and we went, tried to go to Dalton body, went to a medic, a medic Mulder, which is American town, which is cool. It was a different side. Hmm, um, it's like a ghetto side, but also kind of like homey.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't know Like. Yeah, I get you.

Speaker 1:

Kind of feel like like some of my people were there, hmm, like to talk to them, and then they wouldn't be like weird and like they just want to talk to you. Yeah, um, yeah, that was cool town. Yeah, that's cool town, yeah.

Speaker 3:

I feel like Osaka was definitely more my vibe yeah, osaka's a good vibe dude. Yeah, yeah, also, it's definitely my vibe zone man. I loved it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I love the two.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Definitely go back. Yeah, definitely go back. Um, definitely are going back. Definitely going back. You know, just like, yeah, the trip was a good like gauge to be like what am I going to go back and like, see, yeah, I'm going to go back to Kyoto. Hmm. And just, but maybe plan a bit better.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

I thought I planned a good but it's a lot bigger than people realize. Oh, Kyoto is massive and like what we realized before going there like it's fucking huge, you need more than a day, yeah, we booked a day and I was like, damn, it's definitely like the size of like the other cities, like Tokyo.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, like it's it's fucking huge yeah. There's so many shrines.

Speaker 3:

So many shrines.

Speaker 1:

Um, and it could take, you like yeah. I say two days, you could, you could do it, but maybe three if you just would be comfortable.

Speaker 3:

Three would be comfortable. Yeah, cause we yeah, the two days that we did there was, yeah, rough.

Speaker 1:

Okay yeah, I was going to do a video on this because you don't see this shit. Okay, yeah. But I'm going to tell my peeps, we're going to tell the peeps We'll sneak peek, right, when you go to Kyoto off the Shinkansen. Right, don't have any, anything with you.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Just, you can transport it right, just send.

Speaker 3:

Send everything, you'll get there the next.

Speaker 1:

You'll get there that day. Like keep a backpack. That's it. Yeah, something light, yeah that you maybe keep undies in, just in case, not even like a little carry-on suitcase, not that. Nothing. Don't take anything yeah.

Speaker 3:

Literally, that's the smallest. You should go.

Speaker 1:

And send everything else to the hotel in Kyoto. Yeah, it'll probably get there. If you send it to the day before, it'll get there the next day in the morning, so you'd be fine.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

If not, it'll be at night time, oh no.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, it'll be, there.

Speaker 1:

You'll be there. Do that Cause. Man getting a locker at Kyoto station Ridiculous dude, the most ridiculous experience.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I've ever had and I was like this can't be, this can't be it. This can't be real. This can't be real. Right now Am I trying to look for a locker and there's like 10,000 lockers.

Speaker 3:

There was. There's so many at Kyoto station Like there are literally thousands of lockers and they were all used. Yeah, all of them. Oh.

Speaker 1:

Oh the mine grain.

Speaker 3:

Didn't help that there wasn't like a fucking time limit on them either, like it's literally 24 hours and it's like 200 yen.

Speaker 1:

Well, I was talking to. Um, I was talking to again we went back. Yeah, and we're told. I told him about that and he was like actually the Kyoto government trying to stop locals from using it. Oh yeah, it's cause, like, some locals use it, so obviously they get there beforehand A bit smart. You know, they know Kyoto more than us. Yeah so that's why it's all booked out, cause the locals are also using it as well, so maybe they're trying to make like some international, only ones, I don't know.

Speaker 3:

That'd be good. But Japan does tourism very well, except for the fucking, except for the lockers.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, dude, another thing JR pass right. Yeah so we got to the train station at six. All right, we'll get it early open up. We had to wait till nine. They opened up the line for JR pass for foreigners only. So it was a line for JR for the locals, but for foreigners you had to wait till nine o'clock for just someone to pretty much Give you your pass.

Speaker 4:

Give you your pass.

Speaker 1:

It's literally that, like we had it, we just have to give you the ticket Um that was bullshit.

Speaker 3:

You guys paid for it, yeah, and then.

Speaker 1:

so we were confused. We're like, wait, do we get like a seat? Then to realize one and three is like where you go Unreserved. If you're not reserved. So I was like but I want to see Mount Fuji like the window seat. And so I was like, fuck this. So I just bought first class tickets like the green card tickets to Mount Fuji. But, to be honest, it was worth it.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Cause I actually slept. So I was like, oh, the cat got to see Mount Fuji and I got to sleep. So I was like Win, win, happy win, win.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so yeah, we, we sent our suitcases the night before, yep, and we left a bit later, but we realized in like nighttime the night before, but like we'd sent our suitcases in the morning. The night before we realized we'd left our JR exchange tickets in our suitcase and had to pay for our ticket.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so that ended up costing another 150 bucks just for a ticket To Kyoto. But like it was, I was kind of happy, like happy, but also not Cause you're actually at the JR pass. Yeah, well, mainly cause, like I got a reserve seat. Oh yeah, we got seats next to each other which was nice Cause on our trip back from Osaka we didn't sit next to each other for like the first two stops.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, me and Kat stood up. I think, we stood up in the middle bit. And then as soon as we saw people get off, we would like actually everything was okay.

Speaker 3:

We were fine. We moved after we got to Kyoto.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, I think it was that. Yeah, I think, for two stops we just stood up and then, and then people got off and we just sat next to each other. Yeah.

Speaker 3:

We were sitting like quite a bit away from each other on the way back. And then, yeah, seeing the three people in front of me move, and I just got up and sat down in the middle.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was good. It was good, it was an adventure.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, the Shinkansen is super sick. I enjoyed going on the Shinkansen.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and then a lot of time when you look it up, you like you look it up in car and you're like oh, that's a 10 hour trip.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

And then Shinkansen is like two hours and you're like fuck.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's pretty crazy.

Speaker 1:

But is it worth it now? Probably not. Probably better flying yeah, With the, with the, with the JR pass. Probably isn't worth it anymore because the price went up.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, like we paid what? 300 for ours? Yeah, which was made it worth it.

Speaker 1:

And now it's 500.

Speaker 3:

Now it's 500 and something, yeah, so it wouldn't be worth it, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Like, unless you're going, unless it's your second time, or if it's your second time or third time, you probably know if it's going to be worth it. Yeah, but your first time, if you go on a Tokyo, osaka, kyoto, you, you probably need one or two Shinkansen tickets, yeah, which is less that's like yeah, cause you can just catch a regular ticket from Kyoto to Osaka.

Speaker 3:

It's not that fun you can. It'll take longer, though, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, kyoto to Osaka yeah. But, from Tokyo to Osaka or Kyoto definitely takes Shinkansen.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

But man, what a vibe.

Speaker 3:

What a vibe Lovely. I love the skyliner train too, the Kasei, so good.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so do you take that on the way? On the way back in yeah. I was going to do that.

Speaker 3:

So easy, it was fine. Yeah, we caught the Kasei skyline, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I think, it was because it was free for our JR pass. Oh yeah. So we were like, we were like oh, we must well use it. Yeah, the Kasei I'd probably take next time. Yeah, depending where I come from.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, there wasn't a lot of people on there too. It was quite nice. Yeah, that's what people say.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's like less because you have to pay for it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

So it doesn't cost as much.

Speaker 3:

Definitely worth, it Like if you're just like you really just want to get to the airport. Yeah, no hassles, so worth it Because, like, honestly, when I was in, I went to Korea as well for a week and, honestly, on the way back from to the airport from Korea where we were staying ridiculous, the hardest fucking thing to do in my life- Do you want to talk about your career trip? Yeah, I honestly I didn't enjoy myself in Korea.

Speaker 3:

I'm not trying to knock it super down, like but yeah, I just didn't vibe with it. I didn't vibe with it, it's just not my kind of place, yeah. And like a lot of things were made super complicated that didn't really need to be complicated, like what? Just the vibes, just the vibes, yeah. I'm not trying to get canceled here, by the way.

Speaker 1:

No, I guess you want to talk about it. But you know from my partner's viewpoint, we just don't like it. I don't think we're big enough to get canceled. No, we're not big enough to get canceled, but you know when we get there people want to come back to this and be like oh, he's a fucking racist. Right, if we get there, we're going to have to delete a lot of videos. Yeah 100%.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was like there was some things that I liked there, like I bought a lot of K-pop stuff because I'm a stan of the K-pop universe, you're a fan, I'm a fan, I'm a fan, I'm a stan. I love it, yeah, just a lot of other stuff just wasn't for me or my partner. I got sick there as well. Spent a day at home yeah, that's never a good vibe.

Speaker 3:

Never a good vibe on a trip, but I will say going from where we were staying in Japan not to knock it like it's just normal to have quite small rooms to like a full-on apartment it was nice, it was really nice yeah. I would have rather been home with my dogs. Very true, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Or in Japan still yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's another thing A lot of stuff is super expensive in Korea. We regretted not buying a lot more stuff in Japan, oh in Japan, yeah, yeah. But it is what it is. We had to kind of make do with what we had because our flight to Korea we didn't realize we only had 15 kgs on check-in.

Speaker 1:

Oh shit. Can it pay for extra?

Speaker 3:

Nah, we just put it on our carry-on.

Speaker 1:

Oh smart, I just packed out jeans and jackets into my bag.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's a good idea. Yeah, it was good. It was good. Okay, it was okay. Japan was great. Japan was great Back in.

Speaker 1:

Japan, yeah, sorry, korea Back in Japan. Yeah, back in. Japan, other highlight.

Speaker 3:

He went to Hiroshima. You went to Hiroshima.

Speaker 1:

I went to Hiroshima.

Speaker 3:

You liked that. I went to Miyajima. It was nice, happy lovely, peaceful Gang.

Speaker 1:

And then we went to Hiroshima. It's in the same, it's just a train ride, the vicinity Same. Yeah, it's just at Miyajima's Island. So you have to catch a boat from Miyajima the cruise, which is even nicer because they give you a little like history lesson as well.

Speaker 4:

Wait on the thing, oh yeah.

Speaker 1:

Miyajima. I definitely recommend that's the floating Tory gate. If you don't know, know what it is. And then obviously Hiroshima. Everyone knows Hiroshima. But we went around the park and it was just nice, like it's nice what they've done there. But you can't help being like a little bit sad but also like it's kind of happy, like Like what they've, how they rebuilt, yeah, and the people there were nice. Oh yeah, we had okonomiyaki there. Nice, hiroshima one. It was good. We went to this little local one up because the place I wanted to go was closed, bro, I don't know what our luck was with that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah like every restaurant I wanted to go to was like suddenly, just like we're closed today. Yeah out of all days. Yeah, we're closed today and I was like why yeah, thanks white today there's no. Japanese restaurants are the best and like they probably work so much. They're just like you know what, taking a day off taking a day off. Yeah, so I'm not. I'm not a hater, I understand. Next time I'll try go there, but man, that happened to us a lot.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, same with like Like our final day in Japan. We're trying to figure out like something to do that day, because the one thing I wanted to do was closed what? Was that the Gundam statue.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, you know the Yokohama. That's right.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that was closed on like the day. That was the day our last day. It was like the last day of it being closed too, so it was kind of Big gutting, yeah, and like the Sanrio land was also closed on that day, it was weird. It was a weird final day.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, this is like yeah, but the trip itself fucking sick.

Speaker 2:

We made a guy named Gen, who you mentioned, that guy was sick.

Speaker 3:

He's a um Bar moon palace in Shibuya. Go there you gotta find him.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you gotta find it, you gotta find him. He's actually not on google, so you do have to find like you just have to find him yeah. Um, but he's just a little sore, you know, yeah that's his little bar Yep um.

Speaker 3:

He's awesome. First he seemed a bit standoffish. Yeah, just because he's quiet he's very quiet. But once you start chatting to him and open him up, he's had a few brusquies with you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's good, that's it once he starts having make his own drinks with you. He's like yeah that's where you're at, that's when he vibing.

Speaker 3:

Such a good dude I um. When we first went there, hey, we were sitting in our little table with our group. It's just awkward, yeah, and then I literally went out for a smoke, came back in and sat at the bar and then this guy came over and it was. It was over after that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we stayed there the whole time.

Speaker 3:

We just sat at the like right in front of him chatting to him. His friends. His friends were super cool. Uh was, yeah, it was like Super awesome experience.

Speaker 1:

It was really cool, one of the best, one of the best times we had.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, compared to bars here too, like, oh, it was a great bar yeah.

Speaker 1:

I think beforehand we went to this cool like movie themed.

Speaker 3:

Oh, that place was sick too. They had like a secret menu as well.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, like yeah you'd like say like we like heard the table next to us. They said can you do the hell's moving castle.

Speaker 3:

What is?

Speaker 4:

that it was like where.

Speaker 1:

The fuck is that where?

Speaker 4:

the fuck's that comes over.

Speaker 1:

Looks like calcifer, yeah, like I don't know. It looked fucksic set it on fire. He was like. Can I have one of those please? Yeah.

Speaker 3:

I'll take one of those.

Speaker 1:

I'll have what she's having.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, like literally three, four pages of cocktails Just movie titles, just movie titles. Every single thing is a movie title, everything. And it was like a lot of. It was like super, like it related to what the title was to the drink really good.

Speaker 1:

Wait, do you know what I bought? I bought that whiskey.

Speaker 3:

Did you? No, I've got it Do you have a shot no.

Speaker 1:

We'll have this whiskey there. It's the again whiskey. It's the again.

Speaker 3:

That's what we're calling it now. It's the again whiskey. It's his recommendation, it was pretty good. It was pretty good and he was telling us you have to buy the auctions and yeah no, I found it, I found it here, but it was very hard.

Speaker 1:

It was very like like last kind of wine. Yeah, yeah and I was like Fuck man. So I was like I have to buy it. Yeah, I have to buy it, man, just to have it. Yeah, um, but yeah, I couldn't find it over there.

Speaker 3:

No, at all so Very, yeah, very exclusive alcohol that again shared with us.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was very nice. Yeah, Um, what else do we do? Yeah, we had a crazy good night man. Yeah, shabu was sick. Shabu was fucking dope dude. Akihabara was cool, but it's a bit intense. Do you want to say it? You want to say it? What? Osaka, the suckers ones better.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I hope that doesn't ruin it. No, I don't want it to like yeah, I hope we don't get big now, because I don't want to ruin that.

Speaker 3:

Like I like akihabara is good, like it is there. It's fun. It's fun to walk through like, look at like the scenery or whatever. Like the backdrop of akihabara Is definitely a lot better than the orsaka one. Yeah. Like the, the ambiance, the scenery of akihabara is great, yeah, but orsaka on a level that is Chill has the same shit.

Speaker 1:

Yep probably better, probably a bit cheaper, yep.

Speaker 3:

more selection because less people go there, yep.

Speaker 1:

Agreed.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, like that's what inches it up.

Speaker 1:

It's called den den den downtown. I think it's the nickname for something like yes, yeah, den den or something like that.

Speaker 3:

It's like starts with an, though like the actual sub.

Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, yeah, but I don't, yeah. But I think, if you type in den den town, it will like take you to that street.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's good, it was really.

Speaker 1:

you can't see it, it's not like akihabara. When you go to akihabara like oh, you know, no shit.

Speaker 4:

No, it's there. I don't see that. No this place.

Speaker 1:

You just kind of go past. You're like, oh, what the fuck this?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and then like down the street and you're like, oh, here we go. Yeah there's like collectible stores, second hand.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was very cool. Yeah, um, I failed. I failed my mission. Um, I'll say I didn't get a game boy, because game boy is a fucking expensive dude.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I like 180 was the cheapest one I saw.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, running, running the thing like yeah, danny, ball Friend Danny, who was there as well, he bought two broken ones yeah.

Speaker 1:

I wish I did now. I wish I bought one now. Yeah, so I would have done it up. Yeah, but next time.

Speaker 3:

Next time I'll do it next time. They're pretty cheap here anyway.

Speaker 1:

They are pretty cheap here because people don't really buy them over there. It's not funny Like yeah, I can't get one cheaper here, why the fuck?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, like you can get one here with the IPS backlight. Yeah, change. Yeah, cheaper than what they had them at the stores there.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, like I don't know why I would buy it there. But that's what happens when, like everyone makes videos on it.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

So price I didn't get my iPod classic.

Speaker 1:

I got, I've got a nano. Yeah, you got a nano, which I'll show you.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, soon I should.

Speaker 3:

I show them now. Show them now.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I don't even know if this works yet, so you haven't plugged it in yet. I haven't plugged it in yet Because I wanted to do it on a video to see if it worked. Oh yeah, there you guys, the original nano to the original iPod nano. I have no idea if it's working. I'm hoping it's working and there's like songs on here.

Speaker 3:

On the sick from the previous.

Speaker 1:

Yeah and then just vibe to it. I don't know what it'd be on it, but there you go, ipod nano, I think anything really on the list, because like did you did, your devices were like expensive expensive.

Speaker 1:

They were like 90 bucks yeah and I was like I'm not paying 90 bucks, like it just ruined the fun. The fun of Akihabra was like you go and find like bargains, bargains like five dollars, ten dollars. You're like, oh sick, that's my childhood. Not like I'm not paying like Price for like some air pods. Yeah, for a digi device 100%, I get you. I found that, yeah, which is, I found a pokemon Silver silver. It looks a cool cover, oh yeah.

Speaker 1:

The japanese version? Obviously, yeah, and it's not. This is hasn't been like battery change. Could you get some of that battery change? So this is just an original One.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, mine was, yeah, so this is just battery change.

Speaker 1:

Yeah this one's just a normal, I think, like the original cartridge one. Yeah, yeah, I got red Because that was like the first game I got, I got red. I got um this one. We me and beta both did, but it's fun. We've got a crocodile badge.

Speaker 3:

It's just fucked sick Nice.

Speaker 1:

Um I need to show you this?

Speaker 3:

stuff, yet no, I got kobe.

Speaker 1:

Oh, did you? Yeah, yeah, I got um Zoro. No way, dude, I don't fucking zoro, that's badass. So these ones are like you. We got it from the. What's it called mungu? From like. Uh, it's like a one piece always called mungu. Oh, moogie water, moogie water, that's it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, what's your straw hat in japanese?

Speaker 1:

Um, and you just get. You pretty much just get a rant. It could be one of these.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, it's like a manga panel. It's a manga panel.

Speaker 1:

This one's all embossed and shit I got used this kid. Now that's open. I'm gonna put it like here badass cool.

Speaker 3:

I got kid, which I wasn't too kids cool, it's dope. Yeah, I want to buy the big three, you know, and then I got this one.

Speaker 1:

You know sucker dandan, if you can see it in the video podcast. Guys, sorry if you're. Listening but I just put a picture of everything we got on the instagram so you can have a look. He already cause he already. Yeah, this is Um. This is um odas daughter right yeah, Odas daughter yeah.

Speaker 1:

So if you're not, what? If you don't watch one piece? Or if you watch one piece but you're not up to date, you won't know who this character? Yeah, mom and I'll skates sister. Yeah, mom and I'll skates sister. So we want more ladies in there in the back for the shelf because we just have a. It's looking like a sausage fest, so this one's gonna be opened and put up there. This was eight dollars eighty.

Speaker 5:

Hmm, come on Like that's actually a deal, that's a, that's a big you're looking at, still like 20, 30 bucks.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, well, it's, the same price is here. So it's like, why? Why wasting time? Um, and I got.

Speaker 1:

I got power dude.

Speaker 3:

Look at this gang gang.

Speaker 1:

She's sick. I can't wait to open this one. She got a weapon. Yeah, she's got a blood sword gangster, yeah, she's like on her knees too. Oh, yeah, so doing a little. Yeah, so that was nine dollars eighty Nice to convert it to like a u d. Hmm. So another one to go up on the shelf? Yeah, now this is the price. This is the price, bro, okay. Oh, no way, dude. This is the price, man, okay.

Speaker 3:

So guys do not understand, you don't understand All right here he is toji toji, jjk. If you're JJK, you're probably like throffing and this is toji Zenon, or is it toji for sugar? It's toji sugar, I think. I think so. I think so, maybe.

Speaker 1:

um, no, zenon, he's zen in isn't he, he's in him, but I think he's because look his wife's name, megumi's like last name.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, he's got it. He got it. Oh god, you got you. Oh yeah, because from the zen and clan.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so, so this guy man. It's the most expensive thing I bought.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, 100, and he didn't even buy it. You want it, I didn't buy it, dude.

Speaker 1:

This is a warning for all people going to japan. I spent 70 bucks on this yeah, 70 bucks, that's 7 000 yen on. To be honest, this is fucking sick. Yeah, this is pretty sick, he's really bad I got to the point where I was like, if I don't win this on fifty, fifty dollars, I'm wasting yeah.

Speaker 3:

I have to go the extra mile, I have to go to the extra mile and this and just.

Speaker 1:

I have to get something, Otherwise I just wasted all my money.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I reason 100% this guy.

Speaker 1:

He's in a more fun spot for him. Yeah, he's just chilling. Maybe you go behind you on your shelf, but Toji, look at that, toji super cool. Everyone loves toji now.

Speaker 3:

Yeah Well, he's a daddy.

Speaker 1:

He's a daddy, dad, dad gang dad gang dad gang. So I got a wand.

Speaker 3:

Got your, got my fucking wand finally.

Speaker 1:

So I got a, got a wand from a university. Yeah, yeah, all the banders, all the banders. Very nice.

Speaker 3:

I'm very nice one you can't check this out. Come on. Yeah, look at that. That's a wonder out there.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that was just funny, that was super fun, we had fun, I was super glad we went through the little shows. Yeah, that was cool. That was cool, dude. Oh, let's talk about that. Okay, we're in Japan. Okay, we're in JP.

Speaker 3:

We're probably gonna be talking about Japan for a few, so this is a story about University studios.

Speaker 1:

We're in Japan, right? Japan. They're very known for not being able to speak English because they're just, they keep everything in house, kind of thing, right?

Speaker 4:

Yeah everything.

Speaker 1:

They don't really leave that much. They stay there. There's no point for them to really learn any other languages. Yeah so we're in the Oluvander's Show. It's like a little show where they do like the Harry Potter thing. When he's like trying the wand, they pick someone out. Yeah, which is cool. It's like a 10 year old girl.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I thought that was really cool. Oh, it was cool that they got a little girl.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, because you should see like she was actually like.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, with one girl.

Speaker 4:

It was fucking. Yeah, it was fucking sick. I was like living through it, yeah.

Speaker 3:

You know, when you say Light up was happening, yeah, like her hair was like blowing, I was like fuck.

Speaker 1:

Yes, you're like, wow, man, I feel so cool. Yeah, anyways, as the show's starting right, there's a chicken, I Don't know, was it Oluvander's. It was like, just before we go in, just before we go in, the ladies to speak in Japanese, which we were saying which is normal.

Speaker 3:

It's just come in a country, yeah you should know this you're in Japan. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Like sorry, but like you're fucking stupid, you're a bitch. And these people, I don't know where they're from, but they were like they were from Australia. I'm so say that, yeah, they were. They were like there was some sort of, some sort of Some sort of tone of this? Yeah, some sort of white and For some reason they were going. Please speak English, so close accent.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's very close Please speak English, speak English.

Speaker 1:

and Like I was, like bro, I'm about to speak English, yeah.

Speaker 5:

I'm about to speak some English to you right now about the big English motherfucker.

Speaker 1:

So we go in there, they still go, speak English, and then Oluvander is Speaking like so and then speaks English after, so he's translating. Yeah like bro he was super cool.

Speaker 3:

He was super fuck, and I think the fact that he did does that.

Speaker 1:

So awesome, yeah, so awesome. He makes it look like, not like, he's not stopping. Yeah he's not just going like it's like it's one whole conversation.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, like I a hundred percent appreciated that, but at the same time, if he just spoke in Japanese, I would be fine.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, cuz just use going there for the vibes, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Going on around you because there was a lot happening, like a lot of the time I wasn't even listening to him. Yeah, just Feeling it. Yeah, you go into.

Speaker 1:

Japan man, mostly she's gonna be Japanese because they make it for themselves. They don't make it for you. They may. Yeah, it's not like. Yet If you go there thinking what's Disneyland? It's America. Like, it's gonna be like, there is English.

Speaker 3:

Yes, speak.

Speaker 1:

Mandarin. Like this there's English menus and everything. You know what I mean? Yeah, like just go in there and then just you'll pick up on Japanese, anyway you get you're gonna it's pretty easy. You get the vibe dude okay, but um yeah, don't go in there expecting English. Yeah, those losers.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, like, we speak English because it's the only language we know. Hmm. They speak English Because it's the only language we know. Okay.

Speaker 1:

Here we go. This is mean when you come to a movie world in Australia. Yeah, if a Japanese person was like Speak Japanese in Japanese.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

To an English, to just an Australian worker. They're not gonna translate it. No, they're just gonna keep speaking English. It's the same thing. We're not the same.

Speaker 3:

What's same? They're not the same. Yeah, they speak English for us. Yeah, and the people that do, they do it for us.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we're not same and it's hot, yeah, so just appreciate it.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, just take my rent. Take a fucking view from them. There's my bucket.

Speaker 3:

You know, you're not gonna fucking go back home and speak Japanese because there's a Japanese person in your restaurant.

Speaker 1:

You're not, no but I do think any other tourists there, I think we're okay. I didn't have any, like I Didn't think.

Speaker 3:

I don't think I saw any foreigners being like arseholes Nah, which was pretty nice to be, you know, except for on the trains, there's a few that were just a bit too much.

Speaker 1:

There was people getting. You could tell when someone was like just got there.

Speaker 3:

Yeah which I thought was funny cuz yeah you know, I mean like, when you get there you're like we were like yeah, Like that too.

Speaker 1:

I'm not judging, no, but at train station I was like man. These people are so like lost they had all their luggage and I was like oh, we had our whole our luggage too. So Can't hate, just trying to just trying to get to the hotel, yeah and then they'll calm down, but yeah, we had a vibe, we had a good time guys. It agree, it was fun, I'd live there, but I'd live anywhere other than Australia?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think I don't think I would live there anymore, like after my first trip. Yeah, definitely, yeah, I would live there, but this trip no no. I think I'm too used to like the suburbs, hmm, and it like the intensity of living in the city in Japan, like unless you've got a niche job, that is needed out in the countryside. You definitely probably gonna live in the city.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, that's just like that kind of high-paste.

Speaker 3:

Yep, you know, I seen 70 80 year olds on the train and I'm like man that's that's a lot, this is just like something I couldn't envision for myself.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, catching a train at 80? No, you need to. If you're gonna live in Japan, you need to like, not, you need to figure something out. Yeah not connected to Japan.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Something you know what I mean. Like you have an online business or you do something out like that where you can be anywhere and do it yeah, if you work from home, from like your country.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you can be remote. Yeah, yeah, definitely do it. I do that in a heartbeat. Other than that, yeah, no, the life, the lifestyle there is, yeah, very intense, very high-paste. I could live in Shenegal, oh, you live in Shenegal, yeah, yeah, because that was a chill.

Speaker 1:

That was pretty fucking chill.

Speaker 3:

Hmm. I just don't think I could live in a city at all.

Speaker 1:

No, I have to live in. Yeah, oh, damn dude yeah.

Speaker 3:

I always thought I could and it'd be something that I'd love to do, but yeah. I don't think I could. Yeah, I'm very much a quiet Suburbs yeah, I kind of guy I Can drive to the craziness.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I definitely couldn't live in, like Shibuya. No, I don't think anyone really wants to live in Shibuya. No, I Could live. I could probably live in Osaka, like yeah. I'd showed us, because that look quite as far hmm, which I showed us.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, we've seen a friend there.

Speaker 1:

I think you have to go out because we were obviously staying around. Yeah, tourist. Yeah, but we were literally in, yeah, so if you go out like a little bit, you probably find a suburb that's like chill as well Can you get off. It's like in between that like you at least the transport. So would you have like a train that goes to your place? You're good.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's another thing that I'd like as a warning like it's a warning, but it's kind of like a letting you know. Yeah is, if you're trying to have a relaxing holiday, japan's probably not the place for you to go. No, you know um. Um it might seem like it yeah, maybe, but it's not like. Yeah, it's not like Bali. No we're gonna just be so. We're just gonna be chilling by the water or like chill and drink you know, just hanging out.

Speaker 3:

It's not like that. No, it's very much. Uh, you have to do this, that, this, that Go here. Take an hour to get here, yeah. Yeah it's an. It's an adventure place it's an adventure place where you have, you're on go the whole time and you just have to accept it yeah and accept it if you find it, you're just not a good time.

Speaker 1:

But if you just go with the approach of like that was funny, like you know what I mean Like you go that was, but it makes a story. Yeah, the end of it. So you're like oh fuck.

Speaker 4:

It is what it is.

Speaker 1:

That's kind of funny Like I look back on the Kyoto thing and like how mad I got and I was like we fucking.

Speaker 3:

That's fucking funny, though Same yeah that's pretty fucking funny.

Speaker 1:

Um, but I love I'm going back and I can't wait. Yeah, I got a whole year, well, but I can't fucking wait.

Speaker 3:

It's pretty good that there's only a year between it, though it is pretty cool. I think the last time I went was seven years ago.

Speaker 1:

Oh, god damn before this one.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, seven years and it's change. Pens changed a bit since a little bit. It's not a lot, though Not a lot. Yeah, it's a hockey harbour. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Just be able to buy stuff there for cheap. Yeah, man, but um, I think we had a great time.

Speaker 3:

I had a great time.

Speaker 1:

I had a great time, but a good time. It was sad coming back. Yeah, it's hard.

Speaker 3:

I was like I was happy to be back in the quiet, chill suburbs again. But, like after I started going back to work, getting in my regular days like man, fuck that shit.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

I'm so sick of being a slave to corporations, oh yeah, you know what I mean, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I'm not anymore, yeah well, I yeah, I hate it it sucks, but you know it's alright, man, we'll get there. You gotta do what you gotta do for the money.

Speaker 3:

You know what I mean. It's for the channel, bro.

Speaker 1:

It's what it is. We'll get the channel. Good, don't worry about it it will be fine, that's a bit of a thing. That's a bit of a thing, but I think we'll end it there. Yeah, that was a long party.

Speaker 3:

We've got a lot of stories to tell you about Japan. Just like look forward to it.

Speaker 1:

We'll leak them out.

Speaker 3:

We'll just be putting them in here and there.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, like little drip drop, little funky crumbs, kind of a little bit of a drip torture, a little chocky every once in a while in the party, yeah, and you gotta listen. You gotta listen to the end, Otherwise what's?

Speaker 3:

the point oh, we gotta drop those new enemies. I should watch that one that I was talking about and then we'll come back and I'll watch. You guys know how I can do it. Oh, the one I was talking about and the one you were talking about. Yeah, those two. You will watch those two and then.

Speaker 1:

Speaker 4:
