Welcome to the Open Seat Podcast! On today's episode, we continue our study of the book of 1 John. Before jumping into the study, we discuss the different moods in Greek verbs, focusing on the subjunctive. We then apply our understanding of the subjunctive to the passage as John introduces several key themes of his letter: first, that God is light, and second, if we walk in the light, God is faithful to forgive us our sins.
