Welcome to the man of Honor podcast. It's been an amazing season for me interviewing so many of you men who honor God in the way you love your wives, your kids, the way you do business. It's been such a blessing for me. God's been leading our team, been calling us deeper into the word, being able to focus on who and how of the breath of what we've been called to do. He wants us to reach more fathers, because dads are under attack today.

Dads are being demonized at every corner. They're not only called deadbeat, but they're called a lot of things. I think the devil's doing everything he can to marginalize you away from your children so that he could name your kids. He could transfer his false identities on them and turn them into prisoners. But what's God's answer? Great Fathers. So, starting this month, we are going to change the name of our podcast from man of Honor podcast to the Father Difference podcast.

Let me explain. You know it's kind of like God is asking me to call a huddle again, like I did in the NFL, as a center around fathers, young and old, and men who still want to encounter God, the Father themselves. Did you know that God has a dream for fathers? For you. You know why? Because God wants to bless your life so much that his blessing goes right to your kids so they can live out God's amazing call in their own lives. It only takes one loving father to change the course of a whole family for generations, but it also takes one perfectly heavenly fathers to begin that process in us and teaches how to be those kind of fathers. God and Father send his only son to reveal his love and forgiveness so that we could be saved and ultimately fathered by him too. He promises us in 2nd Corinthians 618, I will be a father to you and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord. God Almighty Gosh, that verse rocked me when I read it. Imagine the life you could live by having a father who has no limitations, who wants to bless you as a son or a daughter, that's listening with every blessing he has. That's what God, the Father, wants to do in your life, because something profound gets healed in us when we learn to receive God's miraculous gift of sonship. I get to wake up every day because of that difference he made in me, just getting to be the son of the most amazing father there is. You all know I lost my father before I was born, and my stepfather stepped in and did the best he could, but he wasn't God the Father. So I've had three dads Ed Tandy, dan McGlasson and now God the Father. See, that's a father difference.

God the Father makes a difference in our life through a son, jesus, so that we can make a difference as a father in the life of our children. That's what our new podcast is going to focus on, and would you do me a favor and share this podcast with every friend? You know guys who still ache because of the lack of a father, because when a man learns to connect a God to Father, like Jesus did in his life, he's never the same. As a matter of fact. Our focus is also on moms, who want the birth dads or the fathers to be in the life of their kids too, because they see it first hand as a single mom. They see it when you are too busy and don't have much left to give to your kids.

That's going to change, because God's doing something in you. He's doing something in me, and I pray for you, my friend, and those who are listening and watching that you would receive all the blessing you need in your life so that you can turn God's blessing on you towards your children, so they can live the life God has made them for Father. I pray that you would use them to bring the father difference to their family and then the friends they know who are still waiting for the look from their dad that they'll probably never get. So, lord, I pray you'd bless him in Jesus name. Thank you for listening today and I'm so grateful. Our official name for our podcast now is called the Father Difference.
