The Mystc field is what? As we have said, our universe came out of the primordial consciousness before space and time. Therefore, limitless consciousness is the source of all, and because everything came from this one, we are part of it. So although the theory of the Big Bang may be true, it fails to answer the other questions we posed. In 1926, Dr. Ernest Holmes, the founder of the Centers for Spiritual Living, wrote, we are surrounded by a universal mind into which we think this mind in its original state, fills all space with its presence. It fills all space, and it fills the space man uses in the universe. It is in man as well as outside him. He goes on to write the law through which man operates is infinite, but man appears to be finite. That is, he is not yet evolved to complete understanding of it. When he talks about universal mind, he's talking about consciousness.

This law is not personal and neither does it care who uses it or what it is used for. The law then is a blind force, and we need to be careful not to misuse it, but we should use it constructively. The law sometimes called the law of mental equivalence must never be overlooked. The subjective state of thought, which is the sum of a person's thinking and knowing, determines what is going to happen. It is the medium between thought and limitless consciousness. That is the subjective state or the unconscious mind is the medium between conscious thought and limitless consciousness. So the use of the laws should follow a line of inquiries like this. Do the things that you want lend themselves to a constructive living? Do they express a more abundant life, Rob or harm? No one create, no delusion, but instead, do they express a greater degree of livingness? If they do, then the universe is for us and must be behind us. If it is money, stocks, dresses, shoes, or food, all of which come from the same source, there can be nothing that denies us this greater possible living.
