More Than Sweat
More Than Sweat is a natural extension of Brook Benten's 2024 book, "Sweat with Brook Benten." In both, Brook encourages movement and emboldens humans to go at hard things with gumption.
With every word of every episode and every page of the book, she guides her audience to a world of well-being where worth has nothing to do with a workout.
She encourages listeners to walk as they tune in to episodes. In season one, every episode is synchronized to music to guide a walking pace.
But the message is always more than sweat.
This podcast exists to guide growth.

More Than Sweat
Episode 11: Power Walk + Upper Body Strength (132 steps per minute)
Walk at 4.2 MPH (132 steps per minute) for the first half of this episode. The motivating message to power your walk speaks of the life-changing magic of reframing rejection as redirection.
For the second half of this episode, grab dumbbells (or water bottles, soup cans, tennis ball containers, nut butter jars- use what you’ve got!) and tone your arms, shoulders, and back through three sets of upper body strength exercises.
No previous strength training is required. Although you’ll be able to follow along with audio-only, the strength exercises are much easier to execute with a visual demonstration. You can find that on YouTube here:
