"Loosing and Binding" (Luke 11:14-32) October 27, 2024

We continue in our journey through the Gospel of Luke.

In this sermon, we explore Luke 11:14-32, a compelling passage that showcases Jesus’s authority over demons, his teachings on unity, and a call to genuine repentance. The episode opens with Jesus casting out a demon from a mute man, stirring reactions that reveal the crowd's divided hearts—some accusing Jesus of using demonic power, others demanding a miraculous sign. Jesus rebukes them, emphasizing that a kingdom divided cannot stand and clarifies that his power comes from God, signifying the presence of God’s Kingdom.
