Wholehearted—Loving God: Heart, Soul, Mind, & Strength: A Call for Wholehearted Commitment

Melanie Hill and Christy Crosby Season 2 Episode 1

Send us a text

We are back for our second season of the MomLife Ministries Podcast and our theme is: Wholehearted—Loving God: Heart, Soul, Mind, & Strength.

From now through May we’re going to be talking about what it looks like to wholeheartedly show up to our days—in all of our various roles, responsibilities, and relationships—holding steady to Jesus. Because ultimately, who we are as women, moms, wives, workers, leaders, volunteers, friends, (and so much more!) is shaped by the way in which we know and love God.

One of our biggest encouragements is for you to build your mom community! Some ideas to do that:

  1. Sign up for a MomLife group near you, join our virtual MomLife group, or sign up to participate as an individual (or with a friend). Sign up at: momlife.org/get-connected.
  2. Start a Podcast Club! Grab a friend (or two or three) and listen to the podcast and then have a conversation about it. We’ll always include some discussion prompts in the show notes.

Discussion prompts for today's episode:

  • What’s messy and what’s lovely about your current season of life?
  • Today’s scripture focus: Deuteronomy 6:4-6. How are these words encouraging [or challenging] to you?
  • How might building an intentional mom community be especially helpful and encouraging for you in this current season?
