I had the honor and privilege of speaking to Michael's mother and brother, Scherry and Cedric. Thank you both for your time as I know this was extremely difficult to discuss. On June 10th, 2022, Michael Smith was reported missing by his mother Scherry, which also happened to be her birthday. Michael was thirty-eight at the time of his disappearance. Michael is a man of faith, with a strong belief in God. While living in Texas, he had his own home, his own truck, went to church on a regular basis, and worked two jobs. One job was to pay for his child support, the other job was for his living expenses. Welcome to Missing in America, The First 24 Hours…because the first 24 hours of a missing person’s case are the most critical in finding them…
