Episode 27

Like I do with many families, I wanted to check in with Dylan’s parents to see if there were any updates or if little Dylan had been found. Dylan’s father, Jason agreed to an interview with me to discuss Dylan’s case.

I want to reiterate to my listeners that I am NOT a psychologist as one of my interviewees may have inadvertently suggested. I have a degree in criminal justice and psychology. My background is medicine and working as a behavioral analyst in a criminal lockdown facility.

Jason stated that he has faced cyber-bullying on Facebook and other platforms regarding his child’s disappearance. In fact, it has been so serious that he has been forced to move away from his home where his son vanished and even go so far as to go to court to get an injunction against these Facebook groups. In simple terms, an injunction is a court order which requires a person or persons to do or cease doing a specific action. While he won his case in court, unfortunately multiple Facebook groups continued to crop up, starting cyber-bullying and rumors all over again.  Ultimately, Jason wants to find his son and bring awareness to his son's case.
