My topic for you today is self-worth Self-worth. What is self-worth? Self-worth is the value and respect that you have for yourself. It is how you perceive your own value, abilities and inherent worth as a person. Having a strong sense of self-worth is important for mental and emotional well-being, as it contributes self-confidence, self-respect and overall happiness. It's about recognizing your own worth and treating yourself with kindness and respect. Self-worth is the recognition and appreciation of your own value as a person. It involves having a positive perception of yourself and believing in your abilities and worthiness. Knowing your value and adding tax to it just simply means recognizing your worth and adding even more value to your self-improvement, self-care and self-compassion.

Enforcing self-worth can be done in various situations where your boundaries are being crossed, your needs are not being respected or your worth is being undermined, for example, in a toxic relationship or a toxic marriage, where your partner constantly belittles you and makes you feel unworthy, would involve setting boundaries, speaking up for yourself and ultimately walking away from the toxic relationship or marriage. Two, in a work environment where your talents and contributions are not being recognized or appreciated, enforcing self-worth would involve advocating for yourself, seeking opportunities for growth and development, or even finding a new job where your skills are valued. In your personal life, if you find yourself constantly putting others' needs before your own and neglecting your own well-being, enforcing self-worth would involve prioritizing self-care, creating a Me-time for yourself, setting boundaries with friends and family and learning to say no when necessary. Overall, enforcing self-worth means standing up for yourself, valuing your own needs and priorities and surrounding yourself with people who support and uplift you people who support and uplift you. Some practical strategies and exercises that can help individuals cultivate and strengthen their sense of self-worth over time includes 1.

Practical self-care Taking care of your physical, emotional and general well-being is essential towards building self-worth. This can include activities such as exercise, meditation, spending time in nature or engaging in hobbies you enjoy. 2. Challenge Negative Self--beliefs Pay attention to any negative thoughts or beliefs you have about yourself and challenge them with more realistic and positive perspectives. This can help reframe your mindset and build your self-confidence.

3. Set boundaries. Learning to set and enforce healthy boundaries in your relationships and personal life is important for you for valuing your own needs and priorities. Boundaries can help protect your self-worth and prevent others from taking undue advantage of you or even taking advantage of you. Four practice self-compassion. Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding that you would offer to another friend. Be gentle with yourself during times of struggle or setbacks, and practice self-compassion in all aspects of your life.

5. Celebrate your accomplishments. Take time to acknowledge and celebrate your accomplishments, no matter how big or small they are. Recognizing your successes can boost your self-esteem and reinforce your sense of. Six surround yourself with positive influences. Surround yourself with positive and supportive or it simply who uplift and encourage you. Having a strong support system can help you feel valued and appreciated. By incorporating these strategies into your life and practicing them consistently, you can gradually cultivate and strengthen your sense of self-worth over time. Remember that building self-worth is a journey and it's okay to seek support from others or professional help if needed.

Self-worth is non-negotiable and must be maintained by first respecting and loving yourself before others can follow suit. How you treat yourself is a fine or template or an invitation to treat to others, telling them how to treat you. A Yoruba adage from Nigeria says which simply means, which simply means whatever you will not tolerate in the future. You must refuse or reject it from the very beginning. Do not encourage a conduct that you cannot tolerate. Know when to draw the line and stick to your guns. Do not say you are done with a toxic sexual relationship or a toxic marriage and you still go back to with them. Once you shut that door, never reopen it.

You must discipline yourself to enforce the right things. You must protect yourself from anyone and anything that comes to steal your peace, sanity and self-esteem, and even your self-respect self-esteem and even your self-respect. Do not give up your self-worth for sex, money, position or possession. Know your value and maintain discipline. Eventually, the good you deserve will be attracted to you and it will be worth it in the very end. Attracted to you and it will be worth it in the very end.
