First impressions can be misgiven but character reveals itself over time. King Saul had the potential to be a great King but not in his own ability. In order for King Saul to be successful as King he would have to allow God to work in his heart in strengthening his character through obedience in honoring God. God transforms our hearts as we submit our lives to meditate upon and be transformed by His Word.
