Nina Elise:

Welcome to the Receptive Impact Podcast. I'm your host, nina Elise. Hello friends, and welcome back. I hope that you are having an incredible day. I'm so excited for this episode, as always, because I have been actually waiting to do this episode for a couple of weeks, and the reason behind that is because I wanted to give myself some time to integrate. So what I mean by that is I went to a week-long meditation retreat.

Nina Elise:

If anyone is familiar with Joe Dispenza, I have been studying his work since about 2016 and have been really, really into his work pretty heavily for the past two years, and I finally went to his event a couple of weeks ago in Orlando, florida, and it was intense and life-changing and just amazing and incredible and there are not enough words to describe the experience of being there in that collective energy and the amount of love and just like. The things that happened during that week were just totally magical and I don't really have any other strong words than it was incredible and life-changing. So I'm going to go into a little bit more detail about this retreat. We meditated about 35 to 40 hours the entire week. It was pretty intense. I would describe this retreat as like a mix between Tony Robbins and Ayahuasca. So if you are familiar with either of those, I picked those two things because, tony Robbins, if you've ever been to one of his events, there's like thousands of people there and the energy is just wild and just kind of just intense and overwhelming because of the amount of people there and the energy that is generating from the collective there and it's very motivating. And with Ayahuasca it's much different than that. It's a smaller group, but you're going inward and you're basically cleaning out and purging things that are like identities and emotions and belief systems that you are looking to remove from your body, from your energy field, from your thoughts. So a lot of people go to both of those things in order to heal or change their lives.

Nina Elise:

And I really felt like this Joe Dispenza meditation retreat the advanced week long retreat that I went on was a combination of those two but much more softer. And when I say softer, there is about 1700 people that were at the event, maybe a little bit more, and I was a little bit worried because there were so many people there and I've been kind of hermiting for the past year and I'm not really a crowd person and I was actually just so pleasantly surprised by how soft the energy felt there. It was not overwhelming, it was very welcoming and everyone was so, so, so nice. So before I get into the actual retreat, I'm just going to give you guys a little bit of a background of Joe Dispenza and my history with him and the work that I have done with him and the things that have happened in my life since I started doing his meditation.

Nina Elise:

So Joe Dispenza is basically this guy who got in this accident when he was younger and was told he was going to have to have all these surgeries and would be a little walk normal or walk again, and he basically healed his body through the power of his mind and he vowed that he would help other people do the same if he was able to walk again and be able to share what he did with himself. And so he's totally like an investigator, like scientist, like he's going to go in and understand, like the why he's a doctor. I believe he's a chiropractor, I'm not entirely sure. Anyways, he has a team and researchers and other scientists that are doing a lot of research with him or have been doing over the years to prove the actual science behind meditation and how people can heal themselves through meditation and, in particular, his meditation. So he is the type of person that is just very like. He walks the talk like everything that he presents. He has experimented with himself and he has done it, repeating over and over, and over and over again, until something is repeated enough times that it's actual like a fact versus being like, oh, this may or may not happen. Like a lot of the meditations and the experiences that he has had, he's been able to replicate that within himself with the people and the groups that he leads in his meditation retreats, and he now has a science to actually back it up.

Nina Elise:

And so I'm not going to go too much into too much detail with the actual like science. I mean, I could be here for hours and honestly, this podcast episode might be like a two-parter. We'll see what happens, because there's just so much to talk about and I really want to share, like what the event was like and I want to share some of my experience so you can kind of understand, like what happens during that week, because there's some pretty wild things that happen that are like kind of really unexpected, especially if you're not used to this inner work or like if you've never done ayahuasca or you haven't had psychedelic experiences or you haven't done somatic therapy, where you're like releasing emotions and actually felt your emotions and dealt with them in a while. So it can be kind of jarring in that sense if you're not really familiar with his work Not to say that that's like a bad thing or anything, but basically all of the science that he's doing. He's collecting blood, he's doing brain scans of people in meditation before and after and weeks following. They're doing MRIs before and after. They are testing people with cancer, they are testing the effects of meditation on breast milk, and they have hundreds and thousands of people who are freely volunteering themselves to be a part of these research studies, and so they have massive amounts of data that just cannot be proven wrong, and so they're looking for specific markers about like in the blood that can help reduce certain cells in the body that may not be so good, or help reduce sickness or disease or illness or whatever, and so it's really, really fascinating.

Nina Elise:

Like I said, I'm not going to go into too much detail into this, but if you are interested in learning more about that, you can read. He has a couple of books out and he also has some online courses where he dives way more into detail with the actual science behind his meditations in his work, because so many people are healing around the world because of his meditations and what he is doing and it's not because he's healing them in any way. It's basically he's empowering people to go inward and to take their power back and to heal themselves through the power of belief and by basically going into the quantum field and changing their energetic field, which, in turn, changes their bodies on this physical 3D realm. So maybe that sounds a little like crazy or you don't understand that, but I'll go into a little bit more detail about how I kind of simplified a formula that I'm playing around with at the moment of how I'm approaching reality.

Nina Elise:

So my history with Joe Dispenza is I got into his work in 2016 and read his books and was like super into it, but he didn't have like recorded meditations at the time, so I kind of just like dropped it. And it wasn't until January 2022, someone introduced me to his online course and I took his progressive online course and from there I started meditating about two or three hours a day and at the time I had just gotten out of a long relationship and I was just kind of like, okay, it's kind of floating, I didn't really know what I wanted to do with my life and I had not really developed emotional maturity and looked at a lot of different things within myself. And so it was perfect, because when you do his meditations, basically what you're doing is you're bringing up dense memories or trauma or emotions from those lower centers in the body, bringing them up to be felt and acknowledged and released in some sort of way. And so anyone who gets into Joe Dispenza's work will tell you that you will definitely go through some sort of change in your life if you commit to his work. And it may seem messy or crazy at work or at first, that's it. It's an unfoldment of you stepping into your highest self, you stepping into your power and basically creating a life that is in alignment for you. And so basically when I started his meditations all of my things I wanted to manifest that I would go into his meditations for like healing my body and like having my dream job and like having my dream partner in this dream life, and that's what I was basically meditating on every single day, and the first big change that happened after doing that, for a few months was I lost my job, and that is actually pretty typical or common for people who are going into his work. There are these, I guess, these big shifts that happen in your life, and so when that happened, I was like, how do I do it? So, like any normal person, I bought a one way ticket to Mexico and I had no idea what I was doing with my life, but I knew that I wanted to take this solo trip before I settled down, so I bought a one way ticket to Mexico and it was wonderful and like such a beautiful experience.

Nina Elise:

And when I returned back to the US after about four or five months, my world just completely crumbled. And I have talked about this on previous episodes and videos on my YouTube channel, so I'm not going to go into extreme detail about it. But basically, like I went through the spiritual awakening, I went through a very, very dark night of the soul where all of my shadows, all of my stuff started, just came up all at once and I had to take radical, radical responsibility for the entire creation of my life, everything that I attracted, my career, my relationships, like just what was going on in my body, and it was so overwhelming, like I thought I was losing my mind at some point, like it was just so much emotions coming up at once, years of suppressed emotions just coming up for me to basically process and release. And, long story short, fast forward, from the time that I got back to the US and like started to go through that, I was like really hunkering down on Joseph Spence's meditations and I basically made a vow to myself like I am going to not let this moment pass me by. I know exactly what is happening right now. I'm going to stand in integrity as much as I can and I am going to keep my heart open as much as I can. And so I was doing his meditations two or three hours a day from months and months and they really, really helped me keep afloat, really helped open my heart and just keep me like in alignment with as much as I could be in the moment when I was moving through all that grief and those emotions of basically like the crumbling of my life and everybody in it and letting go of so much. And so, like I said, I really attribute this to his meditations and again, I'm not trying to scare anyone, it's just I'm sharing this process of like how I got into his work and so, basically, as I was going through this, I came to like this blank slate.

Nina Elise:

So when I came to that blank slate, it was like I was okay with nothing. Like I was okay, I just lost and let go of so many important people in my life, like that I had been using as anchors and giving my power away too, and so I was like so completely lost and I was living at my dad's house. Everything I owned was in the back of my Jeep, and it was just like, huh, I survived. I survived the apocalypse. Basically, I have nothing and I had no job, like nothing. And I was like I'm still here.

Nina Elise:

And that was when I made it out to myself that I would continue to show up for myself every single day. And when I came to that blank slate, it was like, huh, okay, I'm not going to be creating or manifesting anything from like a place of ego. It's going to be from like a place of play of like and curiosity of like. Okay, if I can create my reality, I have this blank slate in my life. What do I really want to do? What type of woman do I want to be and like what type of life do I want to create and what type of people do I want in my life? So it really, with all of that happening, it really forced me to get clear about, you know, that type of life that I wanted to create. And so I continued with his meditations for all of 2023.

Nina Elise:

When I created my vision board for the at the beginning of 2023, I, in the middle of the board, his was a picture of Joe Dispenza at a retreat talking to an audience and I took my picture and I pasted my picture on the face of an audience member and that was on my vision board earlier this year and I kind of just like forgot about it. I was just like, oh, I really don't have the money to do this. Like, maybe I'll do it, maybe I won't. It wasn't like the end of the world. And so this entire year of 2023, I was doing so much inner work. I was doing like hours of meditation and EFT tapping and therapy and somatic therapy and like all of this inner work, and I was like basically just coming home to myself and becoming my best friend and tending to my inner child and just doing like this major inner healing for myself, and I finally got to the point where I was like, wow, I'm sick of being sad and I don't know how to basically get moved to the next level on my own.

Nina Elise:

And that was when I decided a few months ago I was like I need to be around other people, I need to be in a higher energy, I need to be around other people who believe that the power lies within them, that they are unlimited, that we are a source in these, these meat suits in in this 3D reality. And so that's when I was like, okay, well, maybe I'll look into, like, is there another choice kinds of meditation retreat and there's one in Orlando? And so I was like, okay, like I actually had the money to go at that time period. And I was like, okay, I think I'll sign up for this. So that was kind of like my journey leading up to choosing to go into his retreat, because my intention was not to like, oh, I want to heal myself or whatever. My intention was to meet new people, to be surrounded by people who are doing their own work and they're curious and they're not afraid to go inside and look at their bullshit. And those are the people that I wanted to be surrounded by.

Nina Elise:

And so when I signed up for the retreat, things started to shift and change, like I was doing his meditations, probably like one to two hours a day, when I woke up in the morning and when I would go to bed at night, and that really helped prepare me for the event. And then also I did his online progressive course again, which is required before you go to the retreat. And it's done that way because there's so much science and so much understanding that needs to be learned before you go, because it helps create this foundation for going into your meditation, so you understand what's going on on a scientific level, which makes the meditations like more impactful and even more believable that you can actually change your life. That's what I really love about the meditations with Joe Dispenza. Some people may think he's out there or this cult leader or something I don't know. All I know is that there is nothing but love in that community and I'm just observing. I'm not fully immersed in that community, but I kind of take what I need and do the meditations and then it changes me and I'm able to give from a more of an open heart because of his work and that's what I really appreciate about his work.

Nina Elise:

So about a month before his retreat, I was going through the coursework every single day, meditating one or two hours every day, and my intentions for the retreat I wrote them down. I'm like, okay, if I could heal or change anything about me, this is what my intention would be to heal this thing about my body or whatever and change this thing about my life. But I had no expectations. I was like, if these happen, great, if not, whatever. I was just here for the experience. So a big part of my intention was like connecting with other people, with like-minded people, getting around that collective energy and just being curious and saying, okay, let's see where this adventure takes me.

Nina Elise:

And because you hear these stories about people who do his meditations and they heal themselves from cancer, and these people who are getting up out of wheelchairs and walking after doing his meditations, because they have mentally rehearsed standing up and walking on their own so many times in their life and in his meditations that they're able to literally heal themselves. And that is what is so incredibly empowering about these meditations and I've had friends who have gone to retreats more than once and they share the same thing where they're. Like I was watching people get up and walk out of wheelchairs that had been in wheelchairs for most of their life, or people who were blind and they started to see again, and just these wild, wild stories and I was like, okay, let's see what happens. Like I said, I had no expectations. So actually, the day before I went to his retreat, I helped host a walking meditation on the beach with a friend and we had like 15 or 20 people come and it's something that we're doing monthly in the area just to like bring the community together.

Nina Elise:

And in that meditation, like I was receiving all of these downloads and these messages and I basically saw like my angels surrounding me and like my like my great grandparents were there and my guides were there. And when I say like I see them, it's like I close my eyes and I just know, like I just know that they're there and I just knew that they were. Like Nina, you were going into something really, really profound and when I was doing the walking meditation, I was just seeing this version of me. Like crossing the river of change is what what Joseph Spencer calls. It is like when you want to change a belief and change something about yourself and your life. You're going to walk through that river of change and it's going to be hard and you're going to encounter resistance and you're with your ego and like you're going to struggle to let go of these identities.

Nina Elise:

And so in that walk I was getting these downloads of these visualizations of me crossing the river of change and looking back and seeing like a net and like versions of me attached, like old past versions of me, like holding onto that net and like dragging me down. And I realized in that walking meditation I was like, oh my god, I have to let those old versions of me completely die and just let them go. And so as the walk went on, it was like I let go of those versions of me and so that version was able to walk across the river to maybe like the middle or three quarters. And then I saw the next version of me and as I reached for the hand of the next version of me, I realized that I had to die in order to be that next version of me. And so it was kind of like this foreshadowing of the actual event, because I did go through this like death and rebirth in some sense during that week, especially in the longer meditation that we did, I definitely I had a mystical experience and just completely changed me in so many different ways and I will go a little bit more into detail about that.

Nina Elise:

So I don't really want to share too much about like the actual layout of the retreat. Maybe when I talk I'll share more, but if anyone is interested in going into his retreats, I actually told my friends not to tell me what to expect because I didn't want to have any expectations going into the retreat. I wanted to be surprised, I wanted to go in not knowing. So I'm going to share like bits and pieces here and there. I had a lot of pretty intimate experiences with myself and my meditations that I will most likely not share with with anyone here, partly because it's only been a few weeks after retreat and I am still processing so much that has happened since then and I'm sure there will be another podcast or something later down the road where I might speak in more detail about this as things shift and change, because there are things that I'm experimenting with.

Nina Elise:

When I went to the retreat it was almost like there are these missing puzzle pieces that I needed in order for things to like click in and for me to really like play at the next level and I'm still kind of like processing that and playing with those. So, basically, the whole, the whole retreat, it's it's. It's one week long, from Sunday to Saturday. You're meditating six or seven hours a day, and that's where I think, if you have not prepared or done the meditations like, it can be a little bit like shocking or jarring for people or really challenging for people. But honestly, I did not find any issue with it, not just because I've been meditating before, but I think I like I'm the type of person that goes fully all in whenever I like get interested in something, and so I was like I'm in this 500,000%, I'm focused, I'm here and I wanted to get the most out of my own experience. So I was like in it for every single meditation that we were in.

Nina Elise:

But I do want to say that it's important to do the meditations before or like leading up, at least a few months before, because there you are shifting energy in your body and in your energetic field and when that happens there's typically somatic releases, so you might cry, you might scream, you might shake, you might shiver, you might feel really hot, like there are so many different ways that your body can release those emotions and those energies and if you're not used to that, it can feel a little jarring or a little scary. And so, if you can imagine, there are like 1700 people in this ballroom and we're all deep in meditation for like two hours and you get like these random people screaming or crying throughout the room and it's like these people are processing years of trauma that they had suppressed for so long that was causing illness in their body or they're releasing these old, outdated belief systems and they're going through these deaths in that room. And so to me I'm like, okay, like this is normal. This is like an ayahuasca ceremony, minus the like physical purging, so it's more gentle in that aspect, but there is definitely like a lot of somatic releasing throughout the week.

Nina Elise:

So that is something that I really wanted to mention and share, because I think there are a lot of new people that were going there and it's really, really incredible and so inspiring to see people just go head on into that and to face all of that and to have that intimate experience with themselves, because this retreat really is all about you. It is about you coming home to yourself. It's about you looking at your stuff and having the courage to let go of the parts of you that are not serving you or anyone else, and sometimes that means letting go of a marriage, letting go of a job, like moving across the country, like so many different things. But it's also just like these ingrained identities that you have about yourself and having the courage to look them in the face and saying, okay, like I'm okay with letting you go and not knowing what's on the other side and so that's what Dr Joe talks a lot about is like you're basically walking into the unknown and these meditations because you are crossing that river of change and you are letting go and those old versions of you are dying off and you have no idea who or what you're going to be on the other side, what's going to happen in the 3D reality when your energetic field changes, and so I think that that can feel very scary, or like people may not understand that, or they do and they're just like I'm so sick of like who I am or where I'm at right now that I will like do anything, and it's really it's beautiful, like to see all these people come here to have these changes and so, like I said, I'm not going to go too much into the science, but basically we go into these meditations and you're going into the quantum field, you're doing a combination of breath work and you know we're basically activating this electromagnetic field in our heart center, we're connecting with our heart center, we're connecting our heart with our mind and we're going into the quantum field and we're basically downloading a program or a new program from the quantum field and downloading it back into the body with the combination of the mind and that got charged up emotion from the heart center.

Nina Elise:

And so I would say that's like the most easiest way to to describe like the meditations I mean there are so many different meditations that we do and there's a lot of science behind it Like, when we do the breath work, we're pulling energy up, we're pulling cerebral fluid all the way up from the perineum, all the way up to the pineal gland and it's basically activating a radio receiver in the brain and sending out like these electromagnetic, electromagnetic signals to bring back a similar matching vibration or energy into your life. And so it can be very, very powerful and everyone's experience is so different because everybody has different intentions, they have different things, that they're dealing with different traumas, that they're trying to release, different identities that they're trying to release. So it's never like, hey, like what's your experience, so you know what to expect, like it's not going to be something that that you really expect at all, because you're going into the unknown. So this is actually something that I have been playing around with on like a micro level is basically like coming to a place of silence, like closing my eyes and going into the quantum field.

Nina Elise:

When I say go into the quantum field, it's almost like I see a door and I open the door and there's just like completely black space and when I step through the door, the door disappears. And even when I walk forward, I'm always going to be in the middle of that black space. I can walk forwards, backwards, side to side, go up, go down. There's no up or down, there's no Easter West, there's like none of it. It's just this empty space and that's this quantum field. That's what 99.99% of our cells are at that empty space.

Nina Elise:

So I like to look at it as like I'm actually going deep into the empty space that lies within me and the body is just the point, zero, zero, zero, one percent matter that is still there, but I'm not putting my attention on that. I'm putting it into the quantum space where everything and nothing exists and an infinite amount of potentialities exists there, and so I look at it as like when I go into the quantum field, I'm going in with my intention and I'm saying, okay, here's my intention. To get clear before I go into the meditation, it's very key that you do that and you connect with your heart space. You activate that electromagnetic field in your heart and then you connect with your brain and you set your intention and you're in that quantum space. And I like to view it as like when I get in that quantum space with my intention, so say, for example, I'm like I want to step into the role of CEO who's confident and, you know, can speak clearly and whatever, like, whatever trait, whoever you want to be, whatever you want in your life, and I look at it as like there's rows and rows and rows of infinite amount of NENAs in this quantum space that just show up, and when I say this is what I want, this is the program I want to download, this is who I want to be, it's like all of those NENAs disappear and the one NENA of who I got clear on who I want to be is what's left and from there it's almost like I take her and I download her back into this physical body and I do that by having an amplified emotion from my heart space.

Nina Elise:

So I've been really playing around with this a little bit in my everyday life and have been very pleased with some of the results that I've been getting. It's been cool to play around with that because it really is just like the power of the mind and we're working in this fifth dimension where every possibility exists and when we figure out these shortcuts of how to manifest things in this 3D reality, like we can play and we can have fun with it. So there are obviously like bigger things, like illness in the body and things like that, where it's going to take longer to change or manifest or it may not be as believable. So it takes longer for that to change in the 3D reality for some people, and that's totally fine. Some people I know like what they talk about at the retreats is that they've been doing that work for 10 or 15 years until they got their healing. And then there's people who get healings in an instant.

Nina Elise:

And so I think it's just more of you're making a decision to show up for yourself every single day in those meditations and you decide to know that you're changed. Like you are, it's already done. So when you go into that meditation, you're making that change, and when you come out and you open your eyes at the end of that meditation, you know you're changed. You're a new person, you have downloaded a new character, you have downloaded a new reality, and then you act as if and that's where I think a lot of people get tripped up, including myself, where I'm like oh, I opened my eyes, but I'm still seeing my regular reality.

Nina Elise:

Well, this is where you kind of have to be delusional in some sense when you're trying to manifest these things in your life, because you're working with quantum physics here and it's the power of the belief that is going to create this new, like shift or change in your 3D reality, and so you have to be patient because this reality moves a little bit slower. The frequency is slow, move slower, it's more dense versus if you think about working in the quantum field and the 5D, that frequency moves much, much faster. Things can manifest so much faster versus like being here. It's much more slower to manifest, which is actually a really great thing, because if you're not aware, you don't want to be manifesting every single thought in your mind, and so this is where we get to have like that pause in between and we get to tweak and play around with what we really actually do want to manifest, and sometimes that that takes some time.

Nina Elise:

Some really big themes that came up for me was connecting more with my heart and opening up my heart. So I was like literally having conversations with my heart and learning how to connect with it and connect my mind with my heart, and it was very beautiful experiences and really having a deep, deep realization of how powerful my mind is and the effect of it, of my mind, on my actual body and really understanding on a deeper level the responsibility for what goes on in my mind, how I'm speaking about myself, how I'm speaking about other people. You know these things on a surface level, but like when you really really go deep into it and you're really having an intimate, like deep experience in a meditation with yourself and you're connecting with yourself on a deeper level, you're understanding and seeing things a little bit deeper, and so for me it was very much like, wow, I'm a very, very powerful being, and at first I really shied away from that power. But that was probably the biggest theme for me for the week was stepping into my power over my body, taking my power back and my body taking my power back. I was like taking my power back from other people that I had been giving my power away to that were generating, creating all of these lower negative emotions that I was really struggling to let go of, and so it was really just a completely empowering week for me to really step into that and had some pretty profound moments like mystical experiences during the week and my and my meditations where I was literally watching like generational beliefs systemically leave my body and like just watching that power just be reclaimed in my physical body and then like feeling it and then really acting like as if. So it was pretty, pretty beautiful for me personally.

Nina Elise:

During the week I definitely cried a few times. I was like I'm like crazy, but there was a meditation that really really shifted things for me. I was really having some anxiety during the week and they have therapists and doctors on staff, so I went and talked to a therapist and she's like, yeah, this is normal and this is before. We went into a really long meditation. We meditated for a one morning and it's pretty long. It's like four or five hours. Honestly, time did not exist for me at all that week, so like it was honestly was nothing for me and for most people.

Nina Elise:

So she was like you know, when you go into that room, you have to know that when you leave the room you are not going to be the same person, and so basically I made the decision with conviction that I was not leaving that room as I was in that moment. So he basically like accepted my own death and I was at peace with it, and in that moment it completely liberated me from attaching myself to any experience that I might have in the actual meditation, because I already knew the outcome. I already knew that I was not leaving that room the same person and so it took any pressure, expectation of, like what my actual experience was going to be, and my only responsibility in that meditation was to listen to Joe's voice and his meditation and to put my focus on each of the centers as we went up and as we did the breath work and I definitely had this experience where I returned home to source to myself and it was the most joyful, incredible, beautiful moment I've really ever experienced. And that feeling has maybe faded a little bit, but it's like more, like an inner knowing now, and so for me it's like it's something that I own within myself and it's very different than before. It's very empowering.

Nina Elise:

And when that meditation opened, like I had been like laughing and like smiling the whole meditation. And when that meditation ended, he was like okay, come back to me, you can open your eyes. And I like took my eye mask off. And as soon as I took my eye mask off, I knew everything was different. I knew I was different, I knew everything had changed and I just started bawling my eyes out and it wasn't like a typical, like I'm sad cry, it was just a very cleansing cry and because to me it was, it felt like this death and this rebirth. And I just turned to the woman next to me and I just like held my arms out, I just like sobbed in her arms.

Nina Elise:

And after that I was like I started talking to a friend and I was like oh my God, my voice is different. And I was like looking at my hands and I was like how's, like my body is not even different, like it was like this totally surreal experience and I just I share that like. To me, this part is not really like relevant, it's just the after effects of the meditation and you can try to like put meaning to all of it. But that was the experience that I really wanted to share, because I know people share their healing moments and like all these other things, and I definitely had really intense healing moments that I'm most like will not share on here, but that was probably a really profound one that I wanted to share, just so you guys can get kind of like a sneak peek of, like the potentialities of what happens on their retreat and what happens when people go in and connect with themselves and they're able to return home to God, to source whatever, whatever you want to call it, the universe. Like I was like floating around in the universe for like 40 hours straight that week and it was just really beautiful and just it was really intense and required a lot of focus and discipline to be there and to show up, but to me it was just an act of complete self-love. I honestly have no idea how long this podcast is right now, but I'm going to keep going because I have a couple more things I want to talk about, so this may be an extra long episode.

Nina Elise:

So there are there's walking meditations that we do. So basically you get into this meditative state but your eyes are open and you're basically walking as if you are that belief system that you're trying to reprogram, whether it's a healing in your body or a mindset or whatever it may be. And those are actually my favorite meditations. I could do them on the beach here a few times a week. They're like 70, 75 minutes and then you're like you're stopping and you're like putting your hands on your heart and then it's just evoking all of these emotions in you and then you're like lying down at the end and you might do some breath work as well with it.

Nina Elise:

But I am in such a state like a high state of joy after all of those walking meditations which I love, love to do them so, so much. It is so worth the time investment to do that, and I am that crazy person on the beach that is like waving their arms, like with a huge smile on their face and dancing and like just having the time of their lives and just, and then stopping in front of the ocean with just like tears streaming down my face because I'm in such a state of joy, and so I am that person on the beach. So, if you see me, just don't talk to me because I am in the middle of an experience. But yeah, the walking meditations were really, really incredible. They were my favorite part of the week and then even after, and then we also did something called coherence healings. We did a couple of those during the week Really want to mention this because there's a lot of research being done on this, because there's remote coherence healings, there's in-person coherence healings, and so basically people were designated as healers and healies at the event, and I was a healer and the healies were typically people who have like cancer, like really big illnesses or issues that they're trying to overcome, and so basically what happens is the healies go into the room.

Nina Elise:

They go into a meditative state. They're laying on the ground. There's six chairs around each person and then the healers stand outside. They get in a meditative state, open up their heart center, go into the room. There's six of us that stand around or sit around each healie and we basically like open up our hearts and we put our hands over the people and that are sick and we're. We can feel the energy like coming out of your hands and it's creating this coherent energetic field over the body of the healie. And what we're essentially doing is we are changing the illness or whatever it may be that's in that person's energetic field to help heal them in some sense, and so we're just giving them like a little bit of a boost or some help in that scenario, and so that was incredible.

Nina Elise:

For me, it was like a completely different experience. We did three different coherent healings that week and the first one the energy was so intense in the room that I almost ran out of the room. It was so overwhelming. The second time, I was just complete, like a complete baby. I was just broke, broke down in tears, because to be able to give that love and energy to another person without wanting anything in return was just like this, such an incredible, beautiful experience, and I will always remember like those moments of being in those room with those people like just such strong, strong human beings who are there fighting for their lives, and we were there like helping them in some way, and it's like such a gift to be able to give or to share that with those people. I think that's all I wanted to talk about.

Nina Elise:

With the actual retreat, like I said, I'm still integrating it, so there are some things that I have changed and played around with since I have gotten back. I'm playing around with, I'm doing and waking up at 4am in the morning. I'm doing the meditations in the morning and then I do them before I go to bed. So I'm typically a night owl and I'm up to like 12 or one in the morning, but my entire schedule has flipped. So now I'm up at 4am, I'll do my meditation for an hour and a half, I might fall back asleep or I might stay up. Like today, stayed up and I worked out and I was super energized. I just have so much energy from doing all of these meditations. So my whole schedule has has changed them in bed around like nine or ten o'clock every single night and I'm like, wow, I'm actually doing really, really great with not having a lot of sleep and I just feel stronger and it's a really. I just feel so, so energized.

Nina Elise:

And I'm a couple of weeks after the retreat and I feel like I, you know, stuff came up and like old stuff started to come up. But I felt very much like in my power was like I'm not giving attention to any of that, to those old belief systems of like my body can't handle this or whatever, and I'm just feeling like, wow, our bodies are really limitless. And so I'm kind of like testing around and playing around with, like what those limits are for me and how this new schedule is going to work for me, since I like basically completely flipped it around and it's helping me be more focused and disciplined with my work, and I guess that I'm just in this like constant state of joy, like and happiness all the time. It's just really incredible.

Nina Elise:

And another thing that I want to say is what I do every single morning after my meditations and get up and I basically have a team meeting with myself. So you guys might laugh at me for this, but basically I am talking to my cells every single morning. I'm giving them this, this huge pep talk, and saying, hey guys, like I love you so much, like we are a team, we're working together, I'm going to do my best to have the most uplifting thoughts all day for you and like basically just letting my cells know that I'm their biggest advocate and they're kind of like my minions, that we're all working together and we're all just like one team. And I really thoroughly enjoyed having those team meetings every single day and doing that in conjunction with like dance parties and just like really keeping my my energy up. In that sense, I'm just having like so much fun with it. So, yeah, I'm just being more mindful of my thoughts and just having fun playing around with all of this. So I may do an update later down the road just to see how I'm feeling after all this retreat and what other things have shifted.

Nina Elise:

I would say the biggest thing is like like people have been messaging me or when I see people in person, they don't recognize me and they're like wait, you look different, like what's different about you, and I'm like I don't, I don't know, like I'm just me. So I really think that it's just a combination of a lot of the work that I've been doing, but I just feel more free, I feel more alive, I feel more energized, I feel there's more purpose and more connected to source and myself and I don't really care about what other people think about me or whatever I'm. Just I'm in the highest state that I want to be in and how I want to show up every single day and that is the type of woman that that I want to be. And anytime I dip down, I give myself grace and I allow myself to feel things, because we're human and we're going to have the highs and the lows. So it's not like I'm bypassing that. I still have those moments where I have the highs and the lows. The only difference is I'm not staying in those states and allowing myself to dwell in those states.

Nina Elise:

And that is actually really, really huge for me because for a very, very long time that was like my set point of like EOR, where I was just like I would just be like a magnet to those like lower thoughts or be stuck on grief or sadness or whatever, and I just couldn't get out of that. And I am just so determined I'm like that is not who I'm choosing to be anymore and it's like it just gets easier and easier and easier every single day as I show up for myself because I'm more grounded within myself and I feel more powerful within myself and like who I am and what I really desire in my life and the type of person that I want to show up as every single day, even when it's really really hard. So those are, I think, the top things that I'm really experimenting with and working in the quantum field. So more to come on all of that. And yeah, just overall, that whole whole retreat was incredible. It was life changing in a lot of ways because there are a lot of things that shifted for me on an energetic level, releasing a lot of belief systems, and I'm really excited to continue playing around with this work. Maybe I'll go to another retreat later down the road. It's honestly not like top of my mind because there are so many things that I still want to play around with and I'm really curious to see how this is going to show up in my 3D reality as things start to shift and change because of the shifts and changes that are happening within my meditations. So I hope you guys enjoyed this episode and it was understandable to you, because I know it goes into more of the science and the quantum physics and I am not a scientist, but I do my best to understand and learn as much as possible.

Nina Elise:

But this work with Joe Dispenza is. It's very profound and it's one of those things like it's just another tool. It is another tool to create change in your life. So whether you resonate with this or not, it doesn't matter. It is just another tool for shifting and changing your belief systems. And this is the route that I'm exploring right now and I'm having so much fun doing it and having these experiences and really loving that. It's bringing me back home to myself even more, and so, depending on what your intention is or what you want to do, maybe meditations your thing, maybe it's not.

Nina Elise:

All I know is that my dedication and my curiosity and my playfulness is an approach that I feel like is very is serving me very well when doing these meditations, versus going in and being very serious and having expectations, it's just like. It's just like brushing my teeth. I'm like I love myself enough to show up every single day for this, no matter how hard it is, and you're basically like telling yourselves and you're you're telling your brain like I'm going to do this every single day, no matter what, and you're proving to yourself that you are committed to yourself, that you believe that this is going to work, and so, over time, you actually do see the results. And so, depending on the person or how good you are at putting your attention on that or shifting your thoughts throughout the day or doing the meditations, the timeline is that is going to be different for each person, not a good or a bad thing, it's just, you know, everyone is different.

Nina Elise:

So, yeah, that is it for the advanced retreat for Joe Dispenza, and I would love to hear from you guys if this resonated with any of you. I would love to hear from you. So feel free to email me at hello, at Nina dash Elisecom, and I'm happy to talk to you guys. I'm sure I will share more on my social channels and as I continue to integrate and learn more about all of this work and just about myself in general, because this work has been so profound for myself and I would love to share more, the more that I get comfortable with it and the more that I learn about it and the impacts of it and how I can actually work with this in a way that's easy. That will be beneficial for other people as well. So more to come on all of that. So thank you all so much for tuning in and I will see you guys on the next episode. Bye.
