Speaker 1:

Welcome to the Receptive Impact Podcast. I'm your host, nina Elise. Hello everyone, it is Nina and I am back for a fresh new episode and we are going to talk about human design. So if anyone is familiar with my work or knows me, you know that I have been deep into human design for the last four plus years and it is a system or a tool that has greatly, greatly impacted my life. It is something that I use with my clients, it is something that I use when I interact with my coworkers and my family members and my friends, and it has been so helpful for me to expand my own self-awareness. And so today I'm going to share more about human design and I'm going to give a little bit of a background about what exactly it is and how I personally have used it as a system and as a guide, and how I found it, and just my whole experience and experimentation with it and how I use it in order to interact and work with different people and with my clients.

Speaker 1:

I really wanted to do this episode on human design from the start of my podcast, but it just didn't feel right for some reason. Whenever I tried to record the podcast, it just ended up being like this huge disaster and I just kind of just set it aside and I was like I'm going to dive into this later. And I feel like there is a reason for that, and part of that is because as you go into your experiment with human design and the more that you use it in your life, your perception of it starts to shift and change and how you interact with that system it changes. And so I feel like the past six months or so, or however long I've had my podcast up, a lot has shifted and changed in the way that I view the world and how I actually use the system with myself and with my clients, and so I feel like I am going to be able to give you guys a much more broader perspective and a more enriched way of how to work with human design as a system. And I recently presented at an event the other weekend and I had so much fun talking about it and I was like I could talk about this for the next 10 hours and I really just kind of forgot how much I really love talking about all things human design.

Speaker 1:

And it's something that I still share on my social media on Instagram, and I do human design videos, but more specifically to my type, which I'll go into a little bit more in depth in this podcast, and the way that I use human design or share it is more sharing my experiences. So it's not like this is how it is and this is how you need to use it. It's more experiential knowledge or wisdom that I share, based on my own experiences, and so there are different ways that a person can share or use this system, and that is personally how I have used it. So, for those who are manifesters, you are the lucky ones that get to benefit from me sharing and working with the system more specifically to that type. So, just to begin with, human design I'm just going to give you this breakdown of what exactly it is and where it came from and how you can personally use it. So human design is a system that combines the Aicheng astrology, the Kabbalah tree, the Hindu Brahman chakra system and quantum physics to basically create this unique blueprint or body graph for each person, based on their exact birth date, time and location of birth, and so it's this huge mashup of all of these ancient systems that have been around for years and years and years and all combined into one, and the depth of this system is incredible, like you could study a sliver of it and not even go that deep into it and explore it for the rest of your life. And so there's just so much that you can go in and experiment with and play with this system.

Speaker 1:

And a lot of people approach human design as more of a surfacing thing where you learn the basics, and even that is helpful. So it's again something that you can use very simply, or it can be something that you really connect with and you dive very, very deep into, and there's no right or wrong with any of that. It's just more of you know what are those things that you connect with and how do you want to work with this. I like sharing the whole background around human design because it's very mystical. It's really amazing, incredible how everything connects with all of the different systems, because you know, with the iChing you have those 64 gates and codons that match up with the gates in human design, and so there's similarities and pairings between these different systems. And then you have the shocker system that is paired with the centers that are in the human design system, and so I'll go a little bit more in depth in that.

Speaker 1:

So I really like to think of the human design body graph as like this map of ourselves that we can really explore for our entire lives. So it's kind of like this guidance system and it provides an in-depth look at who we truly are so the conscious and the unconscious aspects and it really gives tools to remove conditioned parts of ourselves so that we can find the unique diamond of who we really are underneath. So it's just it brings this expanded self-awareness that you can look at and start to look at things within yourself and say where have I been conditioned by my external environment or those external authorities like my parents or my teachers or my friends or the government or things like that? And it brings you back to your own internal guidance system, your strategy and your authority to live a life. That is from a place of sovereignty, versus allowing other people and external things to constantly dictate you. And so I really like human design from that perspective because it's very empowering. It's basically you get to hang out with yourself and learn about yourself deeper and deeper and deeper the more that you go into the system and work with it, and for me the process has honestly been like becoming my own best friend, which is like really incredible, because when you learn about your design, it's like it's you know, it's like this blueprint, and it gives you permission to accept parts of yourself that you may have suppressed your entire life, like these skills and these gifts, because we thought we had to be in this box and we had to live a certain way, and it helps us to discover and experience very deep inner peace and self-love in a lot of ways.

Speaker 1:

And what I really like about human design is that it's not here to tell you what to do or even what to believe. It's here to show you how to be the most aligned version of yourself by bringing yourself back to you and your body in that internal guidance system through your strategy and your authority, stepping into and really owning aspects of yourself, the good and the bad, which really aren't like. I don't really like to label anything as good or bad, but from like a societal standpoint, we might say, well, this is like a really beautiful gift. And then here's like the shadow aspect of something where we might be acting out of alignment with who we are, out of alignment from a place of love. That's one thing I also really appreciate about human design, because there is so much shadow work that is wrapped up in the system that you get to become aware of, because it's not just you know you're learning about. You know your centers and your shadow junior authority you're learning about.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I do this thing, and this is because I'm taking on the conditioning from this person in my open heart center and I'm trying to prove something. And so you get to dive deeper into that if you have the courage to be honest with yourself about these potentialities and own them within yourself and be the observer and and contemplate and sit with this and say where may I be playing this out in my life? And so a lot of this process of diving into your human design is really just like peeling back layers and really getting to know yourself and saying how can I use this as like a map to play around with and experiment with and say does this resonate with me or does this not resonate with me? And that is where you learn to take back your sovereignty and your power to say this is a life that is in alignment for me and with me. And so that is the way that I have really approached human design. I think that human design can become this religion or this ideology or this new belief system.

Speaker 1:

And again, not a bad thing, because I truly believe as consciousness, we come down into these, this 3D reality, into these bodies, and we're here to experience an infinite amount of things and ways of living and being, and maybe one of those things is to be hardcore into religion or hardcore into human design or hardcore into whatever system. I don't believe that there's any right or wrong way to live your life. So this is how I've really approached human design is saying, okay, you know, if I were to live my life to a T, to human design, then that would be an experience that I could have. And then I sit with that on my body and say, okay, how does this feel for me? And I don't want to say like this is the end, all be all, because I don't feel like human design is like that at all. I think there is a lot of truth to human design and you can take what you need from it.

Speaker 1:

And for me personally, I will most likely use human design for the rest of my life and I will continue to experiment and go deeper with it when I feel called to, and it is one of those things that you can go to when you're feeling lost or you need a little direction or you're feeling disconnected from yourself. And you get to. You're basically handed this, this chart or this blueprint that says, okay, here are like these potentialities of who you could be and hear like the amazing skills that you came here, that you were just naturally good at, and this is how this archetype that could potentially be playing out with other people and how you show up in the world. And this is your, your purpose, and how might this be playing out? Where might you be preventing yourself? And where the shadows are, where is the the, not self or the mind trying to prevent you from really stepping into that, because the mind is trying to control everything. So it really is a system that can be very deeply explored.

Speaker 1:

But I'm also very, very mindful when I speak about human design and share this with my clients, because I say this is a tool just like anything else. Whether it is you're reading the Bible or you're learning about Jean Keys or the Enneagram or whatever like. Anytime you go deeply into a system, it is there to provide support for you, to help you to remember who you are and anytime there is a system that says this is it and anything else that is not in alignment with it is not the truth. Like, I tend to run far away from that because I feel like that is very limiting and it's not coming from a loving place and you know that is that person's truth and that is OK. But if you do not resonate with it and it is not your truth, then you know you don't have to accept that. So, like I said, working with human design, it can be just another ideology or belief system that you take on, that you can attach yourself to and it can become a foundation for you and, again, not a bad thing. But for me personally, it is again a tool that can be very moldable and played around with and you get to be the one that gets to experiment with that, to bring this back into your body and say what is coming up for me, how can I tap into what is my truth, and for me that is how human design has been, this empowering system, to bring me back to my own internal guidance system.

Speaker 1:

So, with all of that being said, I'm going to give this basic overview of human design and kind of like just the basics of when you're first starting out that you really want to get a grasp or understand about. So I'll go through the different things. So I'll go through the different types of human design and the centers and your strategy authority, and so those are kind of like the main big things If you're first learning about human design. That I would recommend exploring. If you want to go a little bit more in depth, I have a free chart that you can download on my website. It's a report so there's like 45 pages or more, depending on your design, and it's uniquely catered to what your human design is. So you'll get that custom report for free. So if you go to my website at Nina dash Elise dot com, you can see there's a link at the top of my website called the big leap and if you click on that and you just fill your information out through there, through that process, then you will get that free report. So after this podcast, if you want to go more in depth, I highly recommend going there as like the next step to exploring and integrating that information.

Speaker 1:

But for the purpose of this podcast, if you want to go to my website at Nina dash Elise dot com. If you're not familiar with human design or you don't know your design, that first landing page that you show up, that shows up on my website you can input all of your birth dates and time and location. Then you will see your type and your strategy and your authority and look at the centers within your chart. And if you don't know your exact birth time, that's a little bit trickier because, depending on how much the chart could change throughout the day, you might be a different type or a different authority. So, with that being said, if you are struggling with not knowing what your exact birth time is, feel free to email me and I can send over some resources to help you or figure out what might be the possibility for your chart. And the reason why you need your exact birth time is because, like, even down to the second, different things about your charts can change and so that's why it's so important to have the exact time. So, if you're not sure, again email me at hello at Nina dash Elise dot com. I'm happy to help you out with that. If you go and put in your like a guest time, then you can follow along with this and see, oh, I resonate more with this type or this strategy or authority and that you might be able to say, okay, this is where I feel like it lands more for me. So, with all of that being said, I'm going to go into what exactly is human design in a little bit deeper level than what I just shared about the background of it.

Speaker 1:

So, with human design, when you put in your exact birth date and time, you have four different types that could show up, that you could potentially be. So you have the generators and the manifesting generators. So this is just one type is the generator. So you have the pure generator and the manifesting generator, and the generators make up about 70% of the population and they have a defined sacral center in their chart. They have this life force, energy that is here to really like, take action, and here to just respond to life, and it's very powerful. It's like this motor that is constantly running in the generators. So, yeah, they're about 70% of the population.

Speaker 1:

And then, next up, we have our projectors, which are about 20, 21% of the population, and they are here to guide and they are basically masters of managing energy efficiently. So they are ideal leaders and they're here to provide really deep wisdom for all the other other types, especially the generators, and that is something to do with the way the background energy is shifting in 2027. I'm not gonna go into any additional detail with that, but basically, like, the projectors are really stepping up in a much bigger role to help guide the energy of the generators in the coming years, which is really beautiful. And then we have our manifestors, and they are about eight or 9% of the population. From what I understand, there is gonna be a huge increase in manifestors in the next like 10, 15 years or so. And so, basically, manifestors I am a manifestor myself we're here to initiate. We are the only type that has the correct and natural ability to get things started. So we're here to make an impact on the world. We're here to initiate and birth new things into the world.

Speaker 1:

So very, very powerful based on, like, our aura and what we're here to do, and we're not necessarily like a huge part of the way society is set up. Today, the way society is set up is very much like a generator run world and again, this is not a bad thing, but for manifestors it can feel like you know where do we fit in? We don't really do well with a nine to five job. We're kind of like these lone wolves that wanna go off and kind of do our own thing, and so it can be very challenging to find our place in the world. And then, because our aura is closed off and repelling, that can cause a lot of resistance or rejection. And so I'm not gonna go too much into detail of that, but I'm just sharing, because each of our types, like we, have our own stuff to deal with and the way that we are able to operate in this world. And it can be very challenging for our non-energy types, like our projectors and our manifestors, because we don't have that sacral energy and we're not meant to necessarily work on this plan schedule. We're here to guide or we're here to initiate in our own timing and in our own place, and so it can be kind of confusing to be operating in this world and trying to fit in from that perspective.

Speaker 1:

And then, lastly, the fourth type is the reflector. So you have the reflector, which is about 1% of the population, and they are very open and very receptive. So if you're looking at a body graph, they're gonna have all of their centers open. All of the centers are going to be white. So they're basically like these chameleons and they're here to reflect back the health of the community and the environment. They're a very rare type. They're really incredible and interesting people to be around, just constantly reflecting back, and so it's always interesting to be around a reflector. The interactions and the people that I have been around that I know that are reflectors. I've always had really beautiful, incredible experiences around them and I really enjoy being in their presence.

Speaker 1:

So I'm gonna go into the centers of the body graph. So, like I mentioned the centers, they are based on a nine centered chart or nine centered like shocker system. So you have the seven centered shocker system and, with human design, we have basically evolved into a nine centered system. And so when you look at the body graph, you're going to see nine centers that are in alignment with the shocker system. However, there's going to be two additional centers, which are the G center and the spleen, and so the G center is all about identity and love and direction, and then you have the spleen, which is a very primal center. It's all about intuition and it's just a very primal center. And so those are the differences from outside of what's presented in an actual seven shocker system but pretty much very similar, the same energies that are expressed in all of those seven centered systems. And when you go through the chart, you might be looking at your chart and you're like, why are some colored in? Why are some white? The ones that are colored in, those are aspects of your chart.

Speaker 1:

That is the energy that you are here to bring. It is a very consistent energy that you bring to the table, to when you're interacting with other people, and the centers that are white or open, those are the centers where you're taking in information. You're here to gain wisdom in this lifetime. You can take on other energies and themes from other people when you are around them and they have that defined center and yours is undefined or open. And so this is a huge learning experience to really get to know who you are, what your defined centers are, what those energies are, so that when you are around other people who have those defined centers where you are undefined, you know when you are picking up and taking on other people's energies. And that is where you get to learn in this game of life. And so it can be a very humbling experience, especially when you're picking up other people's emotions or their thoughts or their fears, or feeling pressure from other people, or picking up sacred energy that you don't have and you're amplifying that and you don't know when enough is enough. And that's where you get a little bit more into like that shadow work and really stepping into your sovereignty and learning how to listen to your strategy in your authority. And so, with that being said, outside of the centers, I'm going to tell you a little bit more about strategy and authority.

Speaker 1:

So these are two very big aspects of human design. To start off, the strategy is basically all about how you move through life. So think of using your strategy like a guide and it's just aligning you with that correct environment and the people for you, and it's one of the more important human design concepts to experiment with. So if you're not aligned with your strategy, you could miss people or places and opportunities intended for you, or you could commit to things that are maybe not correct or in alignment for you. So each type has a unique strategy based on their aura and that offers guidance for how one might evaluate whether something is right for them or not. So your strategy is going to offer like this. It's like this practical tool designed to guide your decision-making process and helps you act in accordance with your nature. So each of the types has a different strategy.

Speaker 1:

So with the generator, you have the strategy of wait to respond. So generators are just here to respond to life. They have a very open and inviting aura and they're here to constantly be responding to things. Then you have your projectors and their strategies to wait for the invitation. They are the guides. They have this very penetrating aura that can see very deeply into people and they know how to guide that energy. I kind of sometimes view projectors as like the Buddha's on the rock. They're there, they have that deep wisdom and that natural ability and when they are doing their own thing, people will be attracted to that aura and they will come and invite the projector in to share their wisdom, to share what it is that they need to share with the other person.

Speaker 1:

Then you have your manifestor, and manifestors are here to inform, because manifestors are here to initiate and have a really big impact on the world. The manifestors we need to communicate. We need to tell other people what we're doing, because when we get urges to bring newness and birth these new ideas into the world, we initially want to react and we want to just go full on and execute and initiate whatever that urge is. However, we can get into trouble in the sense that other people are around us and we don't necessarily know what the heck it means to inform, because other people are wondering what we're doing and they can cause resistance to us. When we begin to inform other people who are going to be impacted by our decisions and bringing this idea into the world, it's going to reduce the resistance from other people and it's going to possibly even have those people say how can I support you? Informing is basically just saying hey, this is what I'm doing, take it or leave it, but you need to know this because it's going to impact you in some way, whether it's directly or indirectly. It's not about asking for permission when you are informing. It is simply communicating, and sometimes over communicating, so that other people know that we are up to, because our energy is so big and so impactful that when we do not inform or share what's going on in our own world that we're constantly living in, it can impact other people and they can say what the heck is going on. It's going to be that much more powerful when we use our defined throat center in order to communicate what it is that we are bringing into the world. Then you have your reflectors. Their strategy is to wait a full lunar cycle, so waiting about 28 days or so, to see how the planets shifting and changing the transits affect them, and then they can make a decision based off of that. The reflectors are a little bit different than all the other types. That is the strategy and what that means for each different type.

Speaker 1:

So I'm going to go into the authority. The actual authority is probably the biggest thing that you are going to learn with human design. That is going to make the most impact for you when you learn about an authority. There's several different types. The one that is the most popular is the emotional authority, and I'll go a little bit more in depth into this.

Speaker 1:

Usually, an authority is all about who you listen to, and it's intended to align you with your inner guidance system, and we're all familiar with various types of outer authorities, so, like our parents, our teachers, public and political figures and anything that is external to us, so human design is actually about awakening to the inherent authority that resides within us. So the inner authority is about becoming aware of the decision making process which best supports your strategy and further aligns you with your unique nature. So when you follow your inner authority, you can remove that mental pressure to be certain or clear about what is correct for you and this allows you to find alignment based on your unique energy. So the different types of authorities are the solar plexus, so finding clarity after moving through your emotional waves, your sacral authority, and that's like a gut feeling, a yes or no response. You have your splenic authority, which is intuition or truth in the now. You have your ego or heart authority, which is all about willpower and desires. You have your self projected or G center authority, which is self satisfaction or happiness. And you have environmental or mental authority, and that is when one hears their own voice and is feeling very relaxed and settled to find that clarity. And then, lastly, you have the reflector authority, which is again waiting those 28 days before you can make a decision. So those are kind of like the basics.

Speaker 1:

I could seriously do like a five hour podcast, just diving deeper into more of this. But, like I said, if you want to go more in depth and learn more about your strategy and authority and your type, you can go to my website and download that report from the big leap link in my profile. So that is the basics of human design. I kind of shared exactly like how I got into it and how I view and how I use it, and I'll give you like a brief example of my experience and experimentation with it and just so you can kind of see how I play around with this system and how I've used it and how it has radically shifted and changed my life.

Speaker 1:

So I discovered human design, or rather someone brought it to me over four years ago and I was at a plant medicine ceremony and someone was like you need to look at the human design stuff. And I was like whatever, like I'm not interested in this. Because I looked it up and it was like, oh, I'm a manifester and I was like I've never manifested anything in my life and that's not really what being a manifestor means. But at the time I was like this is complicated, because when you look at your human design chart you're like what the heck am I looking at? There's so much that goes into it and you honestly really need a reading with somebody to really understand what you're looking at with your chart, and so it took me a couple of months before I really went back and looked at the system and was like, okay, there's actually something with this.

Speaker 1:

And so I got a reading and I just remember sitting there like in shock and just crying in that first reading because it was like the first time in my life I felt seen, I felt like I was given permission to accept parts of myself that I had suppressed for so long, and it gave me this label of how I could make sense of how people communicate. Because when you think about human design, to me it's very mechanical. You have your chart. These are the underlying conscious and unconscious aspects of your chart, and when you interact with another person, you're interacting with parts of their chart, and so it's just the mechanics of whether you are attracted to somebody or repelled by somebody, and human design just basically gave language to how I can communicate with other people, how I can learn about myself and expand my self awareness, and so it was very profound in that aspect, and so I just dove straight into human design and it was so helpful for my relationship at the time the way that I interacted with other people, and I just could not get enough of it and I began to play around with, like, oh okay, my entire life I was acting like a generator.

Speaker 1:

Well, my chart is saying I'm a manifester, and so what does that mean if I play around and I'm not responding to things and I start to not burn myself out and take too much on because I don't have that sacral energy, and I actually come to a place of emotional clarity and learn how to work with my strategy and authority as an emotional authority and not rush into decisions and start to come back to myself and see, you know what decisions have I been making that are not in alignment for me? How am I going to live my life differently if I'm not working 12 hour days and then going working out at the gym after and not having energy and not being able to be in that space where I have the energy to actually execute any urges that come through me? And so it was very enlightening for me to really explore and see how out of alignment I was. And again, there's no judgment at all towards any of this. You know I was raised by two generators, so actually I have. There were three generators in my family my dad, my mom and my brother and then my sister and I were manifesters, and so you can imagine, like all of that conditioning to say you need to live this life in this way and I'm picking up energy, the sacral energy and all these other energies from all of these people in my family and I'm constantly being conditioned by it and I didn't really know who I was, or just was so out of alignment with myself.

Speaker 1:

And so when you enter into human design, they call it the human design experiment, where you go in and you're actively deconditioning all these parts outside of yourself. And so to me it's not just human design when you go into the deconditioning journey. For me personally it has been like realizing that there are deeper layers of trauma and belief systems and emotions that are stored in the body, and so those are other layers that can be addressed through different tools like somatic therapy and working with your limiting belief systems and doing AFT tapping and all these other tools that I personally have used in my own path. But human design is very incredible because it can show you where that conditioning is, and so it's is a lot of watching a train wreck. It's like the best way that I could explain it is because you're like, oh my gosh, if I'm this type and I have been living my life this way, as a generator, my whole life, or projector or whatever, and you realize like, holy crap, this is not really who I am.

Speaker 1:

And it's not about jumping from one identity to another. Although it can become that if you are not aware, it is something that you can become aware of and say, okay, like, if I'm not a generator and I'm a manifestor, what would it mean if I actually changed this about my life? How does that feel in my body? What is my emotional wave when I have clarity saying about making this decision, does this feel right or does this feel wrong? And so the whole system basically guides you back to yourself, to step into your sovereignty, to empower you to learn how to say this is what is correct for me, this is what my body is telling me, it is leading me, even though my mind is saying what the heck are you doing? This doesn't make sense, because it has been so heavily programmed and conditioned by the external environment, our whole lives.

Speaker 1:

And so the last four years, for me personally, have been just kind of scraping off those layers of conditioning and doing all this, this deeper work, because realizing I was like, wow, I really don't know myself and I have been living my life doing all these things. No wonder I was unhappy, no wonder I was dissatisfied. And Human Design gave me the language in order to basically explain why I felt the way that I did, and it was very empowering and it gave me more freedom in my life to explore something outside of, like this is where I'm at, but I don't know how to change Human Design. It was like another step or again like this blueprint that I was able to reference and say, oh, it was saying I'm supposed to like have you know this specific channel or this specific thing about my chart? And it's actually really amazing skill that I came here to share with the world and that's actually something that I was suppressing my entire life. So it gives you permission to explore potentialities that reside and live within you, and so that's what I really love about Human Design, because it's almost like this stepping stone to break you out of the box that you are in and help you step into a more empowering box.

Speaker 1:

And I personally believe that Human Design can be a stepping stone because if we are a source or God, you know, and we're experiencing life in this 3D reality, in these almost like limited bodies, there are going to be tools that show up along the way, that empower us to step out of our current boxes, and that limiting thinking to help us remember that we are limited beings, and so Human Design can be that for you, it can be one of those tools. So, just like anything in life, when you are, say, for example I'm just going to give this analogy say, for example, you're going into a forest and there are no paths in the forest, and so you get this big machete, knife, and you're just cutting down all these leaves and these branches and these trees and just making room for this path, and you're going down this path and you need the machete in order to cut down the trees and the plants and things like that. And then you get to the end of the forest and you're like all right, this tool was so useful for me. And when you come out of the forest, you see this big mountain in front of you and you're like well, this machete is not as useful for this next part of my life or this next level of consciousness, and so you put that machete in your back pocket or in your backpack or whatever, and you're like, okay, I'm going to need an ice pick and I'm going to need special shoes and I'm going to need, like, warmer clothes and all these different things. And so you get those tools that are going to help you climb that mountain or explore that next level of consciousness. And so, while you may not need a machete in that moment, you're going to have it in your backpack if you were to come along a forest again, but you're going to have your ice pick for this next journey that you're going on. And so that is how I view human design as this tool, like the machete or the ice pick, and I'm going to need them at different times in my life for different things and where I'm at and what I need. And so it's helpful for a period of time to help me wherever I am at.

Speaker 1:

And as I begin to transcend limitations and belief systems and set more into my own sovereignty, then I'm going to explore and use other tools to help me expand my consciousness in different ways. So it's not just going to be human design and it's not this huge like end all be all. And so, personally, when I view the system from that perspective. It's not limiting, it's not like I'm a manifestor and this is what I have to do and this is how I have to live my life and whatever. And just because my chart says this doesn't mean like it means this about me, because I know that there are people who take it literally and it's kind of like this mental game where they try to match their chart up with their life and that's not really how it works. It's really about coming back to yourself and listening to your body and what is your truth, and so that is one way that you can look at human design as another tool that you can explore.

Speaker 1:

Before I wrap this up, I just want to give an example of a client that I worked with where I used human design, in combination with other tools as well, to help them move through something in their life, so you can see how it's actually applicable in a real life scenario. So, for an example, I had a client who was feeling really stuck in a job and this was not really sure how to move forward, just feeling very unappreciated, really burnout, and when I pulled up her human design chart, it showed that she had an open spleen and open heart and, when I started to dig a little bit deeper, just found out that she was afraid to let go of that job but was really cleaning onto it from like a safety perspective, even though it wasn't good for you, it wasn't healthy for her, it wasn't serving her any longer, and so she was feeling really burnout because she was constantly saying yes to things at work when she didn't have the energy or the willpower from her open heart center and she was just constantly trying to prove herself. And so, also with an open head and an Aajna, she was getting very lost in her co-workers' thoughts and she just felt so scattered. And so, with that context of like, okay, here are potentialities and we're using this human design language, I was able to work with her to dive deeper into underlying belief systems that she had, to help her set more into her own power and go deeper into her insecurities of needing to prove her worthiness, and we were able to release emotions and shift beliefs surrounding that and, as well as using gentle somatic exercises like breath work to handle stress in a different and a healthier way for her. So in the end, as we worked together, she ended up finding another job that was less hours, more money, and she started to prioritize time alone so that she could get more familiar with her energies and not constantly be taking on other people's energies and getting lost in it. And so that is just a quick example of how you can use the system and how it can benefit your life when you start to become aware of these shadow aspects or these parts of yourself where you may not be in alignment with yourself and it's based on those underlying insecurities or you have these fears or whatever, and so you can really use human design to your benefit to break you out of these boxes that you put yourself in and you don't even realize that you have put yourself in those places.

Speaker 1:

So that is all that I have to say about human design for today A really brief overview. I say brief. I think I've been talking for like 40 minutes or so, but this has been my experience with human design so far. I could talk so so much more about it, and maybe I will go more in depth into the different types and the different parts of human design charts in later episodes, but I really wanted to share this perspective because not many people are familiar with human design.

Speaker 1:

It's starting to get a little bit more popular and I think people can view it as like this Enneagram or whatever, and it's so so much deeper than that and you can use it as a tool that is very empowering for you to set more into your authenticity, to set more into coming back to your internal guidance system, and so I feel like when it is explained that way, it's much more empowering and it can be looked at as something to be curious about and something to have fun with and to remove any shame or like I'm doing this right or I'm doing this wrong, because to me, that's not what this system is used for at all. It is meant to be an experiment to look at and say, wow, like there are other possibilities that I can actually be living my life. That will make my life so much more easier, that will Allow me to love and respect myself more, because I am choosing and making different decisions that are in alignment To me, because I am in touch with myself and my higher self, with source, with my internal guidance system, with my authority, whatever you want to call it. To me it's all the same thing, and it just allows for you to have a more Beautiful life that you feel good about and, even though things might be falling apart or crumbling to the ground, you at least are more grounded and in touch with yourself. So you are reacting to that differently, you are viewing and perceiving it differently because you have that foundation and that groundedness within yourself and that is how human design can help you in that way. So I hope all of you enjoyed this episode about human design again.

Speaker 1:

This was like a long time coming. I have been wanting to do a podcast on this and there are just so many different things that I have to say about this system and the impact it has had on my life and you know I'm not the same person I was, even just a year ago and the system has been Something that came into my life when I was feeling very lost and gave me this foundation to step on and To explore and get to know myself on a much, much deeper level and expand my self awareness and then also start to perceive the world and other people in a different light, with more love and compassion, because really understanding we are all so different and unique and honoring and respecting that, even though it is different than my chart or how I perceive the world. It gave me language to say, oh, that person is a projector and this is how they respond and react to things. And Before I might have judged them for that and now I'm like, okay, that's just who they are and I accept them for who they are. And so there are so many beautiful things that come from using the system in different ways.

Speaker 1:
