Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up guys? We're out in Miami, florida, golfing at Deering Bay, yacht and Crunchy Club. We got an episode coming to you with the guys from the Marker Locker. They own a company that has this little locker on the side of your golf bag that attaches to your golf bag that stores all your ball markers, so you don't lose it. We're excited about today's episode. It's gonna be fun. It's hot here in Miami.

Speaker 3:

It is spicy, it's hot, it's hot.

Speaker 2:

I was so happy that in Texas they, you know, we were in 105 all summer basically and in Texas it went down to the 70s this week and I'm like hell yeah, it's great. And then they come out here and it's hot as shit. Thank you so much. Thank you, you're awesome.

Speaker 3:

Lilo, see you in a bit.

Speaker 2:

Drink right outside your car.

Speaker 1:

Belly bar Cannot complain about that, yeah.

Speaker 2:

He's got modellos in his car. Yeah, he does have modellos in his car. What's he doing?

Speaker 1:

That's when you know you're at a spot if the ranger is actually drinking on the job.

Speaker 2:

Right the starting. You're like I've never seen this before.

Speaker 3:

Like, yeah, we doing good here, blacky Whitey.

Speaker 2:

I don't know what you're playing from Women's.

Speaker 3:

You know actually funny to say a lot of these members have been playing from the red. He's ever since Bryson said he should shoot 60 or under for him.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, exactly what's the yardage?

Speaker 3:

The yardage is not long course, but you can see how tight it is. Not a lot of room, yeah. So I mean, like we can play, though we can play the blue 61, or the back is 65. I think the back's going to be just eat you alive. It's how tight it is. So 61? Yeah, why not?

Speaker 1:

Water on every hole.

Speaker 4:

Cool.

Speaker 2:

When the first hole is good.

Speaker 1:

I'm coming out cold. I mean a lot of balls, I'm not bad.

Speaker 2:

A lot going on Two different companies.

Speaker 1:

All one team.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Promoting golf? Oh yeah, I think so.

Speaker 3:

It did, oh no.

Speaker 2:

Get lucky.

Speaker 1:

Oh, we did, it came down. Members bounce.

Speaker 2:

Well, maybe, but not me.

Speaker 3:

Oh, okay, okay, I got lucky huh, yeah, I saw a call.

Speaker 1:

I saw it come down.

Speaker 3:

Just fall the road all the way down until you get to the last set of boats, and then the number two passes right here.

Speaker 1:

You already said, when you get to the last set of boats.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

We're not in Kansas anymore.

Speaker 2:

What are boats? They don't have boats in Texas.

Speaker 1:

There you are Right there. I think I'm all right, I got lucky. Yep, oh shoot, nice little smooth 171. Oh, drawn a little, all right. So how many of these have you done thus far? Four, okay, three are in production right now. Okay.

Speaker 2:

All local. One was my best friend, one is a good friend of mine who's a firefighter. One's, I guess, quote unquote my brother-in-law, okay, and then the other is just some random guy on the course. Oh, really, yeah, I just partnered with him.

Speaker 1:

That'll do. I don't know about you, but I always feel I come out like cold. I feel fine, but then once I get nine holes into it, my swing goes to shit. You would think it'd be the opposite, wouldn't you? Like warming up and like?

Speaker 2:

I could feel that Sometimes it's the opposite. For me, though, sometimes it's hey, I come out kind of like shit, and then right around hole eight you wake up. Yeah, it's either my front's good or my back's good. They're never both good. It's a vicious game Really. I got two girls already. You got two already.

Speaker 1:

You got the third coming.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. So my girlfriend had two daughters when we met. Ah, okay, and so there's two girls already in there, there's a third coming, so everybody's a girl dad here.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Anybody putt the greens or no.

Speaker 3:

No, they look fucking spicy.

Speaker 1:

They look.

Speaker 3:

They look brutal.

Speaker 2:

I mean mine, rolled uphill all the way over here.

Speaker 1:

Oh, they are a little spicy.

Speaker 2:

Kind of bunch of yachts.

Speaker 1:

Is that a house? You think a club? Oh, it fits Little meat on them. Oh, steve, get this in the background.

Speaker 3:

Bro, sit down, it's good Take that out of the first hole, baby.

Speaker 1:

Wow, Steve.

Speaker 2:

That's a good thing. I got that on camera. That's hilarious. This is what happens when you tug it too hard.

Speaker 1:

Oh no, oh no, snake too.

Speaker 3:

Oh man oh.

Speaker 2:

I Damn that went.

Speaker 3:

They're fast, bro, they're fast, too fast.

Speaker 2:

All right, we're just going to say it's a freaking Par. Steve Wanda Ba. I'm from, actually, el Paso, texas.

Speaker 1:

Originally.

Speaker 3:

What do we have to do?

Speaker 1:

I've got to go through, all the way through. I've actually lived all over the place man You've got to go through the thread.

Speaker 2:

Just because work or School work. Yeah, I played college baseball and moved around a little bit. So my freshman year I went to Temple, texas, played at Temple Junior College. And then I went to Trinidad, colorado, and played at Trinidad State Junior College. And then I went to New Mexico Highlands for a semester in Las Vegas, new Mexico Damn yeah, you were all over the place. And then I went to New York Nighak, new York and then after that I lived in California, iowa and Texas. Geez, back to Texas. Yeah, traveled to, traveled to states a little bit.

Speaker 1:

So what is your? Is your girlfriend or wife? Now she's my girlfriend, okay, so what does she think of your entrepreneurship here?

Speaker 2:

I don't think she truly understands it. Okay.

Speaker 1:

Does she like golf at all? She doesn't Okay, so she hates it, yeah, okay.

Speaker 2:

No one, she doesn't really, I mean. She supports me, though, so it's good. Like she supports me, she is all for it, Like she trusts me and she wants me to just do what's going to make me happy. Yeah, heck yeah, but like, as far as like she's a lot more conservative than I am, yeah Right, not a risk taker.

Speaker 1:

She's not a risk taker, all right, it's a good offset, yeah.

Speaker 4:

Wow.

Speaker 1:

Are we letting it eat or are we 181 into the teeth? Part three Is it part three? And it's tight.

Speaker 2:

But she definitely is cool with it. Yeah, I mean now, if I wasn't working and I was doing this only and she was supporting me, like I feel like she'd have more of a say, right, yeah, for sure 181.

Speaker 1:

Godspeed.

Speaker 2:

I mean, even though the water is not really in play. It's in play, like you shouldn't hit it in the water, but Where'd that go? It stayed right.

Speaker 1:

Under the wind, hang on forever, spin hard. I just lose it on the green. I hope it stopped. It looked like it did it. Looked like it checked up. Oh, I'll pure it.

Speaker 2:

That's a nice ball.

Speaker 1:

Drawing in like an artist. Oh yeah, it's just a great swing, great swing, great swing. The gallery.

Speaker 2:

You guys got in a lot of orders, or not, really yeah so we've got about what 700?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, 700 sold, wow, yeah.

Speaker 2:

And a month. That's awesome.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, man. So I mean it's not like it's a lot, but but for pre-orders, man, people want it like.

Speaker 1:

They want to see it.

Speaker 3:

They want it now.

Speaker 2:

They want it now, yeah. Right, I mean I've been running a bunch of pre-orders. I haven't really gotten much.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, man, so like that just shows that it's.

Speaker 1:

And it's one channel. Social media is one channel.

Speaker 2:

Well, that also just fits. I mean, you have a good concept Like me, it's just I'm not really like to me you're putting your brand out. To me, this is a loss leader. Yeah, this is it. Looks like it went right at the flag.

Speaker 3:

Right at the flag. Yeah, man, I mean, I've said it all along and once we get product, I feel like it'll be a different, different story, because we'll be able to. You know, right now we're showing off our prototype, the prototype is just like it's a 3D printed image, you know like.

Speaker 2:

unfortunately, and you could, once you have product too, like you could almost sell it on the course.

Speaker 1:

Yes, oh, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Hey, we have a couple. You want one Exactly.

Speaker 1:

Pay for your rounds. I mean, we're gonna straight up Tommy boy it you know. Yeah, and that's what you have to do. Yes, exactly what you gotta do I mean it's not gonna come to you.

Speaker 2:

It's hey, you gotta go and get it.

Speaker 1:

Yep or you don't Yep, exactly Because you're competing. I mean, luckily we're like very differentiated.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you guys are like a specific item.

Speaker 1:

Yep.

Speaker 2:

But it's still a golf brand, it's still a golf brand.

Speaker 1:

It's still. You're competing against the big boys.

Speaker 2:

Which I ultimately, I don't want to see it as a competition to me. Like that's why, like I said, I'm not really in it for the money. Yeah, I want to actually promote any and all golf brands. You just want to be out experiencing golf, right? Yeah, even if they're my competitors, like it doesn't matter to me. Yeah, because I even have, like I have a, I have a, like I'm a brand ambassador for pins and aces, okay, and so, like I have their link to where I could sell something of theirs if I wanted to. Gotcha and it's on my page, gotcha. Like, if they go to my brand affiliates, like they're on there.

Speaker 1:

So do they do e-commerce through you? No, no, it directs them to it directs them to their website.

Speaker 2:

So, anything that person buys on their website is gonna be me Gotcha and so I man, I'm nervous about mine.

Speaker 1:

If this is me, which it is?

Speaker 2:

Oh look, I'm in the tree. You got you all perfect, Thank God.

Speaker 1:

I was there Off the tree.

Speaker 2:

It's not very often that you have to pick up a stick this big that's on your ball. It doesn't last as long as my ball doesn't move. That's it. It's not very often that you have to pick up a stick that big to move. Hey, it's dead, it's movable. So when are your actual lockers coming in?

Speaker 1:

So end of November or early December, Nice, We'll be our first production run. And then we got the PGA show in January. You're going? Yeah, so we got accepted into the inventor spotlight. No, that's cool. Yeah, so that's sad, Chris.

Speaker 4:

Thank you.

Speaker 1:

We're hoping there we're gonna bring a lot and be able to sell more there and then figure out what the next order of quantity is gonna be.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, 700 is pretty damn good. Yeah, agreed.

Speaker 1:

For only two months.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly, and you're not having to fork out your own capital for it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we're not in that much right now. I know you are. You got a good feeling about it, yeah.

Speaker 3:

You want to yank it, but keep the hole in it. I know. Make them make the first move, Conway. That's so good. So what's your?

Speaker 1:

plan. Oh good, I love that one. Oh, you gotta hit it. You gotta hit it Cause you're older than me. I'll give you that she will. So how old are you guys? 37.

Speaker 3:

I know I don't look at day over 20. It'll be 38 soon.

Speaker 1:

I'll be 38 soon. Nice, one of those things where we're just starting our life, you know, at 37. Yeah, exactly. It just took us a while to come up with a good idea. Wasted your 20s, yeah, every single day we'd come together on a call for 20 years saying, guys, what's a good idea? None of them worked. Oh, that's cool. Which one is that one? Oh yeah, the goat. The goat, tiger, tiger, goat it's good, fitsie, yeah.

Speaker 3:

You should just try to come to the PGA show, man. You're a vendor technically, so you'd be able to get in. Yeah, man, what's going on, dude?

Speaker 2:

Where is?

Speaker 3:

it In Orlando. When 23rd to 26th.

Speaker 2:

Of January. Yeah, oh, boy burned him. Do you have to have any specific credentials to get into that show?

Speaker 3:

I think you just have to be a business.

Speaker 2:

I got a bogey up Last hole. Call it a double bogey, I think I don't even know anymore. I'll just go with a triple bogey. Yeah, At this point.

Speaker 1:

Have you seen this? This is the kid caddy. Have you seen him yet?

Speaker 2:

The kid no.

Speaker 1:

So you being a family man, so he patented basically you take out your stroll instead of a golf cart and so it attaches to oh, I've seen that, yeah, like this. I have seen that, yeah, so he's been hitting us up and real helpful and helping with production. That's cool. The community itself, dude, is just incredible. Yeah, 100%, everybody is just so helpful. Exactly, they're not selfish, they're not like hey, I'm not gonna help you.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, they're not in it for themselves, but not really like Correct, correct, yeah, yeah. Correct yeah.

Speaker 4:

I'm not giving up. I'm not giving up. Yeah, I'm nervous on the surface and I'm fine.

Speaker 3:

So, you're trying to. You've got different products and stuff like that apparel yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, all of my stuff has been mainly just to grow ground awareness. Yeah, right, so it's nothing too crazy. Yeah, I mean, I got we got the golf cart. We all love the Cousies, the magnet. Yeah, I got Cousies with the magnet. I got polos, hats, yeah, tees, yeah, golf tees, divid tool Show you can Short, but it'll be safe, that'll be safe. Yeah, it'll be way short, just all stuff that like-.

Speaker 3:

You do, have you done well with that.

Speaker 2:

I haven't sold much. Okay, I'm still trying to grow my social media following and grow some traction Are you doing it? All by yourself.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm telling you, man, it's a full time gig bro.

Speaker 2:

It's hard, man, it is spicy out. I'm my underdits.

Speaker 1:

Oh boy, yeah, yeah, those things that crease-.

Speaker 3:

That's got to be honest with you. I'm so glad I wore these Navy pants, because if I wore the khaki bro-.

Speaker 1:

Oh swamp ass, oh man.

Speaker 3:

I always put my ass over the top.

Speaker 1:

Yo, you're so wet. I can see the dark spots on that fucking Navy shirt.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, that's how sweaty I am.

Speaker 2:

Oh, just pure.

Speaker 1:

Just pure, just pure man. That's so good. I'm talking about it. We take the game very seriously. You tell that's so good.

Speaker 3:

That's so good, oh man Stand farther back?

Speaker 1:

Why do you always say that I'm trying to get into the zone?

Speaker 3:

We're like 18 paces away, man. It's like 20 yards.

Speaker 2:

He's back at the clubhouse. Christian, whose side are you on? Sorry, my bad.

Speaker 3:

He's on our side because you've got a mic over there, man. We've got to have a mic over here, dude.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's gonna do it. Dude, that's perfect. Yeah, that's so good.

Speaker 2:

Is that one mile walk to the ball?

Speaker 1:

It was actually a mile and a half Christian, if you really want to know. I stepped it out. That's funny, yeah, so we're always about who can bring down the self-esteem to first hole, and then normally that person plays the worst.

Speaker 2:

Oh shit Really.

Speaker 1:

We're lifelong friends, man, it's cool, that's cool.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, how long, when did you guys meet and how?

Speaker 1:

did you guys meet? I knew Steve since I was seven. We played club soccer oh, that's cool. So all the way up through high school, through college, he was a roommate, and then Austin and I were good friends in high school and then he became a really close friend in college. That's cool. And then they started working together in. Tampa and then.

Speaker 2:

Started working together in Tampa.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, in Tampa, and they stayed close. I was in Orlando, so we were pretty close. And then life, kids, everything else, work kind of came into play. And then Austin was just like look man, I think I have an idea here. And we all got on the phone and we just started talking about it and we're just like it's not patented, nothing's out there, let's do it. That's freaking cool. Yeah, and you guys just ran with it, just ran, we just ran. That was one. You know, normally people are just like hey, I have an idea, but they don't execute. Yeah, right, was that you? I don't know.

Speaker 4:

Is that you?

Speaker 2:

Taylor Media. I didn't think he, I thought you hit it further than that.

Speaker 3:

No, no, no, he hit it like shit.

Speaker 1:

His underbooms were holding him back.

Speaker 2:

I even picked it up. I even picked it up because I thought it was further.

Speaker 1:

Shade Throw in shade Throw in shade. Good swing Fitz my bad.

Speaker 3:

Now you'd have to back out without Scott. Fitz is good.

Speaker 1:

Disrespectful. Is that funny, fitz? What 70 is winning the battle. This is a dangerous course. Oh it is, it is Tight. He said the first three. Oh no, no, close to a hosel, there it's going to, it's just going to drop with you.

Speaker 3:

I feel like I know where your head's at.

Speaker 1:

Close to a hosel, you do.

Speaker 3:

That was almost a hosel.

Speaker 1:

It was. Oh, I see what you did there.

Speaker 3:

Yep, david Hosel, huh, that's what I was the last three weeks. It's almost a hollow hosel. Oh, that's going to be all right. Better than good, yep.

Speaker 1:

When did you come up with your concept 2020. Ok, so pandemic.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we me and my buddy, same thing, man, like we've same concept, like, like we're always talking about ideas and trying to find something that's going to freaking take off, take off. And we're like, well, why don't we just freaking do something with golf, man, yeah, and so it started with, started with tag golf, and it was like that's a gimme. And we made a logo and stuff. And I was just wasn't feeling it, ok. And then how long was that in place? For Not long. Ok, we did a little social media stand and just freaking dropped it right away. Just no engagement at all. Well, no, I just I just wasn't feeling it. I wasn't feeling the look of the logo. I didn't like the name, I didn't like, yeah, why, why tag golf? That's a gimme. And then traveling golf Like it stood for both God.

Speaker 1:

Oh, ok. Ok, Because it was an acronym. It was an acronym Gotcha.

Speaker 2:

Ok, because of the concept that I was trying to do, gotcha, or that we're trying to do, and it just, it just didn't sit with me, and so then I went OTM golf, on the move golf.

Speaker 4:

OK.

Speaker 2:

I mean keep going, oh, in the hill, kind of towards the shade. No, it's back right.

Speaker 1:

And then we, a little nine, so you did three different acronyms Two, no, but the light on the move was the other one and then tagged off, that's it Okay.

Speaker 2:

And then I just didn't like the logo there too and I kind of I was getting closer and all good swing Once. That didn't even like we didn't even move forward. I didn't even move forward with that. And then I started just like really coming together with this logo and this logo it has a golfer on one side. I've seen it, or paid attention fully, but there's a golfer on one side hitting and then there's an airplane on the other side. So that's the only part of my logo that emphasizes on travel.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

And so we did that and I found love with the logo. And then I added the tea part at the bottom that I think was like my favorite part of the logo, but it's kind of hard to put on hats and stuff. And then so this is how the logo turned out. And I created the business plan and ran with the business plan and created like hey, what, what, what travel could cost. We want to actually have tournaments too. Oh yeah, and so I'm going to do nine or 11 tournaments a year. I have I broke the country into 10.

Speaker 1:

I was going to say so. You're not doing Texas, You're doing national. National. This is what we need. We need it becomes so stale, so quick and like for people to like mix it up and like yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I uh, nice shot Fets. I broke the country into. I broke the country into 10 regions, okay, and then we're going to have a national tournament at the end of the year for the best teams in each. So what's your format? It's going to be a scramble, scramble, yeah.

Speaker 1:

And are you handicapping it? I am, yeah, I'm going to do a, I'm going to do a scramble, scramble.

Speaker 2:

Nice shot, fitz. That's a golf, gods man. What did you say? Talking shits? We're talking too much shit get whatever.

Speaker 4:

Wealles.

Speaker 1:

I'll let him and come back left. Well, you would never know, he shanks it Even through three. That looked good when you hit it.

Speaker 3:

You need to make this.

Speaker 1:

Man, it sucks to suck. Beautiful course. You started off great, though that was a three putt. Though she back Claught a pen.

Speaker 2:

So tell me about the tournament when you look online and go to my tournament page so you can get an idea.

Speaker 1:

Coronado, great pronunciation. I'm mic'd up.

Speaker 3:

I'm mic'd up Of the equation. The equal Golf is swag. That's all it is. That's what I'm trying to say. I'm going with that. The scientific of the equations that equals a golf.

Speaker 1:

I don't even remember the first line on that.

Speaker 2:

Alright. It was a terrible drive.

Speaker 3:

It's part five. Thank you, oh Christian. What a shout. You put the hammer or a thorn on that one.

Speaker 1:

That was swag. What did we say about that? I'm not getting that one. I am not getting that one.

Speaker 2:

You put your hips into that one.

Speaker 4:

Oh no.

Speaker 1:

She's gone, oh man.

Speaker 2:

Where did you guys stay last night?

Speaker 1:

Joe's mom, you walked right into that one.

Speaker 2:

There could be a hotel called Joe's. My mom is a Latino woman.

Speaker 1:

She's going to be careful. She will fuck your shit up.

Speaker 3:

She will fuck your shit up.

Speaker 2:

As a matter of fact, that chonkla is flying right now you better duck.

Speaker 1:

We all grew up around here we stayed with his. Oh boy. I meant to bring these for you guys, did you those are mine Did we repair everything?

Speaker 2:

I got it made in China.

Speaker 1:

What do you think of shooting right now? It's a very tough course. You look at him up there, it's right on the edge.

Speaker 2:

It's nothing but water everywhere.

Speaker 1:

I've never seen it like this. This is a very tight course. The conditions are gorgeous. 168 to clear. Well, you can see here.

Speaker 2:

I was about to say what the hell I was like. I had to hit it over the water.

Speaker 1:

All carry Sounded good Good.

Speaker 2:

I'm not sure what did you hit there?

Speaker 1:

7. This is a lot of water. This is normally one of the most tree lined water courses I've played, not only do you have water?

Speaker 2:

you have a shit ton of trees.

Speaker 1:

It's a lateral OB. No matter what Good swing, steve, it's bending.

Speaker 2:

I was actually pretty excited about this course. It's a lot of water so it's going to be challenging. I know I was going to struggle last year. You knew what.

Speaker 1:

We'll call it jet lag 2 hours or 1 hour. We flew in yesterday.

Speaker 2:

I can't wait to see the reaction. We surprised him with the tickets. One of my brothers and one of my sisters doesn't go to things a lot. He was upset because he was like it would have been cool if my whole family was there. They flew out of Austin because it was $200 cheaper round trip.

Speaker 2:

We were leaving yesterday to go to the airport. He found out that my brother and his son were coming. We poked ass at the airport for my sister to get here. She got delayed. My goddaughter, his granddaughter, ran up to him and he was like what the hell? Now he's getting surprised with 4 tickets.

Speaker 1:

What a 50th birthday. Seriously, that's it we all do.

Speaker 2:

So if you had to, I guess, define everybody's role, what would do you guys have to find roles? Yeah, we do so.

Speaker 1:

Steve is our marketing social media. You can see right here, right, he's completely grinding out with social media. Austin is our front of the house sales, so he's reaching out to basically every potential client that we can have. And then I'm the back end financial and operations. So manufacturing finances, logistics, managing our daily meetings, and it kind of just came into that it's based on our strengths and everything.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it all kind of makes sense, it all kind of.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it jotted exactly what. If you want the ball that you gave me, it's in the water. Dude, it's okay, it's okay. I saw that golf. We know you do, we all do so you feel like you build the brand. What's your nirvana? What do you think is your end game?

Speaker 2:

I think my end game would truthfully would be to keep the job I have because I actually love the company I work for and I actually at some point will become a manager and partner.

Speaker 1:

Oh, so this is just side hustle, no matter what, Absolutely yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, if I earned my stripes with this company. My boss said that this role is to make sales reps and managing partners that own their territory and take ownership in it. So for the bed liners are you guys?

Speaker 1:

proprietary.

Speaker 3:

As far as work.

Speaker 1:

Meaning the chemical concoction, whatever you guys have where, if someone's spraying over here and someone's spraying over here, you guys are better because it cleans, better because it. So, am I going the right way? I have no idea. Did they come this way? I have no idea.

Speaker 3:

I think I'm going the wrong way.

Speaker 1:

This is beautiful though.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I was just doing it sooner. So, as far as that is concerned, I mean we yes, we'd like to say our chemicals better, right, the hills better, the glass longer, the color stays longer and so on and so forth, right, but that is only noticeable like seven years into it, right, five, seven years into it, not, I'm sorry.

Speaker 1:

Right away. Yeah, I have no idea where they went.

Speaker 2:

That's two, so we came this way for two, so I'm going to hope that we're going back to find them.

Speaker 1:

Okay, want to ask them right here, yeah.

Speaker 2:

How do you get to hold 10?

Speaker 3:

Hold 10?. Yeah, go through there like by like I don't know how to describe it Like you know, by the clubhouse.

Speaker 1:

If you like, keep going like you know how you came in with like the palm trees and stuff.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

It's like the whole right there.

Speaker 2:

Okay. Oh yeah, I remember it's right by the clubhouse here. Okay.

Speaker 4:

I remember it now.

Speaker 2:

It was right where like parking lot was.

Speaker 3:

I thought you were following us.

Speaker 2:

I mean, I bet you, we could have still kept one that direction.

Speaker 1:

You're better than me, so all right. So keep going, so you want to. You don't want this to be your full time.

Speaker 2:

I'd rather hire somebody to.

Speaker 4:

I'm going to call you out. I'm going to call you out.

Speaker 2:

I'd rather hire sales guys.

Speaker 1:

But this doesn't do with sales. This has everything to do with your brand, your drive, your like, your passion. So if you're, if you're going to solicit that and you're going to be like, hey, I want someone else to do this for me, you're going to lose it. Yeah, you can. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

You 100% will, for sure, yeah. But also, like I mean I want to run it Right, I still run it, I'm still controlled the day to day operations. But like I want a good group of guys that can go out there and get courses on board, sure, I could. You know, market, I want to. I want to be able to bring people on to to distribute products, like I don't want to be doing every single day day operation, right, as far as that. Now, as far as as far as the podcast, right, that's me Okay. You know, as far as the basis of company, that's me Okay.

Speaker 4:

But, like as far as oh oh, 10.

Speaker 2:

We're live. I remember that it was a game.

Speaker 1:

All I want to say is I'm going to call you out. Is you want to do the tournaments, you want to do the branding, you want to do everything that you're talking about? And yet the aside hustle. And if you have to put together a tournament such as what you're talking about, right, literally, what'd you say? From November to April? Right, I don't see how you can do that based on what you're doing today. Yeah and correct. Yeah, but I get. The money has to come with it. I understand that. Yeah, I mean don't get me wrong you have three kids.

Speaker 2:

If I'm making $400,000, doing golf right, I'm just going to do that. There's no, there's no reason to stick to what I'm doing Right. So like if it's making enough to get by and get me free golf all the time and have some fun, then I'll just stick to the job I have and do it right. I got, but I like I want to out, like I don't want to have to do every single day operations, like I want to know you want to be able to have people on board.

Speaker 2:

Like I want. I want people back in, like like the face of the podcast, as far as I'll be at every tournament and talking and introducing everybody to the tournament and playing in the rules, Hosting, Hosting, right, yeah, yeah, I won't even be playing in the tournament, I'll be driving around, Sure, yeah yeah. And then, like, as far as like creating like the brand, like stuff like this I 'll still have a plane in it but like a lot of that stuff that, like I want to, I would like to outsource my website right, yeah, but still be, still be, have control over that. Because you still want to be able to have control over your website, because there's, like, if the person that built your website leaves, like you, don't know where some of that back and stuff is.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, absolutely yeah, you got code, you got, you got back and shit you got to work Absolutely, and so it's just a matter of just creating a team, because I don't know if realistically like what I want to do, because there's a lot of moving parts I can do by myself. I don't. I really doubt it.

Speaker 1:

I just don't want you to lose the, the concept. Your, your idea, right, yeah? Like you solicit that out, you and I know it's close to you, like I know it's your, your brother-in-law and it's brother-in-law, right, yeah, yeah. So I don't know man, I just want, I want you to. It can't be both.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it can't be both yeah.

Speaker 1:

You know, Like ultimately.

Speaker 2:

ultimately, I mean if I'm getting, if I'm actually able to sustain supporting my family with golf. Yeah, of course it's in a rain, right? Yeah, yeah, Um, and I'll just do this, but the oh yeah.

Speaker 3:

So I went to the Grove right, Grove 23, Jordan's course, Got a bunch of content right, Put it up on Instagram. Our account got suspended.

Speaker 1:

Really. A member reached out and said they better take all that down and they had the connection to Instagram executives. Yeah, that's crazy, dude. Steve, that is a just delicious shot, perfect yeah.

Speaker 3:

Exactly what I wanted to do Get away from me.

Speaker 1:

What are you doing? Yeah, dude.

Speaker 4:

That's how crazy.

Speaker 3:

it is on Instagram, dude Like it was down for $5. My wife like lost her shit man Dude, I would have too.

Speaker 2:

I've been pissed, oh shit. Okay, supposedly Facebook is trying to just like delete my account. Really, yeah, my bogus and bruise one. Why? Because of that same thing, like I just have to Stop the right stuff and just just not permissions from anything.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I mean.

Speaker 3:

That's why we asked here. I mean I know you don't, you don't know much, but like like I mean if we were to post stuff from here and somebody were like it's just crazy, yeah, it's really crazy.

Speaker 2:

It's probably one of those things where at the end of the post we probably have to put got permission from the course to create content. Let's let him go through. We put, we put, we put on there, like I took a picture of the driving range and I took a picture of my buddy.

Speaker 3:

He was doing a handstand on the, on the fucking tee. That was. That's what did it. That's what did it.

Speaker 1:

That's what did it, yeah. And then you had the 500K to initiate. That's your initiation fee in each one of these 20K fucking month.

Speaker 3:

20k month I mean, it's super dope.

Speaker 2:

20k month 20K a month, that's just dues. Dog, that's just dues.

Speaker 3:

That's not. That's not. That's not your green fees or anything. Let him go through the coolest part about it.

Speaker 1:

Man is like it was.

Speaker 3:

it was built for speed so like there's no car pass Right. Like when I tell you the sound system was up here and it was like just it's like. It was like just stupid.

Speaker 2:

Really Cards go 40, 50 miles an hour. Oh shit.

Speaker 3:

Oh, dude, and the caddies have like those motorcycles, you know those?

Speaker 2:

moments oh yeah. That's cool.

Speaker 1:

It was pretty, it was pretty dope. Yeah, I wonder if you didn't do the handstand.

Speaker 2:

That it would have been alright. It might have been that.

Speaker 1:

You did the bench too, though A lot of iguanas yeah man, it's insane.

Speaker 2:

I played in Mexico at the hard rock I don't know, somewhere in Cancun it's called the hard rock something and there was like huge iguanas there.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, so down here they're basically like rats.

Speaker 4:

Are they really?

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah they're everywhere and so they. They open up the season for be able to kill them. And then when it freezes down here, they all literally fall off trees and they go completely like dead. But they're alive still. But because they can't handle the weather, they literally just fall off all the trees.

Speaker 2:

That's insane. Yeah, and do they move?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, no, no, no when it when it's, when it's freeze, like it is literally. They're like on their backs, dead. That's insane.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and and they don't like they. Well, I guess it's not staying frozen all the time.

Speaker 1:

Correct, yeah, once it warms up they're fine, so they'll throw out, and then exactly Wow yeah, that's crazy, that's funny See it's like Boca Boca South. That's when the iguanas start coming in. Wow yeah.

Speaker 2:

I'm not really a fan of things that crawl.

Speaker 1:

No, I get it. You should see some of the beast too. Man, big boys, oh, that could be good Beast says it.

Speaker 2:

Oh, like the size of them, yep, oh.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they are. Did he make it?

Speaker 2:

For some reason, there's time.

Speaker 1:

Where'd you go? It's fair way right here. Oh yeah, look at you, that's nice, oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I might actually get a birdie this time. Yeah, buddy Bogey's and Bruce. Hey, birdies and Bruce. Can I have that one for birdie? That's how you get a two handicap right. It's like that. It's like that.

Speaker 1:

Oh smooth, Steve. Oh, that's good. Yeah, so I win the ball. You owe me a buck. Oh fat, that's ready.

Speaker 2:

Oh, no you hit it, you hit the clay. You ever watched that guy in Manolo? He's a golf player. Yeah, he's pretty funny he is. He has some good, like good pointers too, like randomly, yep.

Speaker 1:

That's like, it's amazing with the content that's out there of what sticks yeah To me. When I watch some of the like crazy influencers that have a shit ton of following, I'm just like, but then you watch it again like, okay, they got a personality.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. So when? When did you guys officially decide hey, let's do this.

Speaker 1:

So it was December of last year where we literally were doodling on a piece of paper.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I saw that post Yep.

Speaker 1:

And then, when we started doing all the patent searches, but that's just a great shot. We knew we were on to something, and so we just started hustling at that point, like first to market.

Speaker 3:

Oh, let him in again. Oh man Again.

Speaker 1:

He called that too. He called that too.

Speaker 2:

I had to get a birdie. I couldn't leave this course, that one.

Speaker 1:

Get in Nice, putt At a boy so good birdie.

Speaker 2:

So officially 10 months. You guys have been 10 months from idea.

Speaker 3:

How many birdies do we have right now?

Speaker 1:

Who knows? Probably we're opening it up right now.

Speaker 3:

Are you in for birdie?

Speaker 1:

No, no, I had two. I had two birdies on the back. I'm saying on this whole, on, this whole two birdies. Oh no, no, this would be three. This would be three.

Speaker 2:

The shortest one and I'll miss it. And did you guys incorporate? Did you guys incorporate?

Speaker 1:

What do you say?

Speaker 3:

The shortest one I'm missing.

Speaker 1:

Oh man, look at that sweat stain on the back. It is weird, we're mic'd up dude.

Speaker 2:

We're hot right now. My podcast is explicit Okay.

Speaker 1:

All right, explosive's out there, yeah, guaranteed misses this Put it in dude so bad. Yeah, that a baby. Oh nice that a baby. Good birdies, boys, a lot of shots, damn.

Speaker 2:

That's a lot of shots that need to be taken.

Speaker 3:

Well done, well done.

Speaker 1:

Well done, well done.

Speaker 3:

I think my dollar and two because I got a birdie.

Speaker 2:

Did you guys incorporate in Florida or you showed somewhere other state?

Speaker 1:

No, we incorporated in Florida. I mean, luckily they had some business background where they had their own business going on, so they knew how to do the LLC and we knew, we know that we have something right here, yeah, and that's why I think we went so fast for 10 months, right, yeah?

Speaker 2:

I think like I'm kind of in the same boat, yeah, where I think I have like a really good quality product, yep. As far as the whole concept, yep Right, not, not just the polos.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, no. The concept, the idea, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and so I I moved fast the first two months. Yeah, I really did. I mean I went out and got this, got that like because I just made this decision to go like officially Yep, because I have. I've had the concept for three years, but I mean the decision to go officially like two, three months ago.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Actually it was in May. In May, that's when I officially was like let's do it for you.

Speaker 1:

Look at how gorgeous this hole is. Is this 18?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, this is 18.

Speaker 1:

Nice little yeah, so I just the.

Speaker 3:

Baron Bunt.

Speaker 1:

Such a smooth swing, steven Scott. See how we swipe the tee like that. Did you see the swipe? Did you see the swipe? Oh, this is what I'm saying. So you've been since May right, nice, easy hit dude. So I'm going to go back to harping this on you again, where you've been hustling branding merchandise idea.

Speaker 4:

You can't hand it off to someone else.

Speaker 1:

Not right now, at this point, no exactly.

Speaker 3:

No, it's too, it's too personal.

Speaker 2:

It is.

Speaker 3:

You know what I'm saying. Like that, like we were going to bring in some guys that like in ours and just kind of, like you know, help them with the content. But dude, it's like it's ours, yeah, like we. You know they didn't start it with us.

Speaker 2:

Exactly, yeah, I think by as far as long term like, definitely not.

Speaker 3:

No long-term. You've got to build. You've got to build and grow, of course.

Speaker 1:

Oh, not it, Not it. No, he's good, he's right over. Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh shit.

Speaker 2:

I thought we all went already. I was about to go to the corner. I still got a hit.

Speaker 3:

I was about to go to the corner, I still got a hit.

Speaker 1:

Fuck you guys.

Speaker 2:

Fuck it, I'm going, I'm ending my golf career on that. Oh that's so good, let's all walk it out.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you can't, you can't let it ride man like that. You got to, I get. You got three kids. It's tough. You got a real job, like you got, to establish it and then, like you said, like down, let's say three to five years, you're starting to bring people in to help you with the operational side of this, exactly To help with the with the stuff that I'm not good at Correct.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1:

We all have our own strengths you bring people in to do that and that's a.

Speaker 2:

That's a, I guess, good thing about. Like, the people that I want to bring in right now are people that are, like, willing to do the work because they believe in me, because they believe exactly and they will, because they believe, like if they didn't believe, then they have no business here. Correct, what'd you have from there? One from from where I'm at is 115. You said 115? Where I'm at, but that's to the center of the green. The flag's at the front.

Speaker 1:

Dude, I'm dialed in on this side, Straight up, dialed in boys. Now I'm one over. Am I one over or two? Oh shit, what happened?

Speaker 2:

Christian, where'd you go? Just before the bunker, my club rolled in my hand when I freaking hit it. This is what we call bogey, and bruise birdie bogey.

Speaker 1:

Well, this has been an absolute pleasure. Yeah, man, thank you guys, it really has.

Speaker 2:

Thank you, it's been great to golf with some good people that are, you know, random at this point right, Like I never knew you guys before. You guys liked one of my posts and did I wind up in the bunker. Oh hell, yeah, that works.

Speaker 1:

I'll take that. Thank God, Is that not the worst bunker Like I know? But it's so bad.

Speaker 3:

He's so scared of it. Oh, and then two birdies, two bogeys on the back.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, I think that makes sense. Let him in, let him in.

Speaker 3:

Man, that's straight.

Speaker 2:

So forgive me for not knowing this, but what does Hossel mean? Hossel's?

Speaker 1:

a shank, so he had so.

Speaker 3:

Christian, when I tell you like I almost was going to sit in the cart today. I pull that because, like the Hossel is where the shaft meets the club.

Speaker 1:

And he was hitting it pure off the Hossel I tell you I'd have 135 in Dead right Dead right.

Speaker 3:

This was about a week ago.

Speaker 1:

Oh fits.

Speaker 3:

Break Good roll dude Come on man Put it in. Put it in for 37. Come on.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's a good put. Thank you, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Hey.

Speaker 2:

It was a pleasure, guys. It was really good meeting you.

Speaker 3:

It was awesome, really appreciate it, man. Yeah, the time was great dude. Thanks man, pleasure man.

Speaker 2:

Yep, oh man, it was tough course, for sure.

Speaker 3:

There was a lot of tricky shots a lot of blind shots.
