Ep 37 The Safety of Full Autonomous Pregnancy and Birth with Audrey Ross

On this episode I speak with Audrey Ross an in person and virtual birth keeper, coach, educator, mother, and amazing voice for "wild pregnancy" and "free birth". In this episode we delve into the realms of physiological birth and how meddling disrupts this process. We also cover how the hospital system influences licensed midwifery, and the impact of societal narratives on pregnancy and birth. What we are told by a fearful practitioner can absolutely influence our pregnancy and birth. From finding true peace through wild pregnancy and learning to fully trust undisturbed "free birth" this episode is the pinnacle of my transition from semi-support of a free birth without a midwife to FULL trust in a woman's desire to birth how God intended. I have always been trusting of a woman to birth, but learning from wise women like Audrey, I have learned my role in a birth, if I'm honored to be present, isn't to save a mother but to truly support her leading the way.
