Melinda Lawless Coker :

Hi there, I'm Melinda Lawless Coker, a psychologist here at the Transformation Project, and I'm here to talk to you about psychodrama, specifically about spontaneity and creativity. These are a couple of integral concepts in psychodrama, both spontaneity and creativity. Now, creativity is the movement we might have in various ways and spontaneity is the spark or the energy push. They really need each other for psychodrama to be what it is. So what are they or what is it? Spontaneity is a healthy response to step into action. Creativity is the healthy thinking to deal with potential issues or concerns. Now you might wonder how does it help? Or, excuse me, who does it help?

Melinda Lawless Coker :

Creativity and spontaneity can blend together to help anyone who's interested in becoming their best self, their best business self, like an employer, employees, coworker, manager, supervisor, apprentice, etc. Helps people with their being their best social self, a friend, partner, family member, and being their best self overall in life. Now, how does it help If we run out of new ways to confront a difficulty, whether it's an ongoing one or a fresh one? Creativity for moving in other directions can be our plan, once we combine it with spontaneity, when we feel stuck and are having difficulty getting into something else. This is when that energetic push from spontaneity can help us move forward backwards, sideways, up down, just whatever direction creativity will take us.

Melinda Lawless Coker :

Now, why might we do this? Because work may become less fun and more stressful. So this is a reason to do it so we can have fun and be less stressed. And where could you do this? Well, here is one place. You could do it at the Transformation Project. The information is on the screen. Reach out to www. thetransformationproject. net or call 954-260-4994. We might also come to your workplace or go to a retreat or team building location, and when, now that's up to you. Thanks.
